FYI, it's not just AliExpress that gives you an SD card full of roms. I ordered mine from Amazon and it came with one too. In-fact, the one from Amazon didn't come with the normal cardboard box packaging, instead it came with a Miyoo-branded case that it was packed in. As for your question in the comments about what I'll be playing on the Miyoo... I mostly got it for handheld games. Game Boy, GBC, GBA, Game Gear, Lynx, Neo Geo Pocket, etc. Though, I do also have other stuff on it. I bought my own 128gb SD card for it and put my own roms on there, along with OnionOS. But so far, the main things I've been playing are the Game Boy consoles. Toss on a filter and a border/overlay, and it looks great.
And with onion os, this brings the handheld to a whole new level! Perfect emulation of the cpc, zx spectrum, amiga, c64, etc. This is a brilliant little handheld.
Just out of curiosity can you also play Wii games? The only games I’ve ever wanted to play for Wii are Pandora Tower, The Last Story and Fragile Dreams. I don’t think it will work with that device, but would it be possible to?
Retroid Pocket 2 came included with tons of games but some I had to download myself(ps1 and N64 mostly) via their own rom market. Unoftunately then the market stopped working and I am not sure they are still including games.
This is a 64GB storage card in the video. If you don’t play CD games then that’s enough, otherwise if you are a Sega CD or PlayStation 1 fan then consider a 256GB card.
Hi, im new ro these mini consoles and torn in between waiting to get this or anbernic rg35xx, just want to ask,how do you utilize the wifi capability? Will it be possible to download games using this on future maybe?
Welcome to the community! Wifi is usually used for multiplayer (another player can become controller 2, 3, 4 on the game), retro achievements and downloading cover art. It’s not usually possible to download games directly. There are programs like PortMaster that let you download some games but I think the Miyoo Mini Plus is not powerful enough to support this.
I have both and if you want to be able to play on a tv then get the Anbernic RG35XX, if you don't mind playing everything in with the button layout and on the small screen on the device get the Miyoo Mini Plus. Also, the search option on the Miyoo Mini Plus is only accessible by pressing the menu button while in a list of a system's games. Also, you get the exact same games in both handhelds. They're even in the same order.
Nice helpful video. I’m new to these little retro handhelds and think they’re amazing to play retro games and how many it can hold. I’ve come across a folder that says Game & Watch but once I click onto it it’s says empty, which is a shame as I would love to play these. Is there something that I’m not doing right to see an empty folder or are you meant to add your own Game & Watch games to this folder.
hey quick question, i just bought one of these and it came preloaded with 10,000+ games. I want to update to onion OS, can I just save these roms on to my PC and transfer them over? or is there an easier way to update to onion without messing with the roms? im kinda new to this .
That is the correct way to do it! Save to PC and move to the roms folder within the new Onion layout. Check out the video made recently by Retro Games Corps.
Do all of the Miyoo mini plus games come preloaded with all of these games? He mentioned he bought it off aliexpess, but I’m curious if I bought one off of amazon if it would come with the same games preloaded
@@th00perman_ I received a game list file for thr 128gb version from the seller... and it has indeed allot more games (especialy SNES) It has 27549 games on it
Yes it will work, but I'm surprised they sell them without the SD card. You can download all the original files that come on the SD card at this link and put them on a brand new SD card: drive.google.com/file/d/1qkpvs5sKRq2mUAzbtaPeQwYRzIH4pMTJ/view

What games will you play on your Miyoo Mini Plus?
I am playing Castlevania Circle of the Moon. I love playing handheld games on my Miyoo Mini Plus.
Hi. Does it Have Capcom Vs SNK?
I've been playing CTR, Road Rash, and a couple others that I had to put on myself
Crash bandicoot!!
when i buy it im going to play the gba crash bandicoot games. @caddicarus

I just got mine you got to show me how to add games. I need pk gold and silver, metal gear solid and super Mario games
They had me at Pokémon games
The momment i saw digimon world 3 I definitely going to buy this. Thanks so much man

@@spicyeggsnarc?? 🤣🤣🤣
Somebody needs to go through the actual list of games. I doubt any of the games I'm actually looking for are loaded on there.
It might have changed by now as the handheld has been out for a while and resellers may change the games.
I also had the same question. I bought a hand held all in games hand held systrm and the only game worth playing was Mike Tysons punch out
Yeah for real
I got pk emerald ruby sapphire leaf green and fire red. Mystery dungeon as well. No metal gear solid or pk gold or silver 🤦🏽♂️ no Mario games as well
Mudhutvania
Final Fantasy Tactics? *SOLD*
Are there PS1 games on the Miyoo Mini Plus? And if so what category is it under because I can’t seem to find any games from the PS1 on there.
I think the folder is called PSX. If it doesn’t show up on your handheld, it means there are no games in that folder.
Does updating to onion give more games? And if so how to do it? Also will the card it came with be enough storage for it?
hi, does this have the game Breath of Fire 2? thanks for the vid.
Just out of curiosity can you also play Wii games? The only games I’ve ever wanted to play for Wii are Pandora Tower, The Last Story and Fragile Dreams. I don’t think it will work with that device, but would it be possible to?
I’m afraid the Miyoo Mini Plus is not powerful enough to play Wii games. You’ll probably have to spend around $150+ for a handheld that can.
Hey!!
Are these full games or just like a partial kind of thing?
They are the original full games.
Retroid Pocket 2 came included with tons of games but some I had to download myself(ps1 and N64 mostly) via their own rom market. Unoftunately then the market stopped working and I am not sure they are still including games.
No the 2s doesn't come with any included games downloaded. I just watched a video on that very thing.
Curious, did you see ''uniracers' in the snes section?
I have just ordered one with 128gb and 25k games, but I’m not sure if it holds its promise 😂
Same but 64gb
How much storage space is your device using (memory card)? Is it 128, 64 or 32?
This is a 64GB storage card in the video. If you don’t play CD games then that’s enough, otherwise if you are a Sega CD or PlayStation 1 fan then consider a 256GB card.
So, if you order the version without sd card , you don’t get any games/rom, do you?
Are all the Pokémon games on here that can be played? Up to GBA?
How many mario games come installed?

It is possible to add Game & Watch games to Retroarch. Try to research the Handheld Electronic (GW) core.
Question: is golden sun the lost age included?
I only see Golden Sun 1 in the GBA folder

Everyone is wondering this. The 64GB comes 97% full, so maybe. Not sure though. Someone with a 128GB would be able to answer.

There are no mario games in 128gb version too 😂
Hello sir, does this retro console comes w/ classic mario games?
No Mario games are included with this console! You will have to load them onto the micro SD card yourself.
Im not tech savvy . How do I load the mario games to the sd card. I have the 128gb version no mario found
I’ve just made videos on how to do this for NES or SNES games.
Isn't Tomba 2 on it ?
Resident Evil 1 and 3 but not 2, wtf.
and how much is in retroarch?
They will be the same games as the handheld always uses RetroArch.

Just press the middle menu button and you can save and load from there. Also if you exit a game, it saves automatically.

Mario is not available out of the box.

Yes!

It’s possible to buy a more expensive version with a bigger storage card.
