Bypass Microsoft Account Sign-in and Setup Windows 11 without Internet

- Are you setting up Windows 11 for the first time? Do you want to skip the Microsoft Account login or Microsoft Account Creation section of the Windows 11 Setup? Would you prefer to have a local account instead of a Microsoft Account set up on your Windows 11? Do you need to finish the Windows 11 Setup and you do not have access to Internet?
If you you said yes to any of those and you would like to see how to create a local account instead of a Microsoft Account for your Windows 11 machine, then I will show you how. We will walk through ever step of the process, so that you can see what to do in order to get Windows 11 working without problems and without a Microsoft Account.
Having a Microsoft Account connected to your Windows 11 does allow your information to be backed up via the OneDrive service, resetting your password via the web, and integration features. However, some users may prefer to have a local account that does not have all their information stored in the cloud or potentially opening their machine up to be compromised. Either way, you can bypass the Microsoft Account setup in Windows 11 or continue to set it up, so that the Windows 11 will work best for you.
If any of you happen to be computer techs, this will allow you to continue setting up the computer for somebody that may not be available. Maybe you do not have their Microsoft Account information easily available or you are not able to connect the computer to the Internet at the moment. By the steps outlined in this video, you will be able to get your Windows 11 up and running for anybody who needs it.

I used a Dell Precision M6800 running Windows 11 to create the video.
If you encounter any problems or have any questions, please let me know in the comments and I will be glad to help you fix them. Thanks!

I was already connected to wifi. Shift+F10 worked and I rebooted but it wasn't allowing me to bypass the sign-in screen. I had to turn off the router for it to make that option available. You're my hero! F MS!!! xD
Glad to hear that this worked for you and you were able to bypass the Microsoft Sign-in screen after turning off your router! Thanks so much for your support 🙂
Holy moly. I had wasted roughly half an hour to find a way to bypass the stupid ms account until I found your video. Thank you!
It's my pleasure. Glad I could help 😊
Just had the update drop on a laptop I want to sell and could not escape the sign-in screen. I ALT-CTRL-DEL, sign out, back in, skips that screen and immediately follow "above" instructions (From command prompt point -running as admin). Restarted its self, finished updates, straight to desktop with 0 issues.
10 points for this guy in the tech tip world!
Thanks so much! Glad it helped you 😉
Thank you so much . I had trouble doing this because I had already signed into my Wi-Fi but I Unplug the modem and was able to do everything as explained in the video
This video was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't find my notes from a few years ago when I got a new computer. Thank you!!
I'm really glad that this helped you! It's my pleasure 🙂
Worked for me on Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15AMN7 windows 11
Thank you very much👊
It’s easy on desktop just leave network cable unplugged done that many times👍
That's great! I'm glad to hear that it worked for you!
It's my pleasure 🙂
Some Laptops dont work unless you hold FN first then press down SHIFT+F10. Also, If you have already entered wifi info it will save, so you will have to enter ipconfig /release into cmd prompt.
Thank you. This was the problem I was having
thank you . I was going crazy here
I just turned airplane mode on lol
That works also. Thanks for the suggestion!
Yes. Thank you so much for the suggestions!!! I really appreciate you sharing this with everybody!
Thank you so much. This is the way the setup should be. I shouldn't be forced to create an account if I don't want to. Only addition, I also had to press the Fn key as well.
I couldnt get this to work because I had my ethernet plugged in. Unplugged that and it worked great! Thank you.
That's great! Glad that worked for you 😊
Very useful. Thank you. 👍🏼
It's my pleasure. Glad it helped you 😊
Yeah, because I’d gone past the network (joined Wi-Fi) it put me right back at the Microsoft login. Found another video where the guy had us type ncpa.cpl at the command prompt and disable the network adapter and then do the command to bypass
I am glad that you were able to bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in 🙂
this worked, then i disabled my network before hand and the network screen popped up and i was able to start without having a network.
Thank you! Bypassnro and releasing the ipconfig worked a charm.
Awesome! I am glad to hear that this worked for you 🙂
I was trying the command and wasn't until I watched this and heard you say BACKslash I realized I was typing the wrong cmd in, lol. Thank you sir!
I also have to pay close attention to the forward slashes (/) and back slashes (\); not sure why Microsoft likes to change them up 😂 I'm glad that this helped you 😊
Real hero
Thanks bud, got lucky and it still worked for me. Now i can set up the girlfriends birthday present and she doesn't have to wait for updates when i give it to her.
Awesome! So glad to hear that it worked for you!
You, sir, are living proof that not all heroes wear capes!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you 🙂
Thank you so much! I appreciate you 🙂
Hi, many thanks and cheers from Brisbane Australia.
Hi and thank you for great and very helpful videos, you show and explain steps in an easy way to understand on how to and why you are doing it, as I say! sometimes, A single Word is worth a Thousand images! Thanks again, keep up the great video's on Windows 11
I appreciate you and thanks for your support 😊
For those saying shift fn f10 does not work on a laptop it’s most likely in “s mode” This is why cmd won’t come up. Took mine out of s mode, then could get cmd. Watched another video which did ipconfig /release and it worked for me.
Thanks for sharing with everybody! I am glad to hear that the ipconfig /release as well as taking the Windows 11 out of S mode fixed the problem for you. I will be making a video outlining this for everybody. Thanks again 🙂
Does this work for win 10?
Super helpful!! I had to hold fn+shift+f10 but otherwise followed the video exactly.
Hello thank you very much for this video.
I just bought a HP computer from Walmart it's one of the cheapest ones but it's right out of the box today. I haven't used a nonapple product in over 10 years. So I'm unfamiliar with this.
I had already connected to the internet so I turned off the power to my modem/router and it brought me back to the "let's get you connected to a network" screen. I tried all of the different combinations you said, I looked through even single one of your comments and none of them worked to restart/reboot Microsoft 11.
So then I tried the shift+f10 and fn+shift+f10 and neither of those worked to bring up the command prompt in order to even attempt the command.
So none of these codes are working for me. Just wondering if you have anything else possible for me and other people who these aren't working for to try.
Again thank you very much for your time and effort in all that you do!
I'm sorry to hear that you had problems getting the Command Prompt to open. Here are a couple of suggestions for you.
1. Make sure the Shift+F10 or fn+Shift+F10 keys are all being held down at the same time.
2. Try using Windows+X key to see if that brings up the Command Prompt.
3. If you are able to get the Command Prompt to open: After you have entered oobe\bypassnro and the Windows 11 Setup restarts, then re-open the Command Prompt and type in "ipconfig /release" without the quotes. Then close Command Prompt and try to skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in.
4. Continue with the Microsoft Account sign-in. Enter no@thankyou.com a couple of times for the email address along with a random password (one you don't normal use like abcdefg or something else). After trying a couple of times, it should let you bypass the Microsoft Account sign-in.
I am hoping that one of those options will work for your computer. If it does or doesn't work, please let me know, so I can help you or pass it along to others. Thanks so much 🙂
After setup is complete, can you connect to your microsoft account and keep your local account? that way you use your local login for the computer and local network?
Thank you so much, this works like a charm!
It's my pleasure. So glad it worked for you 🙂
Nice video!!! Very helpful and clear and easy to understand
This is wild, it worked…thank God and thank you 🙏🏼
That's great! I'm glad it worked for you. God bless you 🙂
Awesome thank you for the clear video. Its a pain that you have to do this as I can just thing for home users this must cause such a pain. Keep well.
It's my pleasure. I wish they would give you an option to have an offline account without having to go through all the extra steps also. I am glad that this helped you skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in 🙂
Once again you made it sooo easy. Thanks very much!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you 🙂
Hey I live in England UK and I just brought a hp laptop i7. I do not have a mircosoft account and dont want one lol. This worked for me but I had to turn off my internet because I already connected to it. Thanks for your help. We shouldnt be forced to sign in or create an account for everything
Hey! Thanks so much for your support 😀 I am glad to hear that you were able to bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in for Windows 11. I wish that they gave you the option to bypass it without having to perform all of the extra steps also. I am glad you are up and running 😉
This doesn't work anymore, even after OOBE and reboot it will still want a Microsoft account...
Hey @thbadmin7751. When I performed the oobe command it was on a fresh install of Windows 11 that I had just downloaded from the Microsoft website. I used command (oobe\bypassnro) without the parentheses. Did that command work for you? Did you try with no spaces and all one word? What does your computer say when you try the command?
Please let me know as I will be glad to help.
Best tutorial video ever very good explaination all worked well thanks
I first on my Lenovo did not let go thru by then the second time i put any email and any pass and let went into the finishing
I am glad to hear that you were able to bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in. If you need any other help, please let me know and I will be glad to help you.
I cannot get the command prompt to boot up. I have tried Shirt + F10, and also FN + Shift + F10 and all of the combinations of them. Any solution?
If Shift + F10 is not opening the Command Prompt in the Windows 11 Setup, then try the following key combinations.
Win + F10
Win + Shift + F10
Shift + F10
Fn + Shift + F10
Alt + F10
Ctrl + Shift + F10
Sometimes you also have to press and hold the keys for a couple of seconds for the Command Prompt to appear.
Most likely one of those will open the Command Prompt in the Windows 11 Setup. If it does not, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
Please explain how to back up to the beginning of this process...i didn't find your video until i had already accessed the network. I cannot get back to that step. My laptop does not have a physical switch to turn off the wi-fi.
I will be glad to create a video showing you how to do that.
In the meantime, if you have already connected to the Internet, you can follow these steps to turn the Internet off temporarily.
1. Make sure you have pressed Shift+F10, typed in oobe\bypassnro, and pressed enter.
2. When the Windows Setup comes back up, press Shift+F10 again to bring up the command prompt.
3. Type in "ipconfig /release" without the quotes. This will release your IP Address.
4. Close Command Prompt and continue with the Windows 11 Setup.
It should now allow for you to bypass the Microsoft Account creation.
I hope that helps. If you need anything else, please let me know and I will be glad to help. 🙂
Thank you so much for this information. Great video - followed your advice and worked perfectly for me.
It's my pleasure. I am glad that this helped you 🙂
I tried shift+f10 and fn+shift+f10 and still couldn’t get to command prompt.?
If Shift + F10 is not opening the Command Prompt in the Windows 11 Setup, then try the following key combinations.
Win + F10
Win + Shift + F10
Shift + F10
Fn + Shift + F10
Alt + F10
Ctrl + Shift + F10
Sometimes you also have to press and hold the keys for a couple of seconds for the Command Prompt to appear.
Most likely one of those will open the Command Prompt in the Windows 11 Setup. If it does not, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
Hi i have the newest laptop 6 for business and that doesnt work.... im not getting the i dont have internet button after i enter the command.
I didn't know if the Command Prompt opened and allowed for you to use the oobe\bypassnro command. If you were unable to open the Command Prompt with Shift + F10, then try the following key commands and see if one of them will open the Command Prompt for you.
Win + F10
Win + Shift + F10
Shift + F10
Fn + Shift + F10
Alt + F10
Ctrl + Shift + F10
Sometimes you also have to press and hold the keys for a couple of seconds for the Command Prompt to appear.
If the Command Prompt did open, you entered the oobe\bypassnro command, and the setup restarted, then it should give you the "I do not have Internet" or "Limited Setup" option. If that option is not appearing, try going back in the Setup as far as it will allow, press Shift + F10 again (to open the Command Prompt), and enter "ipconfig /release" without the quotes and press Enter. Now close the Command Prompt and try continuing with the setup to see if the No Internet option shows up.
If it is still not allowing for you to tell the Setup that you do not have Internet, I have uploaded a new method for bypassing the Microsoft Account Sign-in. Here is a link that video, th-cam.com/video/dG9Rh6l4W20/w-d-xo.html.
If you are still having problems, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
They patched this out and it doesn’t work on some models
If you are having problems with certain models, please let me know and I will be glad to help you. All the computers that I have used this on have worked and I have been able to bypass the Microsoft Account.
@@IT101 doing a brand new Lenovo and it won't bring up the command prompt window
On certain computers, you have to press a function key (sometimes labeled fn) along with Shift and F10. This will allow the Windows 11 Setup to bring up the Command Prompt. Hope that helps 😊
@@IT101no it doesn’t help. The command prompt still came up, but the bypass did not work!
@@de-ziner9721 you need to disconnect from the Ethernet, cuz I had same issue
Um, this did not work at all, I put in the command, when it restarted took me straight back to sign-in. I'm in Windows 11 home.
It is possible that the Internet is still turned on for your Windows 11 Setup. I just did a clean install of the newest Windows 11 Home ISO and the oobe\bypassnro is still working.
Try these steps to turn off your Internet and see if you can bypass the Microsoft Account sign-in.
After you enter OOBE\BYPASSNRO and press Enter, the Windows 11 Setup will restart. Then you can press Shift+F10 again to bring up the Command Prompt. Enter "ipconfig /release" without the quotes and press Enter. Now close the Command Prompt Window and continue with the Windows 11 Setup as normal. Now you should be able to bypass the Internet requirement.
Let me know if you still have problems with this and I will be glad to help you 🙂
Still works in July of 2024. Thanks!
Glad it worked for you! It's my pleasure 🙂
This is brilliant. Saved me some time!
Thanks so much! I'm glad this helped you 🙂
What a time to come across this video, thank you very much, it was so helpful
It's my pleasure. Glad I could help 🙂
This is a big game changer. Thank you!

I'm so glad it helped! Thanks so much for subbing!
@@IT101 i have to say - in the end i decided to open a micro-soft account because i wanted windows 11 to be activated and i wanted to download software from microsoft's site without a hassle. i dont do anything nefarious on my computer so i have nothing to hide.
Hello buddy.. Thanks so much for uploading this video. It really helped me to start Windows 11 setup without login to MS account. I have a question for you. I'm trying to install Win 10 on HP 240 G8 since is working so badly with Win11. When I try this, there's an error message which says that "my Disk Drive is locked. Please unlock and try again".. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks!!!
Hey Raul. This is the easiest way that I have found to fix the Disk Drive being locked by performing the steps below.
Step 1: Boot to the Windows 10 CD/DVD/USB Flash Drive.
Step 2: In the Windows 10 Startup window, select your language preference and click Next.
Step 3: Open the Command Prompt by pressing Shift + F10.
Step 4: When the Command Prompt appears, type in command a (below) followed by Enter, then type in command b (below) followed by Enter, and then command c (below) followed by Enter.
a. bootrec /FixMbr
b. bootrec /FixBoot
c. bootrec /RebuildBcd
After you have ran all of the bootrec commands and they have successfully completed, restart your computer, boot to your Windows 10 CD/DVD/USB Flash Drive and try installing Windows 10 again. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any problems and I will be glad to help 😊
@@IT101 Hello and Happy Friday. Thanks so much for taking the time to review the same and provide the suggested steps to perform in my computer. Unfortunately reviewing among other videos in TH-cam, I realized that the Hard Drive is corrupted. For some reason, when I rebooted the computer, USB flash option boot is not available from the Boot menu but when I go through the BIOS system, USB option is enabled and when I tried to boot from the flash drive, the computer does not respond as expected. So I'm going to replace the drive for another one and let's see what's going on.
Excellent, thanks very much. Just to get rid of Edge now!
It's my pleasure. I'll be glad to make a video on removing Edge for you also 😉

What if u already Are connected to WiFi how can i go back
I made that mistake. Had to reinstall Win 11 then followed his instructions.
Let me know if you have any problems with continuing the Windows 11 Setup and I will be glad to help 🙂
I just disconnected and it rebooted and started set up again, if not just hit reset.
Thank you man, you're a hero ❤
Great tutorial, can you put the cmd prompt in the description, so we can copy and paste it?
Thanks for the suggestion. I put the command prompt command in the video description. Let me know if I can help with anything else 😉

Thank you for this fun effective video that led me to success! It was so easy I am laughing.
I'm glad this helped you 🙂
thanks for the video, shift F10 didn't works on my laptop. fuck this microsoft forced shit, I'm just gona start using linux on my next computer.
On some computers you have to hold down the Fn key as well as the Shift and F10 keys. Let me know if you are still having problems; I'll be glad to help you 😉
After this command I’m now stuck in a setup boot loop. The pc boot looped and forced me to sign in again
If you are running Windows 11 Pro, Pro for Workstations, Enterprise, or Educational versions, then you can watch this video (th-cam.com/video/dG9Rh6l4W20/w-d-xo.html) to see how to skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in a different way.
If you are running Windows 11 Home, it should allow you to bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in by putting in oobe\bypassnro. If it is not working, make sure you have the Internet turned off (or have your computer disconnected from the Internet - by re-opening command prompt once the computer restarts and type in "ipconfig /release" and then close the command prompt) and then try to skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in window.
If you still have problems, let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
This does not seem to work on either Windows 11 Enterprise or Microsoft Surface devices. I do IT for my company and just got done fighting this battle on a Surface Pro 5 Laptop running Win 11 Enterprise. Its as if it is designed to purposely connect to either a school or work domain. The only solution I had was to log via my o365 account. Create a local admin account and then remove my o365 off the activation. That let me then join to our domain. It is just weird because we have devices running Win 11 Pro and whenever I reset them, I get the option at start up screen to by pass all this.
Thanks so much for this feedback. I have noticed that recently the new computers are requiring the same steps you mentioned.
They require that you create/login to a Microsoft account in the Windows 11 Setup. After the setup is finished you can create a local administrator account. Then you can logout of your Microsoft Account from the Settings, logout of the current user account, and login as the newly created local administrator account. Then you can delete the other account from the computer and have one account that is a Local Administrator account on the computer (and it won't be tied to Microsoft). You can also connect it to your local Domain if you prefer.
Thanks again for the feedback! I'll pass it along and create a video showing these steps.
@@IT101 Yeah I'm still not sure if this is a Win 11 Enterprise thing only or a Windows Surface thing. I am scratching my head over it because we mainly deploy Dell XPS devices in our office running Win 11 Pro. Whenever I've had to reset or image them back to factory, it always gives me the option to skip Microsoft sign in prompts. Also I should note that on the Surface, disabled the network adapter in BIOS and that oobe\ command still did not allow a bypass.
Thanks so much , worked on my new pc
It's my pleasure. I'm glad to hear it is working for you! 🙂
Can you help me im on a dell latitude 5400 and the bypass didn't work
I have had a few people mention that it does not work for them but then realized that the WiFi/Internet was still connected. I would double check that first. If it is still connected and you want to disconnect it easily, here are those steps.
1. After the setup restarts from using the oobe\bypassnro command, then open command prompt again by pressing Shift+F10 one more time.
2. Type in "ipconfig /release" without the quotes and press Enter.
3. Close Command Prompt.
Now you should be able to continue with the setup and bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in.
If that still does not fix it for you, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
shift - f10 doesn't work ... wonder is it legal to force users to use ms account ?!
I'm sorry to hear that you had problems with getting the Command Prompt to open. You might need to try FN+Shift+F10 on your computer in order to get the Command Prompt to open correctly. If you are not able to get it to work with that key combination, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
Absolute legend, thanks!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you 🙂
You are a masterpiece sir! Thank You!
It's my pleasure. Glad it helped you 🙂
You just nailed it, thanks!
Thanks so much! It's my pleasure 🙂
i tried it but it still came up asking me to sign in :(
I think the problem is i already gave it my internet then realized it wanted me to sign in. Then i looked this up and tried it. when it reboots it doesn't ask for the internet it just goes straight to "how would you like to set up this device" followed by ms sign in prompt. oh well
If your computer is already connected to the Internet, I can help with that. Once you enter "oobe\bypassnro" into the Command Prompt and press Enter, the Windows 11 Setup will restart. Now press Shift+F10 to open the Command Prompt again, enter "ipconfig /release", and press Enter. Now you can close the Command Prompt and continue with the Windows 11 Setup. At this point it should allow you to skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in.
If you do encounter any problems or have any questions, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
This worked for me but it never disconnected from my WiFi. It just skipped the sign in step. Thanks for the help
Great! I am so glad to hear that!
Very useful. Thank you.
I'm glad this helped you! It's my pleasure 🙂
what do i do if my pc doesnt let me put a backslash in it changes it to a # or *
It sounds like either the keyboard is not working or the keyboard layout that was selected when the Windows 11 Setup first came on the screen is not allowing the backslash (\) to be selected. I would recommend trying a different keyboard to see if that resolves the problem. I would also recommend trying a different keyboard layout to see if that fixes it for you.
I hope that helps you. If you still have problems, please let me know and I will be glad to help 😊
This actually works thank you very much
It's my pleasure 🙂
Worked great! Lifesaver.
Awesome! I am so glad to hear that worked for you! 🙂
excellent instructions. Thank you
Thanks so much! It's my pleasure 😊
Thank you! It worked perfectly!
It's my pleasure 😊 Glad it worked for you.
Thanks for this -- but I connected to web and it wont unconnect.
After you open Command Prompt (with Shift+F10) and enter "oobe\bypassnro" the Windows 11 Setup will restart. When the setup comes back up, open command prompt (by pressing Shift+F10) and then enter "ipconfig /release" and press Enter. This should disconnect your computer from the Internet. Now you can close the Command Prompt and continue the Windows 11 Setup. You should be able to bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in as shown in the video.
If you do have any problems, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
So clutch, thanks bro 👍🏾
It's my pleasure 🙂
oh no, will it still work if i already connected to the internet? made an oopsie
You can still follow these steps; however, I would recommend disconnecting your computer from the Internet. If your computer is connected to the Internet with an Ethernet cable, I would recommend disconnecting the cable from your computer. If it is connected to the wireless Internet, I would recommend disconnecting it from the wireless network (maybe even turning off your wireless router just to make sure). Then all of the other steps should work without problems.
Let me know if you do have problems and I will be glad to help 😊
Worked like a charm, thankyou
It's my pleasure 😊 So glad to hear it worked for you!
Worked a treat, thanks
It's my pleasure 🙂 Glad that it worked for you!
Tried this today and apparently it no longer works
Sometimes you have to hold down the fn (a.k.a. Function key) along with the Shift + F10 key in order to get the Command Prompt to open. If that doesn't work, please let me know and I will be glad to provide additional setup options.
@@IT101Thanks! It works for me today.
Great! I'm glad to hear that 🙂
@@IT101 I hope that Microsoft will let this loophole available for the rest of the Windows 11 versions. I still prefer the local account for technical reasons.
Do you have to input a password?
When you are creating the local account on Windows 11, you will need to create a password. I usually make up a password that is very easy for me to remember. I hope that helped. Let me know if you need help with anything else 🙂
Excellent! Thanks!
It's my pleasure 🙂
Thanks man! Its works for me!!
Great! I'm glad to hear that! 🙂
Does not work. The Shift F10 is disabled on the newer laptops at this point
I'm sorry to hear that you had problems getting the Command Prompt to open by using Shift+F10. Here are a couple of suggestions for you.
Some computers require that you press fn+Shift+F10 in order to get the Command Prompt to open. I would try that and see if the Command Prompt opens with those keys also.
If it is still trying to get you to sign-in to a Microsoft Account, then try entering a@a.com for the email address. Keeping trying to Login with that email address along with a random password and see if you can bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in.
If neither one of those options worked for you, then you might have purchased a computer that has S mode enabled. In order to remove Windows 11 S Mode, you will need to go ahead and login with a Microsoft Account. Then you can click on Start, Open Settings, click on Update & Security, click on Activation, Find the Switch to Windows 11 Home or Pro Section, and click Switch Out of S Mode.
If you ended up logging in with a Microsoft Account for the Windows 11 Setup, you can remove it once inside of Windows 11 by following these steps. Right click on the Start button and click on Computer Management. Click on Local Users and Groups and click on Users. Right click in the white space on the right side of the window, click on New -> User, and enter the information for the user you want to create. Right click on the newly created user and click Properties. Click on "Member of" Tab, click on Add, type in "Administrators", click OK, click Apply, and then click OK.
Now you can click on Start, click on Settings, click on Accounts, and click on Your info. Now you will see a "Sign out" button, go ahead and click on it. Follows the steps to log out of your account. Now you can log out of the current account and login to the new account on your computer. You can also delete the other account from your computer in Computer Management and Users and Groups if it is still showing up.
Please let me know if you still have problems and I will be glad to help 🙂
thanks, such a pain, this really helped me out
It's my pleasure. I am glad this helped you out 🙂
Hello. This methot not helped me(. I try all method wich shown on TH-cam but no reseults.
I'm sorry that this did not work for you. I do have a few questions for you.
1. What make/model of computer are you using?
2. Was it disconnected from the Internet when you performed the steps?
3. Did the computer restart after you entered the Command Prompt command?
If you have a few moments to let me know those answers, I will be glad to help you get the Windows 11 Local Account set up on your computer 😊
you are great man. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I'm glad I could help you 🙂
Amazing thank you

Now it says the user name cannot be same as PC name😭
I have a way around that. Go ahead and create a "Temp" user when setting up Windows 11. Name the computer the correct name. After it boots into Windows, right click on the Start button and click on Computer Management. On the left side of the window, click on Local Users and Groups. Then click on Users. On the right side of the window (in the white space) right click and then click on New User. Now you can create a new user account with the same name as the computer. After you have logged into the newly created user account, you can go back into Computer Management and delete the "Temp" user.
I hope that helped. Let me know if you need any more help 🙂
Thank you for the help.
It's my pleasure. I'm really glad this helped you skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in 🙂

It doesn’t show the “I don’t have internet” option
Did the Windows 11 Setup restart when you typed in oobe\bypassnro into the Command Prompt? When the Windows 11 Setup came back up were you disconnected from the Internet?
If you are still having problems with this, please let me know and I will be glad to help 🙂
It doesn’t work, I don’t see that option “I don’t have internet”
I'm sorry to hear that you had problems getting the "I don't have Internet" option to show up. Here are a couple of suggestions for you.
If you are able to get the Command Prompt to open by using Shift+F10: After you have entered oobe\bypassnro and the Windows 11 Setup restarts, then re-open the Command Prompt (by pressing Shift+F10) and type in "ipconfig /release" without the quotes. Then close Command Prompt and try to skip the Microsoft Account Sign-in.
If it is still trying to get you to sign-in to a Microsoft Account, then try entering a@a.com for the email address. Keeping trying to Login with that email address along with a random password and see if you can bypass the Microsoft Account Sign-in.
If all else fails, you can login with a Microsoft Account that you have. Once inside of Windows 11, right click on the Start button and click on Computer Management.
You can also delete the other account from your computer in Users and Groups under Computer Management if it is still showing up.
Please let me know if you still have problems and I will be glad to help 🙂
