1. No torso articulation? Yes there is. Try moving the waist, there's a swivel. 2. Put some nail polish on those ball joints. 3-5 coats will do the trick, depending on how tight you want them. 3. The LED light is green. Magnus' eyes are green. -_-
I got this figure and transformed it a few times and I like it. Robot mode is great. I understand he has a lot of blue...but it fits without any distraction in my opinion. The weapon is great for the fact that you can lock it into place. The only issue I had was the ball joints. But that is easily fixed with some nail polish. Oh...and the second weapon is really reminiscent of his G1 missile launcher. I normally like Spadas reviews but not on this one. I recommend to get this guy if you see him.
You know what would probably make him better? If there was some white on him. That blue and the paintjob in general is so dull, and it makes no sense. If you look at Thundetron, the blue and white compliment each other perfectly. The paintjob on him looks stunning! And yet they barely put any effort into Ultra Magnus.
Don't know why every is dissing the RID line all the time. I mean sure, it could be a lot better without all the gimmicks and more paint, BUT THESE ARE FOR KIDS! Who cares if the gimmick on the weapon isn't show accurate, kids would love a gun that turns into a hammer! Balt, I respect your views on the figure, though I'll have to check this one out in person because I love the design.
I don't know if you have seen Peaugh's review but he fixed the ball joints for the shoulders by using some tape. It seems to have worked really well for him
i know this is a late ass comment but i only just thought this up. if you flip the hammer head back around when its in hammer mode you can use it for an anti air gun for vehicle mode or a very weird bazooka sorta weapon if you put it ontop of the cab with the hammer head side facing forward
I have the same shoulder issue with Megatron from the Voyager class too...barely able to hold his cannon up. I'm rectifying that my modding the cannon to no longer have the LED/Sword function
This figure is actually not that bad. It does have waste articulation and the back pack does not interfere with it. The ball joint shoulders do suck out of the box but its a nice figure. The big ass hammer is great after you fix the shoulders so he can actually pose with it.
People, please quit whining and threatening to unsubscribe. Everybody has their bad reviews. It is clear that Spada just doesn't like this figure. We all have those figures that just rub us the wrong way. This just happens to be one of those for Spada. Please be open minded and think objectively before doing something irrational.
I will say the LED thing was a bit much but come people, the figure has quality control issues, Issues ive personally had with FE Cliffjumper which I havent since bothered to rebuy cuz the mold is simply flawed by design. even if the figure looked better, if the plastic feels cheap, if the joins are gonna be wabbler then a Beast Wars toy in a month, is it worth dropping 30 dollars on? Probably not,
I really like UM, the arms are an easy fix ...I just wish he came with 2 missiles ( i'm buying a second one for the missile and giving the figure to my nephew) I think he is one of the better Prime RID voyagers.
This video was a rant more than a review. Altough I accept your opinion, I completely disagree with you on this figure. Yes there is to much blue, but he looks like Ultra Magnus should, which is tough, no nonesense, and downright powerful. This figure nails that perfectly. Also,though I hate the powerizer weapons, the Arms Microns are about as equally pathetic. How about we get show accurate weapons instead of flip out weapons or ones that turn into little robots?
Yeah the transformation is lame, but I like the robot mode, for the paint apps issue, reprolabels just release a set for him that really improve the overall look
you have to give them some credit there starting to work on the powerizer snapin to place problem which for some of us is good if i took mine apart i woundn't be able to reassemble it(i tryed before)

the microns are not all bad I mean the voyager class arms micron figures come with better weapons AM-01 optimus comes with a more acurate gun megatron comes with a more accurate gun dreadwing to and Ultra magnus comes with an epic micron

Entirely too much nerd rage in the comments, I think. People talking about unsubscribing just because they didn't like this review? Kind of subscriber you're better off without. To be fair, though, the review was a little over the top and could have stood to point out positive features a little more (Some of the molding on this figure is very nice) and some of it was just a little silly, such as complaining about the LED color. But overall It was a persuasive argument for me. Cyberverse for me.
looks like it's HFTD Breacher al over again. You're complaining about poor quality control, mostly with the loose shoulder ball-joints, which is fixable. the Deco-issues I can understand, as that's a matter of opinion. But everything else just about is a QC issue, thus essentially making the recommendation biased.
The figure is great, yes the blue is too predominant, but with a little tiny touch ups it can look very very good! paint his belly gray like it shows in the box and makes a huge diference, the hammer is the first powerizer weapon that I actually like from all previous RID voyagers, why is the light green, maybe coz it goes with the figure's eyes... my god arms micron, those are the crappiest thing I have ever seen, those stupid srping toys are dumb, but the microns are just plain stupid as hell!

I saw this guy today at Walmart, and he just looks pretty... off. I don't like him, especially his head sculpt. Thundetron on the other hand, is great.

I should point out that Ultra Magnus does have a torso swivel. If you turn the upper body around you'll see why.

There's a fix for the loose ball joints. You take a paper towel and tear a small piece off and stuff it inside the socket and then reattach it
I think that Optimus's LED was green as well Spada. Blue LEDs are never used on Transformers because they're too expensive

I think the robot mode looks fine, if not, pretty cool. I do agree about the colorsbeing rathe bland though, especially on the legs.
You CAN actually peg the shoulders pieces on the cab of the truck, on 2 little tabs. Check my ( french) review!

There's a tab on the cab that can slot into the back of the chest/arm joints.
My biggest gripes are the plastic feels so thin when transforming - and the upper arms are very small... it JUST misses for me.

When the assault rifle is in hammer mode,you can try using the smaller handle. It has better balance this way,peaugh has tried already.

The cyberverse figure looks more like ultra Magnus rather than the voyager.

Looks like most of the paint app budget for this wave wasn't used on Magus.
I'd like to buy him, if he is released in here, but price of powerizers is a robbery here (40€) while deluxes are only less then 20€

its not a bad figure. just tighten the shoulders and it will be fine, and the plastic on mine is an okay quality. i think thats just on your figure.
