You literally just have to guess EXACTLY what builds the game designers decided were "correct" for each encounter, and then keep grinding your face against the sandpaper that is this game until the RNG comes up your way. None of that has to do with skill, just research/guide-reading, memorization of exact requirements and rolling dice over and over and over again. This is not a game, it is homework, but with gambling that can invalidate correct answers thrown in, for bad measure. I'm just sad I didn't see it sooner.

If we count by Earth time, she is about 20-22 years old (the time loop took 20 years to resolve, and the library took a couple more months to form) If we count the total time she existed in all the timelines, she would actually be millions of years old. If we count time from her perspective, she has existed for less than 2 years. (Depending on which day Binah extracted her in the final loop, how long it took for the library to form, and whether she experiences time while inside her book.)
This fight was when I realized that the strategy of the game is to mitigate RNG where you can, but also you can only do that so much. Sometimes the game decides "No, this fight I will max roll every attack, and you will min roll, and I will win, screw you." It can be very frustrating.
Isnt the solution to the fight is to get Shi cards? I mean the Shi hard counter ranged decks (been a while since i played the mid game so if im wrong feel free to correct)
@@trashman8080 shi is pretty good against em but Blade Lineage (a general invite) just shuts down even her dragon mode,
their boss; Kim basically adds +4 to their strong single slashes, so you can't roll less than a 9

Congrats on beating that fight! I suffered so much on it that I pratically skipped Tiphereth's floor, only went to re-try her when I were overleveled, her dice's power is insane at that point in the game.
Also I loved your editing! The cuts between the attacks was a great idea, gotta recognize the sacrifice that you probably played whitout music to record it whitout having the music mess it up

The playing without music part wasn't that bad because I have virtual audio cables installed. So I could have the game in my recording be 1 audio track while my mic goes to a different track and my browser where I listened to music is on another different track. Unfortunately I didn't mute the game audio for any other fight, because either I didn't find them that bad, or in the case of the wolf I even forgot.
I'm currently in early SoTC and have pretty much everything recorded except general invitations and miscellaneous grinding for cards.
@@Sulvr Lol, when I record a long video I get too scared that the audio tracks will end up mixing in the end because I use a shady OBS plugin, I just end up muting my mic and listening to music (the games own ost in the case of LoR) on another device.

Congrats, I had one hell of a victory screech finally finishing this fight when I got to this point of the game and had my friends laugh at my expense streaming it.
Personally, Kurokumo's defensive pages saved me here. You can firmly clap back on the mass attack.

The wolf is honestly not that bad, you just Feeble him so that he loses to Little Red and it snowballs nicely in your favour (also remember that ranged pages eat counters). IIRC, she used to sandbag before an update at some point during EA.

She does here too if you mess up the gimmick.
Occasionally she marks a character and if that character damages her the background starts turning pink and when it's fully pink she turns into a snake and you pretty much lose.
Because I had PTSD from lob corp I made sure she didn't turn into a snake (I did mess up once and reset immediately tho).
I, against all odds, decided to force her on giant snake form then beat her while she is staggered after using mass attack. She is weirdly easy to beat if you force her on her snake form too early without losing more than 10% hp, but unbeatable when all of your team have about 70% hp left when she transformed

I currently only need the far right ones to do and like 4 abnormality fights before I'm done with urban nightmare. Also I already did Malkuth's realization and it was cool af.
@@Sulvr well once you get to the next rank which has a huge power spike in BS and that, but yeah i recommend fighting on floors that you have realized because you'll need those ego cards.
so, the best way to deal with her is going full stop and completely focusing a single one of her dies, using i hate cqc as much as possible, wich makes her

Easiest way to kill her is burn her to death who cares if all of you are dead keep stacking burns and she's also be dead and that would still be a win even if all of you are dead just target 1 speed dice and avoid clashing.

Me losing clash did not matter as long as the other 5 attacks gets the burn off.
I did this strat until I met philip's 5 phase fight cause it resets burn stacks could only reach phase 4 with like 2 people still alive.
Its easy to get I am fire achievment in sweeper fight btw cause even if they revive the burn will kill them next turn counting as a burn kill.

I used a burn/bleed deck using kurukumo, dawn, and chain cards. Beat her in three tries (fuck you RNG)
What are the casual filters of Ruina? I just started playing and beat the first 5 suppressions.
EDIT: I also stopped playing, because I haven't finished Lobotomy Corporation, but Ruina is so much more fun, but I also don't want to spoil myself. I am torn.
I ended up watching the story for Lobotomy Corp as that game got too hard for me.
I'd say Queen of Hatred is the first casual filter if you try to beat her as soon as you can. Love Town, the place we don't talk about had good amount of people struggle. Gebura's abnormalities were hard af as well as most things in the Star of the City chapter.
Whatever you do, don't give up. It took me half a year to finish Ruina because I had to take a break from Star of the City as to not go insane.

I notice that your decks don't have a lot of page draw in them, did you never have an issue with running out of cards?
Not really. I usually ended the fights before that became an issue. Now that I'm doing Urban Nightmare stuff I'm using more draw cards and have one of my librarians's use a Hanafuda discard build.
@@Sulvr I see, some of the receptions in urban nightmare tend to... drag on a lot more than plague receptions, but it also gives you the best card draw page and 3rd best page overall (in my opinion)

Yes and no. Beating the abnormality fights do usually get you another pawn, but the real rewards are the perks from these abnormalities you can select during combat. So in a way they'll be a part of your team.
There are also regular invitations which grant you the cards and equipment used by invited enemies.

Have patience. Upgrade your decks whenever you can. If an abnormality fight is too tough you can do it later when you're more powerful.
There are cheats on the steam workshop/nexus mods if you give up.
This game is pretty flexible in the way you can put off tough fights and do other ones to get better cards.
I'm tempted to get more Mars Key pages having 2 speed dice is really nice but you do run low on cards if you're not careful

Nope, not important. All that hood does is some very minor stat boost.
