    I'm obsessed with my '05 G35 6MT. 120k on the odometer and still a blast to drive. Best car I've ever owned.

      I just hit 80k miles in my '06 G35 sedan w/ the 6MT. The sedan just looks so much better to me than the coupe. I love how ergonomic the interior is, too - the entire instrument cluster moving with the telescopic steering wheel was a great idea from Nissan. It's also one of the best handling sedans I've driven. I put the staggered wheels from the 370Z on my car and then painted them black - it really does look great. So the rear tires are now 265 wide! Handles way better.

    The G35 sedan and coupe use the same suspension design as the 350Z. Basically any suspension component, steering and brakes for the 350Z are direct fit for the G35, except the compression rods. Upgrades are very easy for the G35. Engines are the same. I even have the Z aftermarket Y-pipe and factory midpipe on my sedan.

    I had my G35X until she turned 15 years old. Best car for looks, comfort, racing, and reliability, In the end, I sold her with 115,000 miles. The problems with the camshaft sensor and 6 pack going bad were the only reason I sold it after repairing it. Long live my G. She was a badass.

      I'm thinking of buying one of these. A guy in my area is selling a 03 Sedan for like $3800. How many clicks per tank? All highway driving and barley speeding.

      I have an 04 G sedan and highway driving is very good if you're not on it all the time. I made a 5 hour drive from PA to OC Maryland with a full tank and still had about a quarter tank left when I arrived in OC.

      @drivinivan  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment. I am no amateur when it comes to shooting and editing video. I've been in the business for decades, and I strive to provide the best looking and best edited videos on TH-cam whether it is my Drivin' Ivan car videos, or any of my other music videos, literal video, disc golf videos or documentaries. I know that there are others out there doing car reviews that get more views and subscribers than me, but in most every case, their videos lack basic editing standards with jump cuts and other major blunders throughout. Thanks for noticing and please watch all of my videos and subscribe and share! Drivin' Ivan

    I still have my 03 G sedan. 260 HP at only 3,350 lbs is no joke. 15 years old and will still stomp out a lot of newer cars today especially being that a lot of them now have weed wacker engines because of the huge emphasis on fuel economy.

    Great used car for the money. Very fun to drive and handles very well. Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 2003. This is a 1st generation G35 built from 2003-2006. Please update your information. 2nd generation g35s were made in 2007-2008 with a different body styling and interior. You have a rare Caribbean Blue color also. It's a very hard color to find. Lots of aftermarket parts and aero kits. Check out g35driver for fellow enthusiasts. Nice review by the way.

    2003-04 were the same. 05-06 sedans, while they share the same FM platform, the suspension was reworked and it got a much better engine, straight from the coupe while the manual received the rev up engine that was even better. Just FYI.
    The 07+ sedans were even faster, handled better, better looking IMO and had a higher level of refinement. Exactly what the car needed. Also, the issues that were associated with the first gen sedans were finally solved like oil consumption and the weak manual transmission and terrible factory brakes that wore out constantly.
    People looking at this car should check to make sure it does not consume oil, No front end compression rod clunks, and make sure there isn't a third gear grind with the manual transmission also to make sure the brakes have been redone with aftermarket components.
    I recommend staying away from 05-06 manual sedans. They were equipped with the rev up version of the VQ35DE and had terrible oil consumption. Of course not all were affected.
    Great sedan but as reliable as the rest.

    I own a 2013 G37x Sedan, and I have agree with this reviewer when he says this design ( Interior and exterior ) is actually cleaner and more pure than the G37. I am NOT a fan of the Q50! Infinity completely ruined the steering feel when they changed over to the drive-by-wire system. No thanks !!!

    • @mike_t_007
      @mike_t_007 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that was the beginning of the end...they had a hell of a run during the early 2000s to early 2010-13 era

    • @1970borntorun
      @1970borntorun 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mike_t_007 Right!! A similar situation was with the beginning of the F30 era 3-Series when BMW too, switched to electric steering, softened the suspension, and cheapened the interior materials. In my humble opinion, as much as I loved my G37, you can't really beat an E90-era 3 Series for chassis dynamics and visceral road feel.

    Hi i have a question i want to buy an infiniti g35 the one i saw yesterday has a leak on the valve gasket
    Is a good idea to invest on it?

    • @leo0761
      @leo0761 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      eddgar Garcia It depends on how much you are willing to spend to fix it & whether or not you fix it yourself. Both, my Nissan Altima 3.5SE and Infiniti G37 had gasket leaks. It was around $1k for the dealer to repair the problem on both cars. I don't know how much it would cost you in your area but it should not be more than what I spent. I had driven both cars a while before putting them in the shop, however, the G37 had a little miss, nothing major.

    • @drivinivan
      @drivinivan  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There were so many of them made, plus some of the parts are shared with Nissan products, so it is pretty reasonable to own for a luxury sport sedan. If you go to the islands, or I'm sure some places in South America, you'll see that the G35 is a Nissan badged car there with standard cloth seats.
