- This beautiful piece is based upon the hymn "Bread of heaven" (not to be confused with "O bread of heaven", as in this piece by Daniel Mansfield: • O bread of heaven - Da... . It was composed by Robert Cockroft who very kindly dedicated it to Steven Maxson.
This was recorded on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the Cavaillé-Coll organ in Église Notre-Dame d'Auteuil, Paris. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church. This one was recorded using the rear of the church setting, allowing the most generous recording of the acoustic.
Steven Maxson is well known as an organist, conductor, composer, and arranger. To support his work, please leave a tip at: tip.wearetipjar.com/t3s/music - เพลง

@@northernorganist Hi Steven, I’m creating a playlist titled "Great Organists / Great Pipe Organ Music" and would love to include this video (or another one you’d prefer). May I have your permission to add it to the playlist? Thanks, John
