I'm getting canine implants soon and all I could think was, Christ, that drill goes down very far! I hope it isn't as painful as it looks! A very comprehensive step by step, but god that drill scares me!
I just had a back molar implant done yesterday and apart from the drill vibration and some pressure, I felt nothing. They give you a nerve block in your jaw beforehand and they make sure you're numb! Tell them if you feel anything! I was a little sore an hour or two after procedure, took an ibuprofen and very little soreness. It was harder healing from the extraction. Wishing you the best!
I agree with Birttany's comment. I'm not a fan of needles and the numbing shot hurt a little, but I just felt pressure and some vibrations. When I felt some soreness (pain) during the procedure, they stopped and administered more numbing. I had a lot of anxiety going into this appt. and so far it's been a smooth process. I'm currently three days post-op.
Yeah, I thought the screw would be smaller. It was bigger than I thought it would be. They create a guide so that it is drilled correctly. It may be difficult to believe, but, it didn't really hurt that much. Not really at all during the procedure. Some pain the first day afterwards, but, Tylenol mostly took care of it, and the next day, I didn't have any problems.
Here in uk. It is painful if you have to have a bone graft and suters. I'm not brave enough and don't want to think about a bone that goes in the graft is from a cadaver. Nooo thank you
well in carpentry, you don't have living human tissue to consider, infection, bleeding, critical nerve bundles to avoid, anesthesia, as well as the psychological component of dealing with a fearful patient, etc.....but besides ALL that, yeah i suppose its like carpentry.
Is it possible to get the crown made of Titanium? Not just the screw, I mean the whole implant. I'd love to have a metal molar, specially if I can anodize it and have a BLUE metal molar!
totally possible. Typically we offer stainless steel crowns or full gold crowns but if your dentist had access to different materials a blue is certanly possible
I,ve had 2 implants with abridge in the UK, i required bone enhancement with this video doesnt show otherwise this was exactly what happened with me , £9000.
Tooth extraction without sedation: awful. Adding in the post: awful. Crown and tooth: annoying because of impressions. Then I had a piece of floating graft which caused an infection so had to have flap surgery which was THE worst but fixed the problem

thank you
I'm getting canine implants soon and all I could think was, Christ, that drill goes down very far!
Nooo thank you
@@Rosinamo5058 I had a bone graft and it was some sort of a resin that hardened. It eventually molded into the bone.
Thanks, very explanatory, subscribed to your page ✅
Can you adjust the height of a screwed crown if it is too low?
I'm sure they could maybe with a fee though
So for an Implant it takes 7 months ?
It’s like carpentry, but with very expensive and fancy tools
well in carpentry, you don't have living human tissue to consider, infection, bleeding, critical nerve bundles to avoid, anesthesia, as well as the psychological component of dealing with a fearful patient, etc.....but besides ALL that, yeah i suppose its like carpentry.
I’m getting this done soon I’m so scared
Is it possible to get the crown made of Titanium? Not just the screw, I mean the whole implant. I'd love to have a metal molar, specially if I can anodize it and have a BLUE metal molar!
totally possible. Typically we offer stainless steel crowns or full gold crowns but if your dentist had access to different materials a blue is certanly possible
@@jayclubben1584 That's awesome, I'll try hard to find someone that can get it Full Ti ^^
@@MisterDenisTT if your in LA area look up Stevenson Dental Solitions
I,ve had 2 implants with abridge in the UK, i required bone enhancement with this video doesnt show otherwise this was exactly what happened with me , £9000.
How can u know the length without bone exposure ?
Like this treatment avaible in india..?
Tooth extraction without sedation: awful. Adding in the post: awful. Crown and tooth: annoying because of impressions. Then I had a piece of floating graft which caused an infection so had to have flap surgery which was THE worst but fixed the problem
Well explained steps
Pls mjhe koi batae kiya ye safe hoti ha?
