    Hi Luis, I ordered the Raise 2 on the first hour on the launch day. Please consider the Magnetic Hall effect switches for Defy 2 and Raise 3. Currently, I am using a modified ZSA Voyager with 6 thumb keys on each side for productivity work and a Wooting for gaming.

      That's an interesting idea! I'll tell the team! Thank you 😊

    I can say that after many months with the Defy, the thumb cluster is a treat. I use very regularly 6 of the 8 keys, and the 2 most inner ones less often, and I wonder how I lived with only one key under my thumbs for most of my life! It felt challenging at first, but now it’s like a second nature. Can't wait to add more macros when they become available to use those thumb keys even more! 😀

      Thank you! 6 of the 8 keys is a great usage of the thumbcluster. Most people use 4 or 5 regularly.

    More thumb-keys can be texture sometimes it gets smooth or sort of worn-out But it still works and feels much better. But some are wireless Bluetooth and some are well chord wired like. I know we are used to changing batteries but we don’t have to do that since there is chargeable ones now.

    Thymb keys are great! I love how you designed them in a Defy.
    I think that in Raise I will miss some of them as there is half of them.

      Thank you for your words! that happened to me! Now when I use my Raise I miss my Defy thumbkeys 😂

    I will use most if not all of them since I have spent far to long dealing with the horible placement of symbols an the shift key lol
    then games just make this worse
    why is p an m used for stuff so often I have a mouse to use my second hand for

      Having to deal with keys in weird spots can be super annoying, especially when you're in the middle of a game. Check out the Dygma Defy or Dygma Raise 2. They're programmable keyboards with 8 (Raise 2) and 16 (Defy) thumbkeys, so you can easily reach the keys and symbols you use the most. This could really step up your gaming!

    Yes, Ergodox EZ is missing a thumb key there, that's why I didn't like it. I did use two extra thumb keys - the keys below v and m, by turning the key caps upside down so it's comfortable to press with the thumbs. But they also have a nice feature where you can tap and hold a dual function key to get it to hold the primary function. Repeating keys like space, backspace, enter, etc. is often useful. I wish you would implement that too. I tried using Super keys, but it doesn't work as well, you have to manually adjust the options and I wasn't able to get the same behavior, at best I got a long delay when single pressing (or pressing multiple times quickly) the key before it registers, which is unacceptable.

      What do you mean by repeating? Isn't it the same as just having a key pushed for some time until you get enough repeats of it?

      @abc33155 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hakier_ Yes, that’s it. Not possible with a dual-function key (which is a key that when pressed down is a modifier).

      @abc33155 ok. Now I understand. That is true. I was lacking this functionality especially for backspace/ctrl when I want to remove a portion of a text

      That's a great function that we are still trying to replicate with our firmware 😅

    Two, maximum three are best IMO.

      Well that depends on your necessities, I think once you have more, you can't go back to less. That happened to me when I went from my Raise to my Defy, and now, when I use the Raise I miss my other thumbkeys 🥲
