same, in a few games where its not necessary i mute myself completely and if i have to talk i wait a bit to see if they are ok or i talk immediately and if one sentence drops against woman they are muted. But yk it starts to fuck me up that games make me mad because of these guys

I once had really terrible wifi, my ping was over 3000 (I didn't even know that was even possible before), and I could literally not play. Luckily it wasn't in a rated game and my team wasn't mad. I decided to just be a distraction (surprisingly I died last a few times XD). After that game, I quit for the day cuz the wifi wasn't getting any better.
I have to go on the German servers because my ping is so bad for the London ones despite those being my closest… once I got in a game and my ping sat around 700 and it was like watching a slide show with me teleporting around a choke point
That’s a small amount of ping I was once so laggy the ping meter didn’t even move
I couldn't use abilities, had great difficulty buying guns and I didn't know where I was half of the time (was pretty funny but also a bit stressful)

Literally had a match of 4 toxic people in comp then saw this video. i'll never understand what people get out of insulting teammates mid match. it only makes things worse for you and the teammates

I played with a toxic player too recently, he was mad at me because we were 4 - 0 and lost a round, when the match was 7 6 he wanted to surrender and kept swearing at me in chat and I was like "yeah go ahead continue", we won the match and my other teammates kept trolling him in chat the whole match lmao, it was great

I started playing valorant because of my daughter! She’s only 15 and she’s already going plat. She also has a team of girls who are at ascendants and diamond! Bruh they are so good and so supportive of me, even when I always bottom frag! They made me enjoy the game so much. Fucking boys trashing on these women.

There was a girl (sage) in my team today ,and she was not helping the team and not healing teammates when they are low. she only heals her duo. To make it even worse she started to trash talk to other teammates even tho they did nothing wrong they even had kills then her . Some rounds later we surrendered :/

This is why finding wholesome lobbies ranked/unrated are a blessing. Havent really had people tell me to go back to the kitchen but had some supportive teammates to chill with.

As a South African, 190 ping is what I get on a good day😭
on a bad day i get 30 max ping
I have like 30 ping but on a bad day I get ping spikes every 15 seconds and at every start of the round that go to 4-6k ping good days are like 5 ping spikes or just small ping spikes throughout the game.
As a german I apologize for my countries gamers being literally the most toxic part of most gaming communities I have played in. Its absolutely insane

Had myself a toxic Sova that barely even use his util. Man would literally stand in the middle of BREEZE MID, watching doors, ignoring all other angles, and complain about dying and kill stealing when the supposed “kills” were literally halfway accross the map, and proceeded to converse with the other team complaining about us despite the fact we were communicating to eachother on what’s happening.
It makes me wish Valorant had a blocking function sometimes

the third time i played reyna (unrated), there was this instalock chamber who found out i was a girl, bcs they recognized me from tiktok, literally started talking shit about how bad my gameplay was, i ended up top fragging and they were bottom frag 💀

literally played with a toxic player yesterday , he was so mad that I was 0/6 on round 7 and I whiffed my shots while covering him , muted and went on with the game.
at that point I honestly didn't really care anymore that we lost. ( when I tried to unmute him , I saw him type in chat "REP SKYE" (me) , report for what lol)

The amount of toxic ppl in unrated is insane. I'm new to the game and encounter them all the time. The worse one was a chick flaming me because I was using a judge, and all I was doing was trying to get a hang of the guns

After watching this video, I feel like I have to share my personal experience here as it still haunts me to this day. I am a girl, playing on Singapore Server and I was only 1 month into the game. I decided to play comp since my friends wants to rank up. I usually play unrated, and only want to start ranking up when I understand the game more in depth. We were a trio and the duo who plays reyna and jett were being super toxic towards me. FYI, I NEVER TURNED ON MY MIC. My friends muted them but since I thought I needed comms info from our duelists, I left them unmuted. Not only were they being sexist, they were spewing out offensive and disturbing comments. It was really toxic, I was doing so bad. And at every round, they died on site once they entered, so three of us were planning to rotate. They started yelling for me (playing sage) to plant, I mean the site was not cleared and it was stupid to rush after them dying. They top fragged, and three of us did no trash talk aside from one of my friend calling them trashy for making comments like that. In the midst of the game, they were like "oh is viper your boyfriend, i can carry you better" and borderline harassing me further for the rest of the game. It was super high pressure as this is my first shooter game, my first ever PC game! It's sad that for this toxic players, it's just a game and their ego and for victims under these abuse, they take this into their personal life and lose the confidence in their gameplay. Like they weren't even punished for anything because everything was said in voice chat. Ever since then, I don't use mic unless I am doing well and only at the end of the match to say "gg" to the team.
You can always report for multiple things, among them "abuse of comms - voice and hate speech". You can also write in the report what was said for clarification.
I'm sorry you experienced that :( I recently started playing and am mainly playing spike rush or unrated, while playing comp with a friend. I do suck at the game, but I never understood why you would be toxic in a game anyway. You can't win all. Hopefully you will push through it and not let idiots get you down.
@Sroncal and by closing the game and letting people off acting like ruins it for everyone doesn't it? everyone deserves to play whatever they want to, but only you can control yourself. Doesn't mean that people can't try to be kinder to strangers who all share the same curiosity and interest to play valorant

Watching this game after getting trolled in ranked because they ‘just wanted to see my reaction’. I’ll be playing normally, I won’t even be talking and I’ll get teamflashed and team-mollied. I was so sick of playing with them that after clutching a 1v2 on match point I just didn’t defuse the spike because I wanted it to be over. Silver-bronze is a cesspool that will make you want to football spike a baby.

I remember I was playing ranked after losing like 4 games straight bc of just bad teammates, next day I hop on and I felt good about this game, the Reyna was like I haven’t played in a while and I said that’s fine people were talking it felt like a nice team, ( this is like S3 G1 lobbies?!?!? ) I can’t remember what started it but we were winning the first two rounds and for some reason our Reyna and Neon were just yelling at each other Reyna saying neon was boosted and Neon saying he was just a dumb piece of shit and both telling the other to get some kills when neither had any kills. Our raze and I tried to shut them up and play the game but we ended up surrendering 2 - 5
The problem about toxic players is even if your top fraging or bottom fraging is they are toxic to good thing im a nice player and when ever they kept annoying me i just lose my urge to win. That sucks bro.

Recently i had a match that went like this: We played about 3 rounds normally, then we learnt we played 5 stack vs 4 stack. We went to make photo with cypher cam and then we went to discord, played only using abilities and knife. It was so fun.

its really sad, i invited my little sister to play comp a few days ago and she didn't want to just because of the toxicity
the sad thing is what if a 4 stack decides to tell the other team that their 5th is toxic and he gets bullied by both teams.
Whenever stuff like this happens I record a clip of how boosted these toxic people are, and spam them with the clip.
that's why i only use chat box other than voice chat cause i can type fast than to experience this type of toxicity.

Same thing happened to me where we had a bot as a teammate, and we called the enemy team over to spawn to watch it and we were all vibin together until someone flashed everyone and I was like why not and I started knifing people because it's still competitive.

I had the same thing happen to my friend and I we were in a comp when I was s3 and he wasn’t ranked we played breeze and people were so toxic just because we had under 10 kills when it was 6-8. Then we got better and tried and tried and finally won in the end.
