i might need to get this done as my tooth broke a while back due to the poor filling job done at my former dental practice :( actually in the exact same place as the patient on the video. I am happy i saw how natural tooth will look and that other teeth aren't affected by the procedure
Fight it. I had some severe damage done by a dentist who attempted to fill a bi-lateral cavity when the tooth should have been root canal’d and crowned - the repair after the failure ran to the tune of $3700.

I had a recent implant and mine was a very ling procedure with extraction and stitches, a few months later I had screws implanted and a few after that I was fitted for the implant. I wonder why mine couldn't have been finished in a day?

How do I ask my dentist for that white base you used underneath the tooth? My doctor used a dark material and now there is a dark line around the base of my tooth. I'm very unhappy with it.

Just to be clear and up front, I’m not a dentist. I’m a dental technician in a lab where we manufacture implants and crowns like these.
The white base is a zircon abutment.
It’s used as a kind of stand-in for a prepped tooth so the crown (usually also zircon, but a more aesthetic and slightly weaker type) can be attached without leaving an exposed screw channel that the dentist would need to patch using cement.
The abutment can also be manufactured using a marginally darker shade of zircon than the exterior. The different layers, with minor variations in both shade and level of translucency, help to better mimic the appearance of a natural tooth.

Gum disease is such a problem where gum does not heal as other body tissues do. My dentist told me gums don't grow back, is that correct? However, I've noticed if I rinse my gums with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide that can make a slow gum repair. If had only known about it when I was younger I would have been using it all my life.

I have an oral surgeon in the Dallas Ft. Worth area that does this same procedure same day for front teeth like this one. You can even have an IV sedation to not know it is being done.
I would be very curious as to what their actual procedure is. Do you know if they injected Versed?

Cause dentist yanked and pulled my head almost off my shoulders. Saying my roots around tooth. Never heard such...He gave me Hell. Frpm grunting and groaning from his yanking and pulling...

I’m in the process of doing this to my mouth. Except for the the pain they are turning out great. I’m only 49 but meds ruined my teeth. (To my standards) had already lost quite a few. So anyhow the cost was a shock but was happy I had the money to do it. With what I’m paying I could have seriously bought a tiny home. This was very interesting to watch. With doing a full set of teeth it’s a little different it goes in more like a denture/plate. Feels weird at first but gets better every day. Anyway good job Doc. God bless

@@Sorchia56 I’ll keep you in my prayers for sure. You’ll do just fine. The soft food diet is hard I’m diabetic and had a hard time finding something without a ton of sugar. At last I started drinking the meal replacement shakes. They are perfectly balanced for a diabetic. My favorite is the Walmart equate brand strawberry and cream and the vanilla. I’m talking abt the equivalent to slim fast shakes. Not the little protein drinks. Anyway good luck.

Absolutely impressive, however, my understanding is that you need at least 3 months to allow the implant to integrate with the bone before placing the crown, Please explain. Can I also please have the contact details of your practice.
That's the normal process and a better one. But there's this instant implant process also. The crown gets fitted on the same day of extraction.

I had the exact same thing, also with bone implant. It was such a hardcore experience. I was so in pain but I know it's worth it. God bless my dentist. He know what I need & he really think of my own existence & hardship of dreaming a full teeth. I am going to have 3 of my front teeth crowned possibly this week. I just hope it's not going to be as painful as bone implant 🥹

It's very interesting. It really is part artform. I'll make sure I have a general anaesthetic if I ever have one done. That canine tooth seemed very short. My teeth have a much better grip on my head and having seen x-rays of my teeth I know my eyeteeth go way up.
Nah! You don't want a general. LOL. Just drive yourself in, have the work done and drive yourself home. I've had several of these done and it's no big deal.

It would of really been call the mass murder house cause drilling teeth and not anesthesia or numbing agent is like some idiot pulling my hair like i am an animal be abused. And yanked around. The last time that happened to me i calmly and methodically beat every man in the building unconcious the a number of potential tooth drillers, and hair pullers lay in the parking lot as i worked my way to my car and drove away from this murder house and it looked like a war zone.
That type of spearing pain sends a signal to my brain and i know what I'm doing not like a black out i just cant stop the urge and the desire to beat every living creature within eyesight and ear shot into oblivian.

i dont understand what was wrong with the tooth nthat was removed ?it sounded to me as a good tooth .
My right side upper eye tooth is an implant I had done as a teenager and then had to have it redone in my 30’s as the first one failed 16 yrs later. I had to wait 6 months for the bone to fuse to the post before I could get my crown placed.. is this in video a temporary crown or the permanent… hmm this is different from what I knew of implants… nice tho to have it all done post surgery if so.

excelente Puede ser .Pero porque se llega a eso muy simple porque cuado uno va al doctor X .solo le dan calmantes.Jamas recomiendan como en este caso cremas dentales fortalecidas con fluor.incluso como en mi caso pedia una fluorizacion pagando mi plata claro esta solo decia no eso no es necesario .
