- Never say never! Let's study the Russian grammar! We are going to discuss negative pronouns in Russian: how to say in Russian words like no one, nothing, never, etc.
We will talk about different cases in Russian and how to form negation in Russian.
1:38 *I've been studying Russian on my own off and on for over 5 years. Russian has a LOT of words/verbs that cover the same thing as compared to English. For example, the verb "to go". There are a TON of verbs to cover that action, where as in English "to go" is sufficient. Now I'm hearing that there are many ways to say "what", "who", etc as well. It's quite a complicated language!!* 😲😲😲

1.Ты ел что-нибудь? Нет я ничего не ел. 2. Ты заходил к кому- нибудь? Нет я ни к кому не заходил. 3. Ты говорил о чем -нибудь? Нет я ни о чем не говорил 4. Был ли он где-нибудь? Нет он нигде не был 5. Пошел ли он куда -нибудь? Нет , он никуда не пошел 6. У тебя какой-нибудь журнал? Нет у меня никакого журнала . Спасибо за урок и хорошое упражнение!!

В номере 4 и 5 не обязательно использовать "ли", можно сказать "Он где-нибудь был? Он куда-нибудь ходил?". Но Ваш вариант тоже правильный. В номере 6 надо использовать "есть": "У тебя есть какой-нибудь журнал?"

I'm native spanish speaker and I can realize that in spanish language we change the order of the sentences like you russians (based on the final of your video). On the opposite, the order matters in english or german language. That's interesting.

First of all ...thank you very much!
Secondly...if I may,I think that slow russian videos are the best way to learn a language through a video as far as I'm concerned,
and it would be great if you can make that kind of videos...trust me...I've been looking everywhere and nobody makes this kind of videos(except 2 channels),and even though making slow russian videos they keep speaking fast rather than superslow,
so what I have been doing so far is the following...in order to fully understand the video I have to download the video and watch it through an editing software and slow down the speed..and obviously this is tedious and frankly it doesn't make any sense.
anyway...I hope you get the point,this is just a consideration and a suggestion.
you see...I have my own way to approach a language,but to me ...it is great to listen to superslow russian videos...I feel that my brain works easily and I'm getting to know the language like a child.
and thirdly...well,to have english and russian subtitles would be just AMAZING...so...think about that...I would follow you,subscribe,like every videos you make...and you could also consider open a patreon account in order to get extra cash from subscribers like me who are willing to have the best russian lessons videos.

English absolutely has double negatives. They are used and understood. The real difference is in the grammar police. The English language textbook writers decided it is improper. In Russia, they are more realistic than ideal.
KnowJesusKnowPeace double negatives in English make a positive... only uneducated or ignorant swine use double negatives in English.
In Russian you can have even quadruple negative like "He never did not say nothing to nobody"
Он никогда не расскажет ничего никому ни за что. 5 negative combo
