Kate's the sweetest farmer on the TH-cam. I haven't farmed in 9years and there's two sounds that I hear in my head everyday and that's the fans on a JD planter and the bin full alarm on a JD combine. That's funny about the car though. And you have so many foreign people watching you, that's so cool. You should have a million subscribers and I pray for the day that you do because you deserve them.
I have found memories of High windy days in Canton,NY, as well as sub below temps down to -36. We still have to work, milk, and feed cows, twice a day, spread manure with the manure spreader, work ok on all the farm gear, and make sure all the lines are protected. Then in the summer is 115 to 130 degrees. Once the weather warms up it s race to get things done between rainy days.

The wind (or as we call it in Wyoming, the “W,” we don’t even like to say the word in fear it will bring it back) has been blowing here for three days now gusting to 94 mph and it’s cold again! A few times I could feel the whole shop rattling yesterday. It sounds like a few semi trucks have blown over on the interstate again. Got the disc all reassembled and ready, just waiting for seed to come in to start planting part of the pasture. Waiting. Have a great day!

Kids in grade school should be shown your channel. In my day they had to take us to the different farms to show us the different types of farming. This is good for people in every age group. Great job.

I was amazed to watch your drill, fold up twice. For a person like me, who in comparison only farms 20 acres, with all old equipment, ie (Jd 3020 tractor, 126 MF small bailed, side delivery rake, an ancient 5 ft. rotary cutter, and a two bottom plow. Your huge equipment fascinates me. Very much enjoy watching you and your Dad. The best to your family.
Hi Kate, you should get your Dad and Darcy to take us on a walk through the old equipment lineup that you passed driving out to install the air cleaner! I saw some "old school" trucks and tractor that would be interesting to know their history on the farm!!

Good to see your Dad, I felt sorry for him when I saw how torn and tattered his jacket was, but my Dad had an old jacket like that I bought him a new one once and he asked me why I did that? and I told him because yours is torn up ! and he said that it was just broke in good Ha Ha. A lot of farmers normally maintain their equipment during the wintertime to get a jump on springtime. I hope for best the you on leveling the drill, because they constantly get knocked out of plum and a pain to repair. I think both your Dad and Austin could careless about the rabbit, because they where hoping not to get blown away placing the Air Intake Turbo booster fastened. OMG!! Thank you for your "windy" narration. We have had a lot of wind up here in Calgary this spring. They can turn off the wind machine and it would be fine with me. . . . don't get blown away. By the way, I used to work part time for another uncle at Flexi-Coil. I worked on a small assembly line making parts for the packer frames. This goes way way back in time. Flexi-Coil was not into making tillage equipment at that time. That came later. Naming the packer, and the resulting company is another story for another time. 😊 Keep focused on your spring planting. It sets the pace for the rest of the year.

Having lived in north central Montana, I can attest that the wind blows. Almost incessantly. Chicago's got nothing on Great Falls. In the south, they call it a hurricane. In Montana, it's just a stiff breeze. From the Rocky Mountain front to the Dakota border is basically East Dakota.
My comment is going to take a different direction this time I like your father's ragged coat! People are always telling me to get a new new coat/jacket, even had some given to me which are still in the closet. I like my ragged coat and pants, no need for a suit and tie lol to go out where no one is and dig in the ground or work on riding lawn mowers. You're lovely Kate.

At least your Prius’s Catalytic Converter was not stolen after it ran away from home…LOL; mine was stolen in Los Angles last year😂. Pretty cool strong wind and farm life, Kate. Thank you for sharing! After i sold my 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid, i bought a used 2008 Prius (3 years ago) just to drive back and forth to buy parts for my other cars. Prius was made in Japan and it lasts forever. I appreciate my Prius more when my other cars break down…LOL

Having lived in north central Montana, I can attest that the wind blows. Almost incessantly. Chicago's got nothing on Great Falls.
In the south, they call it a hurricane. In Montana, it's just a stiff breeze.
From the Rocky Mountain front to the Dakota border is basically East Dakota.

I like your father's ragged coat! People are always telling me to get a new new coat/jacket, even had some given to me which are still in the closet. I like my ragged coat and pants, no need for a suit and tie lol to go out where no one is and dig in the ground or work on riding lawn mowers.

At least your Prius’s Catalytic Converter was not stolen after it ran away from home…LOL; mine was stolen in Los Angles last year😂. Pretty cool strong wind and farm life, Kate. Thank you for sharing! After i sold my 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid, i bought a used 2008 Prius (3 years ago) just to drive back and forth to buy parts for my other cars. Prius was made in Japan and it lasts forever. I appreciate my Prius more when my other cars break down…LOL
