It wasn't the best football. Not by a long shot. But I think the 2011 Broncos were the most fun I've had watching a team ever, just because every game, somehow, they'd find a way to win late in the 4th quarter if they were in it. - The miracle comeback down by 15 against Miami with less than 3 minutes to go. - The win against the Chiefs where Tebow only completed 2 passes. - This game against the Jets. - The two overtime victories against the Chargers and Bears. - The shootout against Minnesota where they trailed with 2 minutes left and won it in regulation. - And, of course, the playoff game against Pittsburgh

Then he got sent to the Jets the next year and I was like oh alright I’ll take it lol Also I remember watching that game against the Steelers too. That deep ball touchdown to Thomas was amazing. Wish we could all go back and just stay in that time
Dan Reeves used to play close to the vest and then when the game came down to the end, Elway would improvise a win. I loved the 2011 season and Tebow did the same thing, improvising at the end because the coach had no idea how to use him.

Before driving down the field for the winning score Denver had failed to pick up a first down on 8 of their previous 9 possessions. Tebow was 3-11 for 26 yards on those drives and was 0 for his last 7 pass attempts. Then he went 3-5 for 35 yards and ran for another 57 yards himself, including the last 20 into the end zone, which left Rex Ryan speechless for the first time in his life.
With the play calling from Mike McCoy and John Fox, and their combined success with QBs not named Peyton Manning it is quite amazing how much was achieved in 2011. As great as the Peyton Manning years were it would have been nice to see what Tebow could have become with support! It is far from a given tat 2015 Peyton would have been better than 2015 Tim Tebow, but 2012 and 2013 it would have been no contest.

Tebow would've been a veteran at that point, still in his athletic prime and thus assuredly better than Manning. Yes, Manning was a monster his first couple of years in Denver, but all that resulted from that was getting destroyed by the Seahawks. Broncos should've kept Tebow.
