what id give to be where you are right this moment... the sights, the
scenery and the mountain/farm air... i grew up on my grandads farm in
nueva ecija and my dearest memories are waking up early to open the
chicken coops and let the goats graze... the smell isnt the most
pleasant but it just smells so much of home and i miss it so much.
I can just imagine the serenity and peacefulness of that place. Its a dream holiday place or even a retirement place!
I REALY LOVE THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION. THE HOME OF MY FATHER & MY MOTHER. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE MORNING WHEN THE SUN RISES.

I've been there in La Union in the beach house of Senator Aspiras , that was long time ago , my father in law works for the Dept of Public Highways as the chief and we spent our holy week there, nice place to be

Hi Mike & Nelly nice & quiet place but is far from the civilization what I mean no neighbours around it's not safe, no house near you if you need some help it's difficult especially you're foreigner and you don't know the place that long. You have to consider if their's a typhoon, if the place is safe for flooding not in the higher site. Be careful and search more places in La Union land that you can put or build your dream house in your dream place. Take care, be careful, stay safe n healthy. One of your reader n a fan from UK. God Bless...🙏 Hopefully if I can come back to the Philippines next year and the situation is ok and their's know problem travelling can n will see and meet you two plus Lucy n George.
How close is the nearest hospital in case of emergency is also something to really consider also Mike & Nelly.

That's right.. La Union is a beautiful place. A lot of tourist spot as well. You can hike too, you can see a lot of falls and most especially beautiful beaches.. I am from Balaoan, La Union..
Bahay Kubo houses were the usual dwelling of Filipinos before the foreign invasions. They were still plenty of bahay kubo houses before WWII.
