As a railfan who shares an interest in big diesels in general, that railway footage was the icing on the cake.
    2:53 - BHP 4340 and other are EMD SD70ACe/LCs powered by an EMD 16-710G3 16cyl 2-stroke engines.
3:20 - Rio Tinto 9121 and other are GE ES44ACis powered by 12cyl 4-stroke GE Evolution Series diesels (GEvo) which is why we call them "Gevos" here in the States.
You will notice "AC" in the model numbers for both. The diesels spin big alternators, which power AC motors "in the wheels" using inverters.
Great video, thank you for uploading!

I have massive respect here in America for truck drivers, and most of their trucks are often around 37 metric tons gross, though we have those that go over regularly. But you guys pulling 70+ metric tons gross, for often WAY further than we do in America, you guys rock. Also, y'all have some down right gorgeous trucks too, and that CAT V8 sounds glorious. We don't have many of those in trucks, the two 3408 engines I have seen in person were mobile generator sets.

The turbo was so freakin' loud in that thing you could hardly hear the UHF, hence the nickname.
