- We had a question pop up in my class on this paper I was involved in, so I thought I would create a video to explain it in greater detail. I hope you find some value in it.
If you like the info, come join us at the U or feel free to check out some of my VBT related content, all of which are in my linktree in my bio.
Thanks for the upload! Brilliant content
This video helped me so much really understanding this paper. Brilliant!
Outstanding work as always sir
I thoroughly enjoy your breakdowns and exposition🤓
Excellent presentation. Thank you
I would have liked to see olympic weightlifters tested on squat/front squat/pulls/deadlift on the 8:18 board
Love the content and explanations. Where could I find the figures you used in this video ?
They are in the SCJ paper
5:49 40% loss better for hypertrophy than 20%
3:07 every .06 meters per second is ~5% 1RM
Better is tough. Better for what? Overall hypertrophy, yes. Selective TypeII, no. 20% wins there.
How do we predict the 1RM from VBT? Is there a formula or paper that talks about this ?
We go over that in this paper. Take a look there, or search whatever exercise you're looking for and velocity prediction (or predicted) 1rm on Google scholar.
Hi Mr Mann, can you share with me the name of this paper, i've need this table
The title of the article is the title of the video
How do I find what the regression line for my own personal L-V profile should be?
I’ll have to look and play with it, but i think it’s under format trendline, show regression equation.
Thanks for replying! I’m not entirely sure what you mean. So, I have all my velocity numbers tracked. I’d like to be able to compare my actually velocity numbers to a a regression line to try to pinpoint my deficiencies/weaknesses. I just don’t know how to create a regression line based on my 1RM.
@@wyattlee1964 Look at my Force-Velocity Profile video from Jan 25, 2022. Fast forward to about 18:18 or so. I go over how to do it there.
