You’re a human being Mike!!! Name one person who hasn’t got frustrated with how your life is panning out? You’ll get there dude
He should have watched the weather app before driving and taken the audi
@Chris-hw4mq yeah plus snow has been predicted for days. I'm just glad that he made it home safely.
Mike, when stuck in the "ruts" of snow driving, stay out of the paths of other cars, aim for the new untouched snow, better traction, even in the AMG. . Always admired your language ability, speaking your non native language so well. Keep working.
That's why I go nowhere when the weather is like that because I live in the south and these folks can't drive when it's sunny and warm out.
What do you think about Winter tires? 😂😂😂😂😂
Sounds like you don’t play well with others. 😂
Man I don't miss that type of weather at all I use to live in NJ and relocated down south. Best thing I ever did stay blessed brotha
Well done getting home Mike, what a nightmare! I’m from the UK and we all run summer tyres here in the winter since snow is so rare but it’s chaos when we get some rare snow!
Ha!… sounds like me on my drive into Dallas! I’m on a mission to get where I’m supposed to be and, everyone else is either spread out across all four lanes drive’n Miss Daisy or, they’re trying to run me over!
Just a simple tip. Check the weather report before you take the S65 out 🤣
💯
Could it be anymore simple😂.
Weather report could be wrong/not precise enough. Winter tires would always work...
Dude, I feel you! With those fat tires and summer and only RWD, geez. I don't even want to drive my Range Rover TDV8 4WD on my 22" all weather in such weather! Hero! Bra jobbat!
Man! I’ve been there many times in BMW’s with summer tires here in the Minneapolis area.. so stressful. Glad you and the car made it home safely 🙏
Thank you for the ride along. Growing up in western Pennsylvania around the Pittsburgh area I miss all of this drama. I actually like driving in the snow and the challenges that come with it.
the plow truck driving by as soon as you pull in is hilarious
You're the man Mike, we all love you :)
The return of the squeaking door intros hell yeah lol!
I’m sitting in my dry home in Southern California and this is a reminder why I no longer live in the Northeast. I felt the frustration and remember having to drive in the snow. I don’t miss it.
I lived in Vermont for 6 months from November to April, now i am back in Florida and i don't have to change my tires according to the seasons and temperatures, but come on guys , snow or not from Georgia state and up you know you gotta change to winter tires, anything happens and this video is a proof of that. And Mike you are used to driving in Sweden in those conditions i bet so you took that like a champ, nice work, cool video.
I switch my tires after Thanksgiving roughly. As soon as it's consistently 40 degrees or below I switch, I'm in Pittsburgh too lol. Drove through that storm twice to go get food and had no issues
I feel your frustration! you have to get legit snow tires, especially with rear wheel drive. You will be amazed how good they are these days. Thanks for the video!
Snow tires make a huge difference, even when driving in such a small amount of snow. AWD can get you going in the snow, but does nothing to help you stop. About the first thing I do when I get a new car is go out and get a second set of wheels to put dedicated snow tire on. Then again, here in Canada, we get enough snow that we can't just stay home when it snows because we'd never go anywhere.
Anyways, hope everything works out and keep up the videos!
What do you do to protect the bottom from all the salt during those months? In the US majority of us avoid buying used cats that were driven up north, for this reason.
Undercoating is very popular up here. Helps slow down rust over the winters. Not everyone cares to do it. I’ve always got both our vehicles done
The have invented winter tyres for a reason.
@@andrebosgraaf2086that still won't help that much on a RWD big-engine car
IT helps at low temperature and snow the are mutch better , but the need tho be new.
I remember a snow storm 5-6 years ago in Massachusetts where the same thing happened to me. I was driving my 2012 Mustang GT with a staggered summer tire set-up. I didn't check the weather for a few days and found my self driving, if you can call it that, home in 2-3 inches of slop. It was by far the must frustrating/scary driving experience of my life. All you can do is drive slow and hope that you can get enough traction to make it home. well done man! its not easy.
Well done getting home, gotta love those white knuckle commutes. You did the best you could do given the car you were driving.
Mike love the video, you were very calm compared to how I get before your trip you might want to consider two different tires for the rear. Good luck and Happy New Year.
Life is tough. I'm glad that you made it home.
dude im getting stressed just watching you drive in the snow, cant imagine what ur going through
Simp much?
I definitely understand the frustration driving in that weather.
Hats off to you for getting home. That was pretty impressive! Btw Go Steelers!!
We don’t have a snow problem in south Florida but we have plenty of terrible drivers. All I can say is something my psychologist told me that helps tremendously is when you start getting angry, don’t say anything and remain silent. The more you talk and cuss, the more angry you become. Works miracles for me!
Maybe you could get winter tires for your trip to be safe 🙏
Yes the drivers down here suck. A co-worker just got into a fender bender (hit & run)
Yep, literally the worst drivers I have ever seen. I remember I was at a conference in Fort Lauderdale one year and I asked this one girl why it was so bad there and she said it's because everyone comes from these shitty countries and brings their shitty driving habits with them. LOL
So dangerous, I had an S55 AMG back in the day with those Dunlop SP9000s and that was deadly in the winter, bought a different set of wheels with all season tires immediately after my first experience with them in the snow. Snow in Pennsylvania is awful, one year I was in my SUV, driving with my mother and we got caught in a snowstorm out near Penn State and had to sleep in the car at a rest area. I was driving on the highway and actually had to turn my headlights off because the snow was reflecting off the headlights and blinding me, that was crazy.
Awesome content, keep it up bruv.
You are from Sweden and you should know you should never drive in the snow with summer tires.
You can afford studless friction tyres for winter😂
Autovlog Great Video I think your Frustration was absolutely hilarious and I'm glad you made it home safely and I definitely agree that you should work on your Frustration and Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Belated New Year to you your family and all of your Subscribers
By seeing this video i really missing your trucks man the f150 or the TRX they were amazing btw loved the video and happy new year mike 🎉
Wild idea... look at the weather before you drive haha. Glad you made it through the weather safely though Mike
Also you could throw some snow tires on for your trip just for those just in case situations and peace of mind
the picture of the plow just as you get in the garage was hilarious.
You better get that Danger Ranger back on the streets!
Trx replacement lol😂
Yeah I'm in Michigan and I have winter and summer tires for my focus ST and for my wife's car we have winter and all season tires and it makes a huge difference. Thanks for the update!
I was out in your new stomping grounds Saturday too. What a cluster fuck Mt Washington was. I must've been on woodruff 5-10 mins before you, cause the cop was just pulling up to that focus hatchback that slid off the road. It's been a while since I saw a squall like that mess up the roads so quickly. And generally it doesn't seem to snow in pittsburgh much anymore. Thankfully I bought snow tires this year for the first time in probably 4-5 winters. What a difference maker. Glad you made it home
I feel you with the summer tire anxiety Mike! I bought an X7 M60 a few weeks ago that comes stock with summer tires. I was a nervous wreck on Saturday with the light dusting of snow we got here. I plan on getting some All Weathers in the next week or so.
Good video man . I like both channels. I kinda like your new one better. But that’s just me . I like people and I like the real world. Have fun and keep on working
Driving in the snow is the ultimate stress inducer ugh. Even worse when the vehicle you’re driving isn’t equipped correctly lol. Confidence is King my friend 😎
Hang in there buddy it will get better
Mike smiling equals happiness.
Grew up in south hills area, got stuck plenty of times, until I bought a brand new 79 Chev Blazer, it was on like hot buttered popcorn!!!! Lots of winter snow fun…. Weather app Mike, “MyRadar” is great to utilize just saying, love the snow footage, living in Virginia Beach, snow may occur between late Jan to mid February, waiting for the SNOW or at least hopeful!
Simple solution “ Snow Tires “ 😂
Hey Mike, I feel your frustration, I live in Canada, and hey, you did good buddy👍👍
Man that thing sounds amazing
That’s why I look at what the weather will be like during the day. 👍🏻
Gotta get some winters Mike. I just got some separate wheels for my winter tires
Mike is the only guy in all of Pittsburgh who didn’t know it was gonna snow Saturday 😂. lol jk, I felt your pain in this one man.
Only person in Pennsylvania that didn't know 😂😂
Lol don't be naive, he did know. It's all for content.
I guess the new crib doesn’t have tv or internet for the weather forecast?
This was a very entertaining video Mike…. ❤
That Yukon can't make it up the hill because it's a two-wheel 😆😂
I love Florida. lol. Keep going love the channel.
Aren’t you a Swede Mike, driving in the snow should be a breeze.😉
You will be alright, keep moving forward, in my tj hunt voice 💯👌
We are all works in progress. I feel for buddy.
Great video mike 🎉keep up the good work brother!
Damn, you have a nice view of the city!
hey mike, i am same way with frustration. I am getting better at it but def takes alot of time or more than you think.
Good job getting home! I would suggest to get another set of rims with winter tires for at least one of your cars
For what it's worth it sounds great😂
Winter tires are a must. You can get some performance winters from Continental, Michelin, Pirelli. Well worth it, especially if you are going on a road trip. It's winter, weather is always unpredictable. Will save mileage on the Summer tires and you'll be safer on the road.
the weight of that tank helped tremendously lmaoo
This was entertaining 😂 mainly because I know the feeling of getting stuck on a hill with a rear wheel drive car lol
I do understand the passion for summer tires though!
Come on Mike! Gotta get those winter tyres soon! Better safe than sorry but it's ok!
Mike, I got caught in my E350 4matic. They said only 1 to 2in but never said it was going to fall that fast. I'm in Churchill and on a hill. I spun all four wheels to get home. Yokohama's was feeling like slicks were like on ice skates.😅😅 I'm glad you made it safely and no accident. Have a blessed 2024
People in Pennsylvania forget it snows, then they forget to put on winter tires, and then they forget how to drive in winter.
Doesn't help a lot of PA hasn't gotten but a coating in two years, we had snow here in Philly a good coating and it was a mad house people's brains just turn off. You see AWD vehicles in the ditches while I'm cruising in my FWD Sonata with tires that are nearing replacement but I got around fine because I grew up in this crap and with RWD and no snow tires lol. All about the experience!
I hate winter more than anything. I live in the Pittsburgh area also. We’ve been lucky the last couple of years, but yesterday was a reminder of how it can be around here. If I got stuck going up Mt. Washington, I would have just parked and walked up the hill 😂
We were visiting Pittsburgh this weekend from NC, and went to the overlook by St.Mary's of the Mount Church. We left to get back to Murrysville (for hockey tournament) before it got bad. Didn't realize you lived near that area. Would have love to have seen the S, but not under those conditions!
c'mon Mike...they've been telling us for days that the snow was coming.....!!! But glad you made it. Rear wheel MBs and those soft tires are not good at all on snow.
Hiya Mike , don’t be to hard on yourself regarding drivers in the snow , Like yourself I have a bmw e60 v10 with 385 s on the back and got caught out a few times in shitty weather .
I live a few states west of you . I’m over it lol . I’m looking to get out!
I had a similar incident in my first AMG a 1991 560SEL (Original Old School) riding on 255 Dunlop D40M2 Tires mounted on Ronal R9's. The difference was I was 90 miles from home and had to travel North into even colder and worsening conditions. Needless to say, it was the last time I ever endured that (I went to Continental Blizzaks for winter tires and started installing them in early November rather than chance it again). Also since then I've been fortunate enough to add winter cars to my garage Ml55, and later on ML63 etc. Problem solved.
That was impressive driving!
That storm is hitting us in Boston right now so I feel your pain lol
That $70k suburban slipping down that hill
Drive on summertires on snow here and you instantly lose your license, its extremly reckless!! You know better as a swede!
This genius is lucky he didn't wreck that Benz.
Oh man I got stressed out just watching u try to get home lol
Great video!😸
The old "people still have summer tires on" excuse
Dude, it's JANUARY! 😆
Oh, and expect 2 tickets in the mail for the red light and stop sign runs 😉
“Don’t want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere”
That sounds like great content!!
“Benz stuck in a snow storm in the middle of nowhere” sounds like TH-cam gold!
bruh u r a gem
Mike, so sorry to find out that you and the wife have separated. You guys always seemed to have such a good time together. Best of luck and good wishes for the coming year.
She was already a single mom that's a huge red flag.
@@Christoph-sd3zi You would never consider a single mom ever? Not even a chance?
@@RichardTouchfaithno
@@RichardTouchfaith I wouldn't. She already made a bad choice the first time, that's a huge red flag for me
Hope all is well Mike! Happy New Year and looking forward to content on both your TH-cam channels 👍🏻
This was a fun video, thanks for sharing
Happy New Year Mike! 🔥📵
I live in tx. We are suppose to get a little winter weather this weekend. Everyone goes crazy here when that happens. Haha.
9:03 that was not so responsible citizen of you LOL
I had the same problem in the GTI Saturday. Almost slid into a Hyundai on University Blvd in front of the Jeep dealer. There were cars everywhere.
Your snow technical sweeping Is good with all the practice....
You caught on to your frustration. It was trending but I get it lol that’s a good accountability measure, watching how you act and bring awareness to it. Keep up the good work!
Man... I was stressing out just watching this! Very little snow this year so far, but still to early to say that.
Right as i was just about to start driving around super cars too....
If you travel through Tennessee in January your worst luck would be around the TN/VA line on I-81 or the TN/KY line on I-75 or I-65. Those are kind of notorious for getting shut down due to winter storms, especially I-81.
Once you’re south of Morristown in East TN or from Nashville and south in Middle TN, then you’re pretty much in the clear.
Only other places you’d struggle around here are if you’re trying to go into Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg or across the Smokies on I-40 into western North Carolina.
FYI a Prius with all season tires is one of the best cars to drive in the snow
Love the videos
I live on the east side of Pittsburgh (Plum) & I feel your frustration !
no people being slow to be safe. 40 year in vermont and we have to slow down god bless you.
On a downhill yes... not on an uphill.
We've all been there, brings back many memories of doing similar in the U.K. Dawdling drivers are a nightmare.
I’ve gotten my W205 C63 stuck in my driveway several times after taking it out in the middle of winter during a Canadian Chinook where temps hit the 70s for a week and streets are dry…except for residential areas 😅
