Caliraya Lake is a very peaceful place, a good escapade from the buzzling city life. FYI, Lake Caliraya is an Artificial Lake created sometime 1939. And the famous American Movie "Apocalypse Now" starring Marlon Brando and Harrison Ford was shot in that place and it's surrounding vicinities. BTW, most probably you passed by the municipality of Pagsanjan, why not try the tourist attraction called "Shooting the Rapids", wherein you ride a boat paddling to Pangsajan Falls thru the Rapids. It would really be fun and wet experience.

Not Pagsanjan Falls. It's now Cavinti Falls/Magdapio Falls as we call it. Our current administration won over pagsanjan as it was and it is located in Cavinti :)

Wow every time u2 travels u always witnessed a amazing scenery like that sunset to ur left nigth clouds of thunder to ur right and in the middle sky u have the moon and colorful sky and down a calm water of caliraya lake.. It is priceless.
Thankful for this couple they are foreigner but they love much our people and the community. Our Country as it is.
It's a good to have you than to our own Senator's, Congressmen, Olegarts and all negative people who dont know how to love there's Countrymen.

I guessed correctly yesterday in the other video, Caliraya lake! The view is truly awesome. Love that shot in the floating cottage, great sunset! There are also lots of mobile coffee vendors in Marilaque! 🛵

Nice. Laguna is the best province in Calabarzon or maybe Luzon minus the beaches. Heheheh...LAGUNA - LAGing UNA..Always First!!! Next you should circumnavigate Laguna lake. Must visit!!! Old churches of Laguna (Pakil, Paete, Magdalena, Majayjay, Liliw, Nagcarlan, Pila), Handicrafts of Laguna (Paete's woodcarvings, Lumban's formal wear barong, Liliw's tsinelas, etc). Lakes of Laguna (camping in Caliraya lake ...DONE...and Lumot lake and see seven lakes of San Pablo), Waterfalls of Laguna (Hulugan, Talay and Hidden falls in Luisiana, Taytay falls in Majayjay, Ambon ambon and Buntot palos falls in Pangil, Cavinti falls, Cansuso falls, etc), Mount Makiling Jamboree site and Mount Banahaw, Hot spring resorts (Los Banos and Pansol), Jose Rizal's ancestral house in Calamba. Then proceed to Nuvali and Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa. At least spend 1 week in Laguna. Hehehe..

I love that the background is so quiet that you can hear the lizard sound. So peaceful.
I guessed it right, you are off to Lake Caliraya!! I remember the first time my dad took us there. It was still an undiscovered tourist spot back then and only one resort existed. But that is what I love about it the most, newly undiscovered places because it gives me a feeling of tranquility and peacefulness. I haven’t been there for a long time since it started to become a famous tourist spot because we find it too crowded already. But seeing your vlog sure brings back a lot of happy family vacations that we spent there.
I've been there last 2019 and I could definitely say that it really is a beautiful place.
Every town in eastern side of Laguna is worth a visit

our getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city... and take note tilapia in lumot lake is one of the best...
and FYI Lumot and Caliraya lake are both man made lake...

In 1953, it was repaired and inaugurated by the National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR), a Philippine government-owned and controlled corporation. Just another trivia for you guys, lol!

Ate and Kuya Caliraya and Lumot Lake are the best spots for a quick rest and relax. My family often go for a quick stay there. Hope you enjoy

@Making it happen Vlog - *Mike and Nelly, I love the fact that the jars of coffee beans have BAYBAYIN written on them. It's one of many old Filipino written scripts. Baybayin is primarily used by ancient Tagalogs. At **2:03** of the video, the five symbols on top of the jars say "KAPE NATIN" which translates to OUR COFFEE.*
Caliraya Lake is what i've been telling you must go.. its a lake on top of the mountain..and seems like in the sky because of its elevation..overviewing Laguna de Bay...there is also a Japanese park nearby..where ww2 japanese soldiers tomb are burried..

That epic sunset, clouds and lightning look so stunning and calming! You guys should visit the Japanese Garden along Lake Caliraya since you're already there in Cavinti, Laguna. It's a beautiful memorial park built in 1970s by the Japanese government to commemorate the Japanese soldiers who died during World War 2. The garden was built as a memorial & a symbol of friendship of the Japanese to the Filipinos. Please check it out, it's a beautiful & serene place!😊

Great day Nely...I am requesting you to make a vlog featuring the brick street of Liliw, Laguna this street is literałly paved with red brick, a 1 hour drive from Lake Caliraya in Cavinti, Laguna.. In this town you can see the majestic and stunning brick street leading to the famous centuries old red brick of Saint John the Baptist Parish...

You're in my laidback hometown of Cavinti.Since you are there don't forget to rent an island Yes! that's right a whole Island for yourself guys in Lake Lumot just minutes from Lake Caliraya.Also check out the newly discovered caves and many waterfalls and the World famous Cavinti Falls where you can rappel down next to the Falls. You need a full week to explore the beauty of my hometown Cavinti. Have fun
