@@bucktheguyy I've seen Willy talk about the waterfall before, but I wasn't sure where he meant. I don't often go down by the hat mouse. Now I know, thanks Aubrey!
when i went to the festival and Emily told me she'd get a look that matched my energy or something along these lines, and I was all excited for what I'd get... She dressed me in LITERAL garbage clothes. I was so mad lmao Another day, Emily was a vendor, so Sandy dressed me up instead, and she was both funny and actually got me a cute set with a green dress and a cute headband, and everything matched. So yeah, I now like Sandy more, and i'm still mad at Emily lmao
My first time at the calico festival emily turned me into a mouse and it was cute but i wasnt so sure about it. After seeing your outift i will wear my mouse outfit with pride
omg this video was sooo good, you're a great storyteller!! Couldn't believe when i scrolled down and realize you're not super famous.. Keep going, loved it!😄 The end specially was amazing hahahaha
Getting sea jelly on day 2 and then the better fishing rod day 3 was brilliant for getting the goby and potential catfish 🤩 I tried getting the festival unlocked year 1 by fishing but I was one day off 😭 I think this brilliant tactic would've made the difference 🤞😏
May I ask to see you do a challenge? You've probably heard of the Hermit Challenge, where you do not leave your farm except once per year, and try to make a million dollars. I'd like to suggest a variation where you would use only your farm and the Cindersap map, and the goal is to complete the Community Center. You also need to befriend as many people as possible up to full hearts (meaning 8 hearts for marriage candidates). Can you befriend the entire town? If not, how many do you think you can? How fast can you complete the CC? The Movie Theater? How fast do you think you could reach a million dollars? How many other goals could you reach, such as catching all the fish or completing the museum? I'd leave it to you to choose goals you think sound worthwhile. Exceptions to the challenge are also open to your discretion. You can choose to truly never leave the area, leave only one day per year, or leave only one day per season. Maybe no leaving the farm for the first year, and only once per year/season after that? Your call, according to your goals. The other variable is how far the territory extends. You absolutely cannot go into Pelican Town or the Mountains, except on those free days. But you might choose access to the Backwoods road, the Bus Stop, and the Secret Woods without breaking the spirit of the challenge. You might decide that a Beach Warp is acceptable, since it doesn't take you through town. You might even decide the Desert and Skull Cavern are acceptable, for the same reasons. You might also access Krobus if possible, since there's a sewer entrance available. Might you decide the Quarry is acceptable, or the Mines, if you only go there by minecart and never enter the forbidden areas? Up to you. You would be free to attend any festivals that spawn in Cindersap, or other areas if you choose to attend on one of your Free Days. I'd be fascinated to see how you would interpret these challenges, and how you would approach beating them! You might call it the Cindersap Challenge, or maybe stick with Hermit, or Boycott Town, or something else you make up. IDK it'd be up to you to customize it to your intentions and backstory. Please consider doing this! I've never seen anybody else do this variation and you would be so awesome at it!
Oooh, I really like this concept! Have to say you got my brain spinning on the possibilities with this one. It is definitely going on my short list of challenge ideas. Do you have a farm type you think would complement the challenge?
@@AubreyAngst Different farms would all bring a different spin to the challenge, that's for sure. I'm doing the Meadowlands farm because I love animals, and starting with chickens is such a huge boost! But the Beach farm is tempting, since you can fish many types of ocean fish there, while getting most of the freshwater fish from Cindersap. And the beach crates might be nice. But mostly that farm works best as animal-intensive, as well as trees if you can make them profitable somehow. Most people would probably choose the Four Corners farm though, because of the quarry and the section that gives guaranteed mixed seeds. But I find that farm a little boring. I'm still excited about the Meadowlands farm because it's just so stunning with its waterfalls etc. It's beautiful enough that I don't mind being trapped there. I'm doing the free day once per season. I like having it to plan for carefully, to get the best day to get most things done. But I know I can't do everything in year one, so I have to allow room for year two plans, if I can. What I really don't want is just to play another run where it all comes down to ancient fruit monoculture. That's why I'm looking for as many different types of goals as I can. I'm already surprised in this run to see how many people actually do enter Cindersap! Elliot, Willy, Lewis, Abigail, Haley, and Penny all come there one day a week in Spring. And there's the Flower Dance and the Ice Fishing day, and the Trout Derby to think about. It's a lot more interaction than most people might realize at first.
i love ur videos so freaking much, i’ve been rewatching ur 2 stardew movies EVERYDAY. ur commentary is funny, your voice is so pretty. i love love love ur videos 🤍
Yeah, not sure. It's technically cheaper to complete the CC bundle, but going straight JoJa means you don't have to worry about collecting items for the bundles needed to actually unlock the vault - so really a matter of playstyle and if that extra 2500 is a deal breaker on JoJa
the "goby" caught me by surprise 😭 70+ hours in my 1.6 save and I never saw one before, literally said what the fuck is a goby when u got it pftttt
Honestly, I would have never thought to fish in the waterfall unless I knew it was there. CA really loves to hide stuff on us 😅
@@AubreyAngst willy actually hints about the fish you can catch in the waterfalls when you talk to him sometimes
