I would prefer Himalayan for long term usage, in India Himalayan got a huge fan base Comparatively cheaper in the segment and almost similar features. The major difference is Brand and No of cylinders. Honda refinement is undoubtedly unbeatable and twin cylinder gives really great driving experience.
Single cylinder should not be compared to twin. Different league. But for adventure, I would surely choose the RE Himalayan 452, but it would have to be seriously cheaper, in price, compared.
For an Indian the Himalayan is ok as a decent bike. Does most of the job. But Honda has its own world class tech engine .. it's pricy .. almost double a Himalayan. Affordable enthusiasts can own it. Himalayan will be having teething issues compared to Honda. I think it's not ideal to compare them. The older Himalayan dint fair in highway speed.. now the new does clear the need. Rest both bikes are much same.
But one of the most important things is not included in this comparison. Reliability. A friend of mine had an Enfield and he said that he's never had a more unreliable bike. Before that he had a Honda and he said the opposite.
Japanese are high reving engines because it suits their road. 3rd world countries have broken roads and speed bumps so we need low end torque and closer gear ratios.
There is no comprising issue because one is twin and another is one. One is 100% refind another is row vibrating . Honda has a great weight management , He knows who drives So no compare at all Better you compare it with Verses 650 V-strom 650 not the chippee Himalayan
It very much depends on what country. In Thailand these bikes have nearly the same price, so the honda wins by miles obviously as it comes with a topcase from aluminium and 2 cylinders etc. In India the RE is allot cheaper than the honda, then the RE will have more fans.
@@avro9707 There is a video of a guy who tears down the motors of all the major brands to check the wear. Himalayan 411 won with the least amount of wear. They're building good engines. Single cylinder, better off road torque.
Himalayan off road, Honda on road..two very different bikes
Not really
Definetly!

Its the Honda build quality that wins it for me everytime but comparing a single with a sofisticated twin is a nonsense

In Thailand they cost the same nearly
Price in India ex showroom
Himalayan - 2.8 L
Honda NX500 - 7 L
Tax fucks
Doubt this Honda will come to India. If it come then it would be a suicide.
4-5 L Not 7 L for honda 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡
Honda for highways❤❤

Because that's the ultimate truth
it is the CB500 in the video?
Yeah 2 different bikes and about the price?
Prezzi?
Lame. If you do a comparison with the NX500, then show the NX500 and not the CB500X.
In an off-road m/cy, torque generated at lower RPM is better than more torque at higher RPM.
Japanese are high reving engines because it suits their road. 3rd world countries have broken roads and speed bumps so we need low end torque and closer gear ratios.
Bigger torque is almost ALWAYS better option than HP. And the lower revs it comes, the better.
Honda ❤
Himalayan ❤️
veo una CB500X no una NX500. MAL VIDEO DESDE EL PRINCIPIO

Honda is the best

Srovnání mělo být spiš s Honda CRF 300 l rallye. Tam je Honda suverénně nejlepší 👍🏻😎
Himalayan ❤

RE himalayan
Hondas engine❤
Only HIMALAYAN
who will tell about price comparison...??
No son comparables 😢
I just got delivery of my nx 500 today
Congrats 💐🎉🎊
Honda is inline twin not parallel twin.
Himalayan wins, with much better ground clearance, bigger forks, better fuel economy, better torque balance, lower seat height, better rider posture, off road foot pegs (removable rubber), and more.

I would go crazy listening to the farting of a single cylinder engine while listening to it on long journeys.
@@podunkman2709 ...and others would relish the steady thump.
Ordered Himalayan, looking forward to off loading my 20 CB500X cos is so boring.
