James is great. He has strong opinions without coming across as attention seeking, he can joke and can offer an interesting conversation, uses stats and understands the game, he isn’t obsessed with talking about the Big 6, he’s everything you want in a football presenter. Top bloke.
He’d be the perfect long term lineker replacement for MOTD BBC would never do that though.

James is just leagues above most of the other guests. Knows the league up and down, not fully focussed on the 'big' clubs, has opinions but uses stats, tactical systems, psychology of players and clubs etc to back those thoughts up with reasoning.
It's not just Rory doubling down on preconcieved ideas built on the back of culturally repeated nonsense that has no evidence or validity to them. It's gammon ball knowledge.

James Allcott, what a guy. He was the only reason I watched this video. Pieface seems like a nice bloke as well. I would love to see more of both of these two.
James is always the highlight of the show. Whatta guy
James is just leagues above all the other guests. He knows ball, uses stats and has perfect player analysis. He never suggest anything rogue and always has a great argument for all of his points.

Italian fan here. Immobile Is far from a proper 9 who holds the ball, he's like a grasshopper who sprints and jump all around the box and has a great sense for the goal but almost all Italian fans were crying during the Euros because when he tries to participate in the build-up he almost always loses the ball, hasn't really got a good eye for passes and isn't really great at holding the ball either.
Being an arsenal fan is great. I watch the first 3 minutes or so and I've got what I came for

We have Nørgaard who is incredible, Janelt who is also brilliant, Baptiste is also really good when he plays and we are even happy to let Onyeka leave on loan.
And we have Hickey who has been brilliant at rb, and if Henry gets injured he can move to left back. Roerslev has a year of PL football under his belt and looks good this season and Stevens looks like he could become an exceptional wing back.
We need a No. 9, apart from Toney we only have Dervisoglu who isn’t suited playing as a lone striker. So we need someone who can come in as a like for like Toney replacement if he gets injured

James is knowledgeable is considers what really needed not just trying to make thumbnail grabbing shock statements like a lot of the guests. Should be on way more often
Immobile to Southampton is an interesting one to be fair, we went in for Belotti before he turned us down and Immobile not to dissimilar. He’d defo turn us down too if we went in for him but an interesting shout though. Really wanted Liam Delap to be signed such a shame City chose to keep him for the future and loan him short term to the champ instead.
I feel like Brits don't really understand Bellingham's skillset. So many teams are going to spend just stupid money on him and be disappointed imho. Expectations should be tempered.

While I quite like these videos, even if some of the choices are a bit weird (and really point to a lack of knowledge of the teams outside the top 6). But the issue is they ALWAYS spend too long on the first 5/6 teams and end up ALWAYS rushing through the rest of the teams. Either give them more time to talk about each team properly, or mix up the order every now and them.
Would love Barella at Man City. He's got the work rate and stamina to replace Bernardo Silva next season. But I'm hoping we sign Bellingham next season instead.

As a Fulham fan Ola Aina would be a great shout for Bournemouth, I’d even love him back at Fulham
He’s a good player but i think Tete and Mbabu are far above him in terms of defensive ability

Zaha has always been a target for Newcastle in my eyes, every fifa manager play through I’ve done I’ve bought him
I actually like Reguilon and for whatever reason he has seemingly fallen out of favour and I don't see him with the first team in training or anything, they've bought other players, he does deserve to be up there with a big club at the top level imo. Still quite young. Would be a good move for him I think to go to Leeds.
I'd be more than happy with Zaha. I would have been happy with Paquetta to though. Yes he's heavily linked with West ham but they had a £33m bid rejected, close to Lyons asking price. Newcastle on the other hand seem to conclude deals when the link is non existent or seemingly dead. No body saw us complete a deal for Almiron in 2018, ASM and Jetro Willems in 2019, Bruno in January, and even Isak seemed to be dead in the water until a fee was accepted and he was on his way for a medical. Newcastle are a behind the scenes negotiators. Paquetta isn't done yet. It's just too quiet now.

I feel like a striker is what is really needed at United now - midfield is much stronger that it was at the end of last season but with Ronaldo potentially moving on there is a huge gap in the team up top
I rlly want arsenal to get Zaha and Saint Maximin ik we have saka, martinelli, esr however we need some better subs and saint maximin will perform a lot better without all the pressure of being the big guy, zaha just fits so well and i rlly like him
One thing worries me about bellingham, delli ali, they both have very similar qualities, i we know what happened to deli

Arsenal need a back up striker if Jesus gets injured because without him they have no recognised out and out goalscorer and will return to last seasons inconsistencies . Aston Villa need a midfielder . Tottenham have two available and Villa are not direct rivals . A loan deal may suit both parties for one or both with a clause that they can't play against Tottenham . Chelsea need a first choice striker as Tuchel clearly doesn't rate Broja enough to give him a first choice slot but because they have no outright first team number 9 they also can't let Broja go . Either a first choice striker or Lukaku back . That's now their priority . Palace are ok with their first eleven and need backups for midfield more than anything else , ie creativity . Leeds would be better off going for Winks on loan because their midfield is lacking when they are under pressure . They need a holding midfielder to slow things down . If they don't use the funds they've got in to reinforce the squad they could find themselves struggling this season . Leicester also will still be knocking on the door of the top 6 but they do need a striker to be integrated over the next couple of seasons . Vardy only has another couple of years left in him unless Leicester change their style of play amnd rely more on possession in the opposition third . Liverpool need a left sided driving attacker to replace Mane in order to maintain the forward pressing three pronged attack that's got them so far . Lol at Man City needing more players . ManU yeah an outright striker as they also like Chelsea can't really play possession in the opposition third . All their attacks essentially have to have the pace and start from deep as counterattacking moves . Newcastle have just bought a load of players that are a tiny kleg up from where they were . They'll be hoping to make it into the top 10 so you're going to see a lot of those players swapped out as their league positions and capacity to draw players to the project improves . Tottenham the same as a few others , an out and out striker , and potentially two deals could be done in Bale and Dembele , one that has been previously linked and another that has an affinity for Tottenham and now plays as an outright number 9 rather than attacking from midfield or behind the number 9s as both cover for Harry Kane and also as an option alongside Kane for when he drops deep . Imo Kane should always be the furthest striker forward . Spurs and he would both get more goals from him that way . West Ham are doing ok and it's more building for the future . They're not this season knocking on the door of the top 6 but they have a few players that have limited years left and have to start preparing for later losses . Wolves have never replaced Djota . Simple .
