Question: In After Effects and Premiere Pro I am able to make changes to a custom workspace, and then save that workspace, but I can't figure out how to do that in Illustrator. Isn't that possible??

My “Adobe Master Collection CS6” is missing the “Toolbars” option at the “Windows” pulldown menu (only “Tools” is there).
Also, the ‘three dotes’, at the bottom of the Tools Menu bar do not exist.

This is a helpful video! I just spent waaay too much time trying to figure out why I couldn't get the pencil tool to activate. I kept seeing it was grouped with other tools (under the Shaper tool). It used to just be that all I had to do was hover to pop out more tools, now I have to right click. Do you know if there is a way that I can change it from having to right click to having to just hover? I'm referring to the tool box on the left and how tools are grouped together. Mine makes me right click and that is so annoying!

I’ve used cheap light strips in the past and been disappointed, so finally saved up some birthday gift cards and got the Philips Hue lightstrips: geni.us/WLdfn
They aren’t cheap but have lasted me a couple years now and works well with the app. I’m pretty happy with it! Also you can change it to any color but I like the orange glow a lot

@@PixelAndBracketIllustrator Thank you very much! I also just threw a cheap LED in the bin because they are just not bright enough, keep on falling off and just overall aren't really that much fun. I'll definitely go with the Hue Lightstrips then! :)

You might need the hub to control it from the app also, I got one because I also have the Hue Play Lights, but I’m not sure about just the light strip only

This video didn't solve my problem. I had a panel of new vector brushes that kept disappearing from my Workspace, despite activating the panel again and again, positioning it and recording a new Workspace... after restarting AIllustrator the panel disappeared. Until I realized that there's an important factor in the panel (top corner of the panel preferences) that you need to activate in order for it to always be active in the Workspace: "Persistent".
