Another awesome technique and presentation as always! I used commercial stencils to add a multicolored border pattern to my kitchen walls years ago.. I’m not a big fan of commercial patterned papers and make my own 99.9% of the time, can’t wait to make multilayered stencils with my Cameo now!!! Now, the two-layered stenciling is new to me. Not often I've said that, as "This is just like..." is my favored opening, Not this time, though. The idea behind the varying levels is when you use differing colors, right? Have to say I really like the purple "leaves." Green would've been my choice, but then, I'm painfully literal. That's why you're the artist and I'm not...

Hi, Keith! Yes, the varying levels of the stencils are for using different colors or even different mediums. I used an example with just ink, but I could've inked the leaves and used something like a texture paste for the berries to give the design more dimension. Or I could've even used a foiling medium on one of the layers to create hot foil accents with the Minc. Lots of possibilities!
