    Very informative, much appreciated, the Browning B25 design is proven and the best and very strong with one piece hinge pin.
    Out of interest what causes this design to double discharge, my gun is a mechanical trigger.

    Hello! I was wondering if you have any information concerning the replacement of V springs on BC Miroku 12 and 20 bore O/U shotguns. Thank-you, in advance.

    Really enjoyed watching this. Intriguing to see how all the parts function independently and collectively. Thanks for posting 👍As an aside, can you put the entire action into an ultra sonic?

    • @devongunsmith4698

      If you have a big enough ultrasonic cleaner, yes..BUT don’t put it in without stripping it all down!

      My Gunsmithing Journey began in the Engineering industry, time served & City and Guilds (including Cnc setting and Programming)
      Gunsmithing came later in life, and unable to find an apprentice style training for the Gun Trade, I used my transferable engineering skills as a basis. I have been fortunate to have a number of Gunsmiths and Armourers mentor me, specifically one who was until recently, employed by my company, with 60 years gunsmith knowledge, originally of Atkin Grant & Lang.
      Being a man of 75 years, while appearing in some of my TH-cam content, has never craved internet attention. I have to respect his privacy. But I thank him for his experience 👍

    Brilliant video and very informative. One question, why is there no spring on the top firing pin?

    • @devongunsmith4698
      @devongunsmith4698  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The breech clearance is sufficient to not require a pin retraction spring on the upper chamber.
      The lower pin needs to be retracted to stop it catching the breech.

      I wondered why there was no spring on the upper striker ? Excellent video and very informative 🤙

      If it’s a Citori model then there is some adjustment I think. Without having it in my hands I cannot tell you.

    why dont you sepperate the right and left hand parts

    • @devongunsmith4698
      @devongunsmith4698  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t have to separate the left and right hand parts. They are handed.
      Meaning that they only go in left or right: hammers, strikers etc, all handed.
      But I do “sort of” place them in the mag tray in right and left order to a point, simply for speed..
      But just not required.
