This video is amazing, just like all the others. I can’t get over how awesome your models are. These models are SO REALISTIC!!!! Your patients must feel so much better. I had an implant 8 years ago. It’s doing great. They used bone graft, which I’m sure you do as well. For those watching, this process is necessary for a reason. First, if you don’t replace a tooth, the tooth that it hits when biting will fall out because nothing is pushing on it.
Is that for top or bottom teeth? I have a spot just about directly under my left nostrol that needs an implant. And i was wondering if this is about what i should expect. Thanks!
Glad to see you using same implant system that i have used for 20 years. I know that this is neobiotec system made in south korea. In my case show very high success rate. Most of all i do one stage surgery without incision for reducing painful procedure. But your skill is very excellent in FM . Good luck to u.
This is really cool to see as I'm a dental technician, I do all the stone model work for implants, and crowns (crown Bridge department) also design bars with powder acrylic. Make bite rims, custom trays, wax up flippers, try-ins and finishes.
i understand that this is an involved procedure and requires a highly skilled person to do it, but the fact that we still haven't found a way to make this truly affordable, i.e. 100s instead of thousands, is almost unbelievable given today's technology. I think eventually some company is gonna make it happen and they're gonna make BILLIONS when they do.
I underwent this procedure. I was unconscious for most of it (the anesthesia wore off part way through). It's cool so see what they did to me. And for those thinking about having this sort of thing done, let me share some of my experiences. I had to have all of my teeth extracted due to a massive jaw infection (thanks to the American Healthcare system's hatred for poor people) I had 4 mounts implanted in my lower jaw and was on a liquid diet for 4 months and then soft foods for another 3 months. Was it worth it? Hell yes. Not to be in that sort of pain is worth the world. Would I do it for 1 tooth? Nah. IMO, 1 tooth is not worth the recovery time. I'd just keep the gap, make up a story about how I got in a bar fight with a dude who was getting handsy with one of my friends and leave it at that...but if you get them all replaced, or upgraded as I say, then hell yeah, go for it. The replacements are much more resilient than your natural teeth. Now if you have all your natural teeth, TAKE CARE OF THEM. I can't whistle anymore and that was one of my favorite things to do to pass the time and that makes me sad. Plus, having all your teeth removed feels very dehumanizing.

I have 5 of these implants (upper) that a open pallet upper bridge attaches to. The end result is absolutely fantastic. The 6 month healing process with a full denture sucked, but the end result was worth it. After 33 years of different partial dentures the implants are a whole new world.

This looks very straightforward and simple. The real process is much more gory. I still think implants are the best thing out there for replacing missing teeth though, I had it and have been very satisfied with the result, it's worth every penny.
Are you conscious for the procedure?
I want to have this done, but the cost is so absurdly high.
@@handlesRdumb I was conscious for this procedure. It was $1K more for 20 minutes of anesthesia. I thought I would take the risk and NOT go under. Although I felt a "pinch" from the shot of Novacaine, he popped the tooth out in a minute, literally, and drilled the implant in about as fast. I needed no pain meds whatsoever. Did not know he was finished. No pain at all! I kept waiting for the pain afterward and it never came!

Sorta already was...I have an insulin pump for my type 1 so I guess that counts as a mechanical organ?
Thankfully in my country its free schools and free hospitals

good question, for this we can mold the gum so that it is very adapted (technically called emergence profile), thanks to this the gum behaves like that of a normal tooth. Likewise, the patient must sanitize it using dental floss as part of your daily routine.
