      @@claudiaapril258 i know but they asked her if she wants to change it now and she say yea . Then they are gonna ask her again when she’s older for her final answer to see if she wants the same thing or if she changed her mind .she’s a kid so she wants to be what she wants to be if it makes her happy then it’s what ever . My brother wanted to be a princess until he was like 10 and we let him be a princess . My point is , kids have a wild imagination and they wanna be tons of things when they are little but as soon as they wanna be the opposite gender it’s a problem , so what if they change her birth certificate in the *FUTURE* if she changed her mind she has the right to change it back because it’s HER life and HER decision. Plus it’s not like they’re getting her surgery. They are just asking her questions about her future. That yes she might change but it’s still important to ask questions 🤷

      @Hubert #DEVELOPAR#HVHER no one is teaching HER to be nothing she said that she wanted to be that way on her own she started acting that way on her own they are just supporting her . When she grows up and she wants to be a women then she’d still be a woman if she wants to be a male that that will be what she decides.people don’t wanna actually try and understand where people are coming from witch is why most people hide they’re children because people are so quick to Judge before they know the whole story . … that child Can be whatever they want , they aren’t hurting / harming anyone and they aren’t abusing the child she actually seems really happy .. if they would tell her to not be herself then Shes be upset … also when a kid is 3 or 2 saying they wanna be the opposite gender without you even saying anything about genders that’s when you know they are serious. I wouldn’t change anything legally about her until she’s 18 but she’s free to be / wear what ever she wants up until that point as long as she’s not harming herself or others 🤷

      This is an actual transsexual child. She has been exhibiting symptoms of gender non conformity from age 2-7 that’s 5 years. Clearly it’s not a phase. Like the parents said letting her explore her gender isn’t hurting anyone. If she really is trans, this transition is the healthiest thing for her. If she changes her mind later, no major changes have been made. But if she gets to 12-13 that would mean she’s been saying she’s trans her ENTIRE LIFE and could take the next step in the process. Calling her a fake girl doesn’t negate the fact that there are actual trans people in this world who know from a very young age. At the end of her transition, she will be physically and hormonally a girl. She will have a vagina just like a girl, and by that time will have lived her entire life as a girl. Don’t confuse the trendy teen girls who are changing their pronouns with this child who is an actual medical transexual. People like Ella need treatment. Just like someone with any other condition would seek treatment. Forcing this child to “man up” and not letting her do what comes naturally to her would be wrong and I admire and stand by these parents for their strength and bravery. This was not an easy decision for them. Clearly it was a very serious situation if they have allowed her to live and present in the way that makes her happy.

You can’t medically transition until 18 and your identity is proved by a number of doctor, psychologists and psychiatrists. So if your parents encouraged you, you would probably go by he/him for a while and cut your hair, which would grow back and eventually you’d go back to being a woman and live your life as you’re living it now. Maybe it didn’t apply on you but a big majority of trans children don’t go back to their biological gender. What works for you might not work for her.

      @@meowbuckett Alice Dreger is a bioethicist and professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. She calls herself an (im)patient advocate who prefers evidence to ideology. She is a strong supporter of transgender rights. But she thinks the pendulum has swung too far.
      One reason is that social norms have dramatically changed. It is now fashionable to embrace your diverse child. Parents who encourage their kids to change gender "are socially rewarded as wonderful and accepting," while parents who try to take it slow "are seen as unaccepting, lacking in affection and conservative," she says.
      These days, parents who don't like the slow-and-careful answer can shop for another one. Ms. Dreger is highly critical of what she calls the "hasty clinics," which are happy to help a kid transition right away. "Parents don't like uncertainty," she says. "They'd rather be told, 'Here's the diagnosis, and it's all gonna turn out fine.'" Teenagers can find fast help, too. Plenty of doctors are happy to help them out with hormone treatments just for the asking.

And I also think the mother really wanted a girl at least for her second child. I think she was majorly disappointed in him turning out as a boy, but jumped at the moment he showed a first interest in feminine stuff.
      The way he got overly excited about the pink hair colour in particular raised some red flags. Girls don't normally change their hair colour like that on a whim. It's a very intimate thing for a girl, her hair. Girls don't feel comfortable suddenly popping up all bright pink like that. So there IS something the matter definitely. I don't see true femininity. Also how it use to be more socially acceptable until Christianity came about but even then the original Christianity was more accepting until others started adding there own thoughts and opinions to the Bible to fit there political needs or Belief Systems and those were mostly Royal and Noble families that add stuff that fit what they wanted and messed with our history. And then he would ultimately decide if he really wants to be a girl or remain as a boy. A boy having interests in feminine things doesn't automatically make him a girl. When I was his age, I always like things that are meant for boys because I hang out with my older brother a lot but I still remained as a girl till this day. And what is also hurting her is all these people in the comments denying her the right to be who she is. She is not bothering you in any way and neither are the parents so please let them be. There is no such thing as "being who she is at age 7 and trans". These are your formulating years. You are learning manners, math, how to interact with people and being taught moral lessons. No one is truly who they are until your later teens. Until than, its a journey of learning for formulation. Not getting hooked on who your pressured to be for the sake of attention. Seven is too young, because you will say many things to have that extra attention and to feel special. So now, the child feels that in order to keep feeling this way, they must conform to being trans. Its wrong, it happens all too often. It costs nothing to wait till the later teen years. Do this too soon and you create a crises from which some children never return from.

    Well my 4 year old son likes to paint his nails with my daughter and I, he loves his baby doll, and he likes to pretend to put makeup on like I do. But he also loves Spider-Man, martial arts, and wants to be “cool” like daddy, too. My daughter is a massive tomboy and likes wearing her big brother’s clothes, playing with toys marketed to boys, but also loves pink and babies and “girlie” things. Moral of the story: let kids be kids. They are exploring the world, discovering likes and dislikes, constantly evolving and changing. It would be so easy to latch onto a comment one of my kids have made once or twice and plant seeds in their minds & foster some passing thought. They are getting to know themselves. My kids have learned about their bodies and know their genders according to them. If my son tries on his sister’s dress up clothes he asks me, “do I look like a girl?” I tell him “you look like a boy who is wearing a dress. And some boys wear dresses.” They have no concept of that it means to be masculine or feminine, even if they talk like they do. It boggles my mind how parents can make permanent decisions based on what a child says who barely known the alphabet. They don’t know themselves, but they’re learning. Give them a loving and supportive environment to be able to be themselves, no matter what that means.

My son wanted to play with dolls when he was younger, now he wants to play sports. Kids change and so do adults. Changing your gender is a very big life altering choice that takes time to make. We all have to do what is right by our own children, not what our neighbors or another person who isn’t raising them would think. There are plenty of studies showing the brain is different in these children, that it is not just some phase they go through. Who the hell is anyone else to judge what this family is going through? Who cares what you think, and how does it affect you? We all want the same thing as parents....for our children to live happy successful lives, filled with love and acceptance. There are already several comments on here from people who said they used to think they were a different gender as a child, and they are glad their parents didn’t go thru the process to change their gender because they feel differently as an adult now. This child is way too young to be making such a permanent decision. If they use puberty blockers and the child happens to change their mind later in life, it will be too late.

It’s also to hard and technically he isn’t a girl fully until he gets…. You know…. So he technically can’t be a girl till he is 21 because you can’t get the operation to get …. You know (what all women have between there legs) till your 21 so. There’s no point changing at that age. Because you have to wait anyway to get the operation. So he is still a boy till he is 21 so just wait till you’re 21 because if you wait till you’re 21 you can become the gender fully. It’s like eating half a dish of lasagna and waiting 14 years to eat the other half. Like why can’t you just eat all of it at once.

      there’s no puberty blockers until 13, hormones are given at 17 or 18 and you need recommendation from a therapist, and gender affirmation surgery is given a few years after hormones with recommendation from a therapist and they need to be eligible for it. So yes, you heard it right.

    • @r0sewater_x
      @r0sewater_x 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      exactly what @WhyDidIPickTheName? said! When children transition, it's a change of names, clothes, pronouns. And Hormone blockers are available at 13, and even those are reversable, HRT can be started at 15 in specific circumstances WITH parental consent, psychaiatrist + doctor referrals etc. But it is most often started at 16-18. And then surgeries are not avaliable untili you're an adult UNLESS in some circumstances where your parents give consent nd all of the doctors and psychiatrists etc etc etc.

    • @lemonweirdo
      @lemonweirdo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      yeah. the only changes being made to trans kids transitioning at 7 are their clothes, hair length, and some stuff in their room. you can't even get anything related to hormones until you're 11-13, puberty blockers, and that's completely reversible. you can get hormones at 16, but only if your therapist and parents agree that this is the best choice for you. surgeries are 18+.

    i mean good for her, ya'll comments really being overdramatic bout her not understanding gender and all. Legit it's fine, plus I doubt she's on hormones or anything, and if she was it'd be her choice to take them.

    • @cosmokramer179
      @cosmokramer179 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Kids shouldn’t be making that decision. They can’t determine what they can eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner but yet it’s cool for them to decide what gender they want to be or if they want hormones or be sterilized? If that’s not creepy to you, then you need help

    • @wonton5016
      @wonton5016 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@cosmokramer179 They can only really be on hormones when they go through puberty, not when they're 7 bruh. When you're put on hormones, you don't just magically get them, you have to talk to someone to get them. It isn't like some doctor will see a kid and suddenly put them on irreversible hormone treatment, or sterilize them. It's not that black and white.
      When they're not old enough to get hormone treatment, what's wrong with just, growing your hair out, or wearing feminine clothes? To really be on irreversible treatment, the person would already be at old enough age to know what right and whats not right for them.

    I'm all for trans rights but this is a horrible thing to do. Young children can't understand these type of things. Next they're going to say that since children can apparently consent to this, why aren't they considered mature? You know what's next right? Pedophiles will rationalize that "since children can apparently understand gender and sex, why can't they consent to a relationship?"
    If you're an adult and want to change your gender that's fine. Your body not mine. I'll call you whichever pronouns you want. But children can't comprehend this. Gender to them is playing with action figures vs dolls.
