But I realized I could do more so received aircraft avionics maintenance training and became avionics technician and joined a British airline. The airline sent me to USA for further training 8 times and I also qualified as FAA Powerplant and Structure engineer. I worked for 35 years as Saudi Arabian Royal Aircraft fleet engineer , Lufthansa airline and American airlines. I have now retired. I am 76 years old and still tinker with electronic stuff. But tvs today are a lot different than tvs of 1966, and I have started to retrain myself to repair tvs and computers. I do not sit at home doing nothing. Many things are coming back to me. I'm trying to find the schematics for a 39" Insignia tv, board HU39N2175F NS-39D420NA18. I'm trying to determine if the eeprom is faulty or one of the mosfets. All the caps were taken out and checked with meter, rectifier was checked however none of my pins has power going out to the next board. Can you do your magic and help find the schematics?
I have LG 3D LED. I face strange issue with it. If I press main chip of main board (covered with heat sink, and gently press the heat sink with screw driver) little bit then it frizz video, give bright back light with no picture (gray screen with back light) and then restart. If I attached any source like HDMI, USB it works fine if not touch the main board or not close it back cover.
Where can I get these diagrams like this? I have a Samsung model # ln32d450g1d that I suspect the main board is shorted as I have no back lights or screen when it is plugged into the power supply but there is back lights when I unplug the main board.

Service sears the problem could be a softer of mother bord chip , but if thet dont work thay have to change all maine board and that is cost about 110 dollars that is to much! good evening, i have a dead set, Coby 39" LCD model # TFTV3925. i'm thinking possible the cable box or satellite unit was impacted by power surge. inspecting modules i test where the line fuse good. question, can a HDMI or a BGA chip defect cause this symptom? the main-board is not available via vendors.
My main board is getting power, Audio, and bezel lights up. There is no video output at all , no display at all on LCD. Tried resetting power, no effect. Tried all inputs and volume increases with remote. There is no T-Con board in this model from videos I have seen online, just the main power board, the main board, and the LED driver board. No Logo displayed on boot up. Please advise as to what I can do to have this unit repaired at little to no cost. TV is cosmetically pristine and used very lightly, was very surprised that this happened. It is a LG 55LE5400, Thank you my friend!
1st check TV Panel by focusing touch light on the surface of the TV Panel while pressing menu option in TV remote. if you able to see images on TV screen in torch light that means your panel is working and there is an issue in TCON or LED driver board. Please note every TV have TCON Board (It may be inbuilt on LCD panel Board with Source & gate IC ) to access this area you have to remove LED panel completely
