I'm actually going through the process of being diagnosed with Parkinson's and this describes wholly what is going on with me... I hope I can get treated for this if I do have it..
This video was shown to us by our lecturer in our 3rd year medicine class. It's a really well made video and it helped me understand a lot easier than our textbook.
Awaesomeeeee !!! Thank you so much for the noble work ! Took me forever to understand this path in the past but u just explained it so clearly ! Keep up the good work please !
Parkinson disease is a very terrible illness, my Dad suffered from it for 19 years until we finally got a help and a medicine that truly works that helped treat, cure and reversed all his symptoms. My Dad is well again..
+George Cooke Confused me as well Dopamine in Direct pathway targets D1 receptors which excites striatum. So you get reduced voluntary movements, hence the slowness Dopamine in Indirect pathway target D2 receptors which inhibits striatum So you get more involuntary movements, which are the tremors
@@AbdulHamid-uo2ok Wait but isn't the indirect pathway is to prevent the involuntary movements? Now that you have more activation to the striatum in the indirect pathway, why would u still got more involuntary movements?
This is so amazing and so much reminds of my Dad’s battle with Parkinson's disease and stroke. I think the biggest trauma was much on the family. You know, watching your agile father became so fragile and a shadow of himself. He became dependent on grand kids to move him around and feed too. It was really heartbreaking for everyone! But each time I remember the story, I become so thankful that we were opportune to learn about The program Parkinson’s Protocol through the internet and used his herbal medicine which helped my Dad. Though I read a lot of negative things about herbs for Parkinson's disease and attendant effects of stroke treatment, I can tell you that the right herbal medicine is still out there! We found ours through Ovie. My Dad was 75 when he had an attack with Parkinson's disease which led to stroke. We used all recommended over-the-counter medicines for him for a period of 3 years, yet, there was no cure and to think those drugs had very bad side effects on him became our new challenge. When we switched to homeopathic treatment , he got a little better. In 7 months of use program Parkinson’s Protocol, his body was totally revived! His stroke vanished while Parkinson's disease was completely cured. Dad turned 87 April 12th and is still very strong. Occasionally tending his garden with grandchildren. I will say, give a try, you never know your breakthrough from Parkinson's disease and stroke is very close to you. For more information, click here: ☻☻ tinyurl.com/Parkinsonss?eLKs > ☻☻
How come that what slightly inhibits another thing make it strongly inhibiting? Why would Globus Pallidus strongly stimulates inhibition when the Striatum gave it a small inhibitory signals?
Sir, What is the role of cortex in indirect pathway?? Because u didn't added arrow mark from the cortex sir. Does cortex won't send any signal to striatum
+king biggie Hi, thanks- glad you found it useful! Thanks for your suggestions for new videos - these will be in the pipeline and up soon - subscribe to be notified when they're ready!

How Bro
What is the medicine plz could you explain
What medicine helped your father?
So how are positive symptoms like tremor explained?
