I know a few that do it…… we’ll maybe not exactly like us but they do get a houseboat for a week. It’s great!
Nothing can be better than having quality family time on a lake, fishing away, day or night! Even better as a few fish manage to get themselves hooked to a line, waiting on being hauled into a boat, to become the family dinner. Yes it is very important that Skipper Frank the Lake Boat Captain did come back aboard to set y'all on course to sail safely to the marina. Best of all, everyone returned to shore, all intact, without being chewed on by some kind of a turtle! That is sure to make it a Great Day!! -Bob...

i remember being a kid in nebraska. we would catch snapping turtles with big hooks in swamps, have frog legs...tasty. Then when moved to MD where you cant eat the fish because of mercury in water....... Cant wait to get back to freedom :). thank you for the video! brought back some great childhood memories. ❤

You need to do a test between live, dead, and salted minnows to see which one the fish like. It seems to me the fish are not biting as well using salted minnows.

Here on my local river we use limb lines with blue gill and we fill boat up with spotted cats. We've tried cut bait but for spots nothing works better here than live bait. Great video.

Anyone catfishing with a troutline is great in my book...
At one time we would target big cats...
Texas law at the time was. No hooks closer than 3ft on main line....But..there was no length on leaders from mainline to hook...
Our leaders were 3ft...lol..Big cats sometimes got snagged on the other hook...Not sure of Tennessee laws...We used mudcats for bait. They would live for days...Or until a big flathead or blue ate them...Love your videos
That’s exactly right! Our rules are very similar…… I always go about double the minimum just to be safe. I like the leaders to be 12-16” anything longer definitely leads to problems!
