for the dev, i believe they had invis on to test things beforehand and they accidentally left it on. it wasn't like they actually just cheated just left some settings on.
i have said, if you are a dev, you should be using a handful of studio wide testing accounts for this, and your actual developer/personal signature account that you want to go about playing the game on should be entirely separate, in my opinion...and you shouldn't be testing things in public servers or on public builds even anyways...real devs have a separate build or test build that they test new patches and updates on before release, like apex legends for example.
@@Eradicationist Yes, but the dev tool usually should not work on the live version of the game. Idk how H1Z1 devtools were made and how they tested out their game.

For the dev one, he wasn't cheating or using like exploits it was a dev command and he had accidentally left it on.
The dev wasn't cheating on purpose, he forgot to turn off "invisibility"
For the dev accidentally cheating, it was probably from a previous session of bug testing or possibly I’ve seen some do it to hunt for cheaters on their servers.

Man I remember when the intro clip happened in the siege community, it was actually so funny.
There are tons of streams in TikTok where cheaters play Valorant and they aren't even trying to hide their cheats
Some context for the siege clip, the cheater told the enemies to check his twitch when called out, one of them was GMZ (pro player / content creator) and he told the streamer to change a setting in obs, forget which and that made the cheats that were originally hidden from his stream show up
I imagine the clips where a team gets demolished is how John Wick must be seen by the people he kills.
Cheaters screwing up and getting caught makes my day.
for the guy in the orange shirt whos ban was apparently like famous or something, he was using this hack where basically if ur crosshair is on the head of the enemy it will shoot the bullet for you or something like that and you could see he wasnt clicking his mouse but he was still getting kills from the facecam

One of my friends bought a used motherboard and loaded up valorant for the first time into the practice range, immediately banned. He contacted riot and asked why, they told him the hardware was banned and that it would expire in 6 months. Sure enough 6 months later he logged in on the same machine and no issues, but they advised that these bans are usually permanent. So beware when you see a sweet used PC or motherboard deal.
how does Riot know? Vanguard is for that my friend and it has administrator permissions on your system. They're able to see all processes running on your computer, if you're fiddling with any game files or game memory and it's pretty hard to get around it.
There are a lot of situations in which it's not quite certain that you're hacking but you'll find that your in-game stats matter a lot to narrow down your cheating behaviour. They already know your headshot stats, wallbang stats etc and it's pretty easy to cross reference that. And yes, in order to be successful hacking not only you need a good hack but also mask it very well during gameplay.
there's a lot of cheating valorant livestream in tiktok and they basically play the whole match without getting banned

nearly every stream i see on tiktok are people that are using disgustingly strong cheats like F3 mode, giant guns, constantly spinning, wall hack and so on (on Valorant)
Some of those "cheaters" are not realy cheaters for example: 0:50 he got banned because of his ingame name (VAL CODE 4) and at
2:30 his account was logging in somewhere else so he could be haked. (VAL CODE 5).

the dev has permissions to change the logs same with valorant dev's... the man was cheating but not using cheating software, he was using his dev permissions.
with the dev hacks its not uncommon for them to exist for a few reasons, it can help with bug finding, there is also famous videos of people being punished in rust by the admins using cheats. final reason is for the novelty of it such as the GM things in old wow being turned into random objects by them. I can understand why a dev would have access to them but still would suck to have a game ruined by a dev forgetting to turn them off.
Totally agree. I understand why they were there. Dude was probably using then for something and then forgot to turn them off before playing a few games. Sucks for everyone involved

When a report is sent in the game runs a quick check on background programs. If anything is suspicious then it investigates the program and any connection it has with the game. Then BAM your banned. Like ip banned.

In Val there has been a wall hack that it's undetectable rn cause it's not using major outlines it uses small things like a crosshair for someone's small whereabouts, I met with a guy in my game who had it and threw when my Jett was talking shit to him

It's crazy because people like eggwick help perpetuate the narrative that there aren't that many cheaters in Valorant. That Phoenix with the sheriff literally jump shot 1 tapped while aiming to the right of him which looks like the hack determines how far off right the shot goes and locks onto that value away from the players head. I don't get how anyone could look at that and go, hmmm looks legit lol. I don't get why people REFUSE to believe that there's tons of undetected cheating going on in Valorant. People are just more careful with it because getting into ranked isn't as easy as just starting up a game. Unless they buy multiple accounts, they gotta grind up to level 20.

There was a guy hacking in my spike rush and he got banned 2 rounds in.
I had an interesting Val game where our team figured out that there was a cheater on the enemy side. Our top frag said "no worries, I can carry". Turns out he was cheating too. As the game progressed he was getting angrier and angrier. At some point both cheaters started to accuse each other and soon after the game got canceled. They both got banned. However I think games should segregate cheaters instead of banning them. I feel like most of them cheat to show other that they are "better". So, let's say, a cheating dog gets caught, if you just ban them they're most likely to make a new account and continue what they're doing. Instead, they would be placed against other scams. It will make competition between cheat makers, as well as easier time to expose cheats, AND frustrate 90% of the cheaters
When I used to play valorant there was this yoru that never missed a headshot and always knew where we were and then he got banned for cheating
people cheating in val can get caught even if they arent blatantly cheating. Valorants anti cheats has access to all your computer files, and it can tell when you have cheat software. Thats why if you close vangard on your pc, you won't be able to run valorant until you restart your PC

I dont think the h1z1 cheat was a traditional cheat I think it was like using commands in cs he was probably just doing something with them not trying to cheat

the last guy sunnyv2 usually probably used invisibility to ban cheaters and spectate suspicious behavior when reported to him, so that is my guess in why he had it on, but if you are a developer you should have two accounts for that, and actually playing the game, just to make sure you aren't bringing this stuff into the game.
the clip around 8:40 was not him being caught cheating. He does it on purpose. Lots of people stream their cheats on tiktok.

To be honest there are so many Valorant cheat sellers on Tiktok live.. Everytime I scroll my Tiktok, there's a seller who sells live cheats and they're all Vietnamese.. They're proud to selling that with the caption "Cheesy Valorant gameplay" or "Good gaming chair", and they're not detected by vanguard.. PLEASE RIOTTTTT!!!

Just ran into a hacker yesterday in a low gold ranked lobby named "daddyissues#333". He used sheriff and it was obvious right away. We forfeited 4th round, after 1 more game we all got in game chat notifications he was banned. He was also the obvious kind of hacker tryin to talk sh*t in game "ggez, skill diff, u suck, etc". Not first hacker ive encountered, but a very satisfying ban for sure

@@PabloE933 That is correct and I think 4 months is fine considering that most cheaters either lose interest in the game in that time or try to bypass it and you still lose all your accounts.

most cheaters are detected long before they get banned, they do delayed bans to keep the devs wondering if its actually been detected. could be days or weeks.

those where you dont see anything and valorant bans mean that they have cheated before and theres just delay, on bad cheats i believe its instant ban. I think it was called ban wave or something

I dont know if it was a hack or not but in destiny two ive had a moment where my character literally started sprinting to a specific point then stop, throw a grenade and turn around and punch the wall. Then control was back to me. Keyboard bugging or not i dont know. Still not sure if its possible for someone to take control of you without using some kind of remote access which requires you to give permission.

normally with anticheats they will detect funny business with windows apis. its a cat and mouse of people finding ways to detect something is running and people hiding something is running. its a pretty big red flag when a program runs and does something via a covert channel, they just need to find evidence of this occuring. the external hacks that let people record just use a seperate window that overlays on the game and they just dont capture it with obs, which is why we dont see anything when they are banned. even if nothing is visable theres always traces of this being loaded onto the system, its just a matter of finding those remains
sadly its quite common for games to depend far too much on anticheats and assume the client is trustworthy. this results in the server just accepting whatever from the client without validating it. such as the R6 Plant anywhere hacks, R6 Ban feed image hack, R6 kill in Prep hack, Apex Drop Bullets hack, etc

For the one in what, H1Z1? the devs one, it wasn't intentional, he just don't use a different account than his admin one to play, and before that he probably were noclipping invisible banning people for cheating before starting game normally. 😂
I think games should keep track of IP's and see if an account has been banned from that computer before so they can IP ban people. Cheaters sometimes cheat just for the fun of it and will keep coming back with a different account.
Most modern anti cheats do that with hwid bans, ip is not very reliable and also leads to many false bans
This is very, VERY wrong, there is a big reason nobody bans based on IP. CG NAT makes it so that many households can have the same public IP, therefor banning many households for one persons actions. Unplugging your modem and plugging it back in typically renews your public IP therin bypassing the ban and putting the IP back into the DHCP pool for someone else to get banned when they receive that IP. Overall its a horrible method for banning cheaters.

One time, there was a cheater in my unrated game...I'm not sure if the cheater was in my team or the enemy team but the enemy team was really upset that they were losing 0-7 to us...After the 7th round, vanguard immediately detected a cheat and terminated the match...😂I didn't know what was happening, I was just shocked that the game froze and the match got terminated...I thought my potato PC broke down LOL...#saynotocheating

Imput on the idea of banning all hackers from all games. I think it wouldnt go well just due to people like me, hacked a little one time back in the day and then has now been clean for upwords of 5 years. I know its a small amout of us that got clean and realized how actually stupid. And eggwick just so you know, the H1Z1 dev wasnt cheating on purpouse. Developers have dev tools on there accounts for bug testing, and fixing. It was explained that the invisability/ghosting tool was left on from a round of bug testing and fixes prior to him loading into a lobby to play. Just a simple mistake, judging by how sorry he was, there was no intent to do any sort of harm to the other players.
I cheated in CSGO because the game made me toxic and I couldn’t stop. Went into a death match and just went blatant af. Never cheated in any other game. CSGO just makes me toxic af
i've played against a hacker on my rank up match to Asecndent.. We lost 13-0. He got 7 Ace's. We did report him every single Round but he never got banned. Then after 12-0 all of us just stayed on spawn for the rest of the match. It was really stressing after that i lost 13 match non stop. I did submit a ticket and send 3-4 videos of the hacker to Riot. They responded : Bad things happen all the time, Hopefully i'm not gonna end my journey in valorant for this. It's been almost a month yet whenever i think of that day i wish if i could throw a punch on that piece of trash hacker's face.
