    I needed to complete a fast hat and nearly stayed away because your pattern called for Magic Loop. I figured I'd give it a shot as you made magic loop seem easy. I had stayed away from it up till now because I thought it would be too difficult for me. Well I was wrong, I love Magic Loop now and that's all due to you! Thanks for your clear instructions. Thank you for taking it step by step. Its a really great project, quick and easy. I will be checking out your other patterns now.

    I tried Magic Loop a good while ago, but never felt very secure with it. I especially appreciate the approach to decreasing the stitches, and finishing the beanie. It's the best I've ever seen. Thank you for the video.

    Very very helpful . Can’t wait to start. Although I’m not sure how many stitches to cast on for a small adult since hat. Could you kindly advise me. Thank you

    • @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast
      @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there , glad you are finding this helpful. For a small adult I would recommend 60 sts . Depending on how much elasticity in the yarn and how loose your stitches are you could probably even go down to 40.

    • @buttonscottons3127
      @buttonscottons3127 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your reply. I’m having a 4mm yarn and 4mm needles. I also knit not too lose but not too tight either. How many stitches would you suggest with that thickness of yarn then? Thank you so much !

    Im confused how you knit every row for the body of the hat but it looks like stockinette stitch not garter stitch?????? Am i missing something :')

    • @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast
      @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It is stockinette in it and not garter stitch. I was nervous recording this video as it was several years ago when I first started creating content, so please forgive me for my misspoken terminology in this video.

    I need to make a hat that will fit a man 23 in. head. Will 80 stitches work for me.?

    • @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast
      @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I completely stretch out 78 stitches I have a circumference of 27 inches. So at 80sts it should fit comfortably.

    • @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast

      Depending on tension and size needles/yarn . The one in the tutorial is standard fitting for most adult size heads .

      I have a large head and with my tension, yarn and needle size it works for my head. You might need to add stitches for you.
