Being greeted at the car door by a ground hornbill in Mana's Main Camp (Mana Pools, Zambezi river, Zimbabwe) was quite something. This was some years ago.
Thank you so much. This has been such a pleasure to watch. So professional and a pleasure at every level. I am also enjoying your bird videos. A wonderful way to test my own knowledge.
Wonderful Kruger series Richard! I am headed there in September for my first self-drive in the southern part (Satara, Berg en dal, lower Sabie). Any suggestions for good places to stop for kingfishers? What is your camera system? Many thanks and keep them coming. Cliff
Thank you so much! Kingfishers can be seen all over the park in the different environments, I would say the best places to look are the quiet areas close to water on the dirt roads between skukuza and lower Sabie. I use a canon mirrorless system. I hope you have an awesome trip that is very exciting!
Richard, what is the bird you can hear quite often in background. Hear it during the White backed Vulture. I hear it in all other South African videos too. Thx
@@RichardvanHaght Hi again, sorry listened to it and that is not the bird I keep hearing in your videos. It was especially clear in Part 3 on the piece with the White Backed Eagle. Thx again.
Thank you so much really enjoyed the 3 part series of Kruger
