This vacuum looks so much better than any Dyson! I love my Miele Canister because it's so simple but I would love to have a cordless vac. I kind of wish this Miele Stick was even more simple, minimal, and streamlined. The design and engineering, especially of the collection bin, seems unnecessarily complicated. The plastics seem cheap too. My Miele Canister is made like a tank. I love, love your commitment to your customers, however! Wow, you're awesome!

Really liking mine so far. Is it perfect? No. Worth the price? Ehhh…. I got a slight deal on a floor model that was brand new/unused sold on ebay and recommend doing something similar. I’d prefer the wand to be made with aluminum or something over prop 65 toxic plastic and some of the latches can be quite difficult to “detach” when using the vacuum in different configurations. Also, it can give quite a bit of resistance when pushing it forward on rugs/carpeting. But, the design concept is well thought out, it’s very quiet, and it really puts minimal pressure on the wrist when configured with the canister/filter near the base so I’m glad I chose it. Also like that it stands on its own. I would recommend fully charging the batteries and then running them out completely before recharging to maximize battery longevity. Lastly, I have two mini “turbo brushes” (one Shark, one Miele from a canister vac I have) and both fit this vac.
Amusing and informative but as I have bad hands, it would be good to show how to remove the battery to charge the non-pro models and how to empty the bin but as I'm in Australia I'll have to ask someone down here !
Just unboxed and used my Triflex HX1 today, convinced after watching this video (more than once to be honest). So powerful!, but it's heavy to push around (was using a Dreametech which is practically weightless, but was a frustrating cleaning exprience). This cleans like a corded vaccum. Question: does this Electrobrush it comes with transition from hardwood to rugs without having to adjust or stop the unit? Does it have higher and lower settings? Is it meant for both types of floors? I think the spinning stops on its own soemtimes, starts again. Am I doing it wrong?
congrats on the new Miele. The brush does have a sensor that detects the type of floor its on, so it automatically spins faster on rugs and carpets and slows down on bare floors without the user having to do anything. If its on a really plush/dense carpet or really thin carpet, yes the brush roll may stop spinning and that is to protect its own mechanism from damage due to extra resistance.
Cat and dog got a new one in a bidding auction £278 what a steal, i was thinking ill use it as a second hoover but its better than my leaded hover really cleans deep use it daily now.
Will this be appropriate for use on loop pile wool carpets? I have a Dyson stick that’s too rough and need something that will be kinder but still do a good clean! Thanks from Australia 👍🏻

Yes, They all have the same motor, therefore, the same suction and power. Except for the light and the extra battery and charger, the only difference is that the PRO has a better filter, its a HEPA filter instead of a Hygiene filter.
