This is VULNERABLE for me - but so are growing pains and making new friends and falling in love...aka all of the best things. Thank you for being here, thank you for watching
That’s crazy that the journal was as old as him when you met him and that it was made in the state AND city he grew up in! 😳 That’s beyond coincidence.
I find it really interesting how you found the love of your life a bit after you learnt to be content with being single. It shows how you must love and be comfortable with yourself before the (near) perfect relationship!
I wrote “Tina new upload” in my bujo today because I had a lot of stressful tasks to get done and I needed something to look forward to. So glad I’ve got your channel to look forward to again.
I just found you! I LOVED this video! I have been journaling since I was about ten...some journals were thrown away because of a breach of trust with my mom...hugely changed the way I expressed myself. I do journal in a similar fashion, so it is really fun to see your process and history! I am 63 now, and keep a notebook for my various projects...it helps to have a notebook-composition books mostly, for each project because then I can find notes more easily. I am a retired special ed teacher, and have always loved chronicling life! So excited to see through fresh eyes...yours! Thank you for this beautiful journaling video that will inspire so many!
every time i watch one of your videos, i immediately run to my journal before the video is over. you're such a huge inspiration to me and my relationship to my journaling, and it brings me so much joy. thanks for always sending me the spark i need to ignite my creative fire
Again, so many things I want to say! I watched your video while eating sweet potato and butternut squash soup with bread I baked and I felt so cozy listening to your voice during a whole hour. This is bittersweet for me, because I believe my journal collection would look like yours if I hadn't threw them all out... For some reasons, I picked up the awful habit to rip out the pages from my journal as I wrote. I unfortunately have 0 journal from before because of this. I kept nothing. I have only been able to keep a journal again this year, and, so far I have 2 journals completed and I'm so proud of myself, but I feel so sad for all the memories I've lost. Anyway, it was really exciting to see your whole journal collection and it just reminds of how important it is to treasure these notebooks! I hope you will post a NaNoWriMo vlog for this year as well! I've really enjoyed watching your previous vlogs and you inspired me to participe for the first time ever in the challenge! You honestly help me with my creativity and I am so thankful for your channel. You have such a beautiful energy and I really hope you are aware of how much you've helped others! Thank you for everything you do!
yes, as a young person (until i was like 14) i always felt the need for my work to be perfect and have no flaws, i wanted my work to always look like a pinterest board- so i threw it all away. its unfortunate that i lost so much due to that stupid insecurity. but now i have more journals that i have saved and allowed myself to be free and creative in :)
I don’t think there are enough words to share my excitement for this video! Your journal collections have been a safe place for me that I often turn to when I feel low and seeing this new one honestly fills me with joy
Your passion for journaling just shines in this video. I think it's so important for people to see the journey to a more creative style and understand that everyone's journey is unique. Thanks for sharing! As a fellow journaler and youtuber, I've really been enjoying your content :)
The intro is so cozy! 💚 how fascinating that you’ve captured the essence of all your past Tinas and can revisit them in all those journals, like you’re truly visiting old versions of yourself on a page.
Speaking as a 31 year old: yes to journaling now! Write down all the feelings and thoughts and things you think are weird or even seem cringey now, because when you're older you'll look back with love on who you were when you wrote it💕
i started journals a lot and i have a lot of unfinished ones from when i was younger but i’m committing myself now to being more consistent at 20 (about to turn 21 in three months)
I love how I can see the progression of how a person develops cognitively and emotionally in each stage of childhood through adulthood through your journaling journey. From concrete to the slow introduction of grasping the abstract in life. I always loved writing too, but never really fell into the habit/discipline of daily writing until I was in my 30s. Thank you for being so open with your life.
Not sure why but I dumped several of my journals only to realize that was not a good idea. I can't go back and now I keep them even if I don't finish one. I do mostly art journaling, memory keeping, doodles and junk journaling. They reflect where you have been and where you are going. I love to follow people who do lots of journaling and get inspiration for mine, Thank You
It's amazing how journal affects our life tremendously. Like in just 1 book itself, it holds alot of our life from every bits. And you keep on writing and writing and when you realised, you have just finished 1 book so you start a new one and it repeats. So imagine that one day while you were cleaning, you found a box filled with your completed journals and you re-read them and it brings back good and sad memory and how you wish you could turn back time and witness it all over again 🥲 and imagine that one day in the future, someone would create a time machine or what sort and travel to the year that is written in your journal and be able to witness the past, thanks to your writing. I'm currently on my 2nd book so I hope I could continue to write till I can't write anymore. I aim to write and fill my box with all of my completed journals so that in every 5 years, I'd read everything back and see what changes I've made.
Omg what u said about using music! That’s exactly what I did in all my high school journals, I’d have what I call “lyric logs” where I wrote down lyrics that I related to, or loved, and if I was playing a song while writing, I’d write at the top “currently listening to: “ and now when i read back on all my journals, I can see how much my music taste evolved and it’s fun to relisten to songs I wrote down and being taken back to that moment!
I always thought journaling in a diary had to be traditionally, writing pages after pages and that's why I never keep up with my diaries, but you made me realized that it doesn't necessarily have to be just writing, and that it is really personal!♡
I feel like this year I’ve had what sounds like the near-equivalent of your 2014 year… just a lot of darkness and a great deal of struggle in trying to wade through looming amorphous, indiscernable shadows. Of course, I wouldn’t wish this sort of turmoil on anyone, but it brought me comfort to hear you talk about how difficult 2014 was for you- it made me feel like maybe I won’t always be this stuck. It’s also comforting to know that 2014 you was probably around the same age as me currently? Right now I am two years post-undergrad, which has been quite a painful and ongoing adjustment for me, adapting to the world without formal education as my backbone. Anyways, thank you for your transparency in acknowledging the heaviness of certain spans of your life. It is beyond helpful to those like me, searching for something to make sense of experiences which often otherwise feel quite hopelessly futile.
This video💚💚💚. I loved the story about the journal and when you met your husband. I looked up the company and couldn’t find anything. 😔 I hope one day you find it or something like it!
I’ve been saving this video. I’m having a regroup day today, I’ve had a lot of losses this past week and I’m just about surviving. When I first discovered you years ago, it was wonderful to watch your videos and growth, and this is amazing to be able to place more of your experiences around those times. I feel honoured to have watched you grow into yourself. You ground me.
Thank you so much for the kind words, Liam. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through such a dark time of loss. Thinking of you and happy that I can provide a moment of comfort
This is perhaps one of my most favourite videos on TH-cam, ever! I have had a similar journey with journalling, and this video has taught me so much more about self acceptance and embracing the different chapters of life. Honestly, it made me feel much less lonely in my own journalling practice, because I've felt like needing to write for my mental well-being is a luxury and sometimes perceived as a weakness or indulgence. It's only after therapy that I'm becoming more okay with needing to process things in my own way. So thank you so much for this video, I feel incredibly seen! Lots of ❤️ ☀️
This was so cool to watch and listen as someone who's been keeping up with you and watching for years! You are/were such a huge part of my journaling journey and I watched this today while writing in my journal (again) which was like a collision of worlds because you were reminiscing and I was there with you going back to the days when I would watch your videos and journal. Life is crazy ❤️
I just found your channel because it got recommended to me. And I was watching and all of a sudden I hear Qatar... OMG; I LIVE IN QATAR! One important thing I relate to in this video is that focusing too much on aesthetics just gets in my way (i.e. I won't be able to journal everyday). I want to write everyday to connect with myself and thoughts. Thank you for sharing this amazing journey of your journals.
I'm soooo excited to watch this, especially as it's 59 minutes long!!! I'm so happy, like you're so inspiring and you've really been a huge influence in my journals I write for my ptsd and healing, I'm so glad you're posting videos again, you're angel! 💓😊
Oooh can't wait to watch this tbrought the day! Also at the beginning I think you were talking about the Dear America book series which actually inspired me to journal about current events as well as regular silly stuff lol
I just moved out from Qatar a year ago after having been born and raised there, so I did a double take when you said you guys lived there for a while lol. Small world!
the most awaited video! what a trip, journal #50 was the only one I recognized from previous videos, it stuck in my mind because its so beautiful and unique
This is one of my favorite videos. I always find myself coming back to this video and her love story video. Beautiful. Especially since Tina isn’t currently making videos I come back to watch these when I’m in the mood.
I’ve journaled off and on throughout the years but recently have gotten back into daily journaling because of you. I love your videos and your sunshine personality
That was amazing. I've journaled on and off through the years I've been on for more than a decade now. I did journal in high school but my mom had a love affair with the garbage and managed to throw away my junk journals, art journals and even art work I had created in high school so I have nothing of that time in my life where I went through so many changes and learned to survive alone. You will leave your kids a great history. Which is what I dream of but it seems like no one around me is interested in journaling. Not even my friends. So I continue on this journey that has seen me through many many bright and dark days. I love that you've managed to bring it all together in one journal. I've done the same. Easier I guess.Thank you for sharing it was inspiring.
I ❤️ this ! I never counted my journals but I have a couple huge crates of them….started journaling at age 8 …….I have also thrown a away about 10 journals as I felt they were too mundane and not worth keeping sometimes I think about having a big bonfire one day to burn them all to represent letting go of the past ! ……….but I really need the documentation ……especially to remind me of all the boundaries I have had to make with certain people in my family and life .I still journal today…it’s therapy for me ….. I need to take all my journals out like you and display them and do an Instagram photo of them .😃🥰👍🙏😍🤩 📖 📕 📚 I used the artists way technique of journaling ….for a few years …..3 morning pages a day .
I just wanted to say how happy and grateful I am that you are back. I love your authenticity and this channel has definetely been one of my favorites for the past few years💕
I tried to journal at various points when I was a kid and teen but it never stuck. Then I started a notes to my future self type notebook when I was in college and whenever I have stuff I want to note I write it down. That began as close to a “regular” journal as I have ever had, although 4 years later I am still only in my second book. Then I got into fountain pens a year and a half ago and look for excuses to write so I have been getting more regular with it.
Tina, thanks for sharing your journaling collection with us! Like you said, it is amazing for journalers to be able to hold their own history in their hands. They are tangible memories that can transport us back in time, and perhaps in the future serve to transport someone else back in time. Yay for journaling!
what an amazing video Tina! i also started journaling early but all of my early ones are nowhere to be found or i probably ripped the pages off. i started getting "serious" about it during 9th grade as well and now, in college, it's just a part of me. i love journaling so much. it was fun watching this video and seeing how you grew!!
Wow Tina ! Thank you so much for this video!! You've always inspired me but now you also give me hope. The light that came from you after journal 50 was just so beautiful! How you talked about your life taking off, you have no idea how much I needed to hear this!!! Thank you thank you thank you ! I hope to feel this joy and have such treasures written in my journals soon ❤ sending you so much love !
♥️♥️this was worth every single minute. Thank you for sharing this with us. It is incredible to see how your physical journal preferences have gotten smaller
Hi Tina this is AMAZING! What an awesome collection! I loved every second of listening to you talk about your experience. Just like I was listening to a friend. :) I've journaled for a lot of my life as well, especially in recent years. It is such a great feeling to hold a completed journal in your hands. Thank you for sharing all of this. I very much appreciated discussing your favorite kinds of paper and your thoughts and preferences on the paper in your journals. lol I love paper, and I regularly glue and tape all sorts of things into my journals. I'm a huge composition notebook fan! Thanks for this view into your journaling experience.
BRAVE and AMAZING! The authentic, genuine and heartfelt connection to you and your journals brings a renewed sense of hope! Thank you sooo much for sharing. Shine bright and keep on sharing! Your videos are making that type of difference in so many of our lives. Cheers!!!
I like the small sketchbooks I get from Walmart. I keep it in my back pocket. When something comes up, I get an idea, I can pull it out and write it down.
i've been secretly waiting for a video like this for so long and it's amazing to see all your journals! i've been journaling for most of my life (i started when i was nine and i just had my 10th anniversary on the first of this month) and you're such an inspiration. greetings from finland
Your videos always make me so happy! You were beaming when talking about your husband-related journals. I’d love to hear about your love story through a flip through 🥺🤍
i watched this entire video and it has inspired me to pick up my journal which i havent done in a little while. it was also inspiring to see how you got over those dark times in your life and now you look so happy! thank you
i’ve been hoping you’d post a video about how you’ve journaled while you took a break ❤️ and it was everything i’d hoped! loved this video and love how you talk about journaling!
Absolutely loved this video! Happy to seenyou are back making videos. I stumbled across your channel just as you left the country. I binged a bunch of your old videos. Now I am catching up on your newer ones. Happy journaling.
🥰 this was such a beautiful experience. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your passion and love with us. I can totally relate. I don’t know what I’d do without my journals..
I loved this video! Thank you so so much for sharing your journey with us 🥰 it was so inspiring to see all of your journals (and emotional after journal number 50 🥰 I couldn't stop smiling!) I'm so happy for you ❤
Girl you are GLOWING! Your old flip throughs in 2014 and 15 you were so sad and watching you here is so neat! You don't seem as sad because you know how your story ends. Its amazing to see you so happy. I can it describe the amount of joy I felt seeing you so joyful after watching videos of you so sad. You are proof that life does get better and even after going through it, you can still find the light at the end of the tunnel. And its so cool that the evidence of it is through journals! I adore you and am so soo happy you're happy!!! Also, I think we all want to hear that epic love story 😏😏😍
Tina, thank you so much for this beautiful video ❤️ Everything was so honest, raw and vulnerable. One of the best videos about journaling - and life actually. Thank you so much for your generosity 💕
this video has been out for a week but I've only just gotten to sit down and watch it... I wanted to make sure I was in the right headspace for it and able to journal as I watched 😊 this was a really interesting video and I love how it was like a journaling version of a "draw my life" video... but instead you told your life through the stories you've written down throughout it!!! such a cool way to do a journal collection! glad things are looking up in life again ❤I would love to hear about you and luke's love story! I remember those journals you said you were in when you met him so It's exciting to think back on those times through your videos and see all the good that was coming for you 🌼
Usually I don’t write any TH-cam comments but this is just astonishing! Such a huge collection! It’s soo impressive to keep a journal for such a long time. May I ask how you store your journals? Do you just put them on your shelf or do you store them in a box? Like, they have so many different sizes.. How do you prevent them from getting damaged over time? 😅
TINA! I just came back from Michael’s and they have the three section journals with craft paper in the middle again this year! I was so excited; I loved seeing that journal in your videos a few years ago but couldn’t find one at my own stores. I definitely snagged one this time!
This is truly inspiring! :) Thank you so much for sharing. For me, journaling is almost like magic. Being able to see exactly how you thought is just amazing, probably the closest thing to time-traveling we have right now.
So beautiful and calming! I’ve been journaling since childhood as well, but my impulsive Gemini self has thrown so many away 🙃😭 sometimes I wish I could go back and peek at past selves. I’ve kept all of them starting around 2015 though so 🙏 no more impulse purging. I used to journal sporadically but remember finding you and I think you talked about the artists way and I was like oh, stream of consciousness?! And now I’m out here scribbling 10 pages a day and sticking pictures and paints and all the things. You positively changed the way I journal. I also became a teacher! Wild, anyways, thanks for being open with us♥️♥️♥️
Hi! First of all, THANK YOU so much for sharing your beautiful journey with us! I also really love writing and you inspire me a lot to keep it up. I can really see in your eyes how much you enjoy it and that's beautiful. It's a pleasure listening to you, always. Lots of love from Spain ♥
Idk how to describe it but Tina, just the way you talk about your own life with so much honesty, acceptance and self compassion has really really reallyyyy helped me accept myself and ly own life experiences, and embrace my own tough times and I'm just so grateful for that ❤🌿 Also, I wonder if you would ever consider publishing your journals...not the personal stuff obviously, but the beautiful creative and artsy bits, the collages, poems and musings... 🙈👉👈
I love this video!! I enjoy journaling as well in 2018 I started to decorate my journals!! I didn’t journal as much in high school but I started it then. I wished I did when I was younger but yeah.
Omg! haha I got my first Dairy in 4th grade too and it was the same style locking diary. Except mine is a light pastel purple with a unicorn and butterflies. I named mine based on the boy or celebrity I had a crush on at the time 🤣
How do feel about Howard Stern being such a fan of yours? Has there been a positive response due to him speaking about on his show? I’m just curious. I have listened to his show occasionally and heard him speaking highly of you and was just wondering if it has a positive reaction from this.
did you finish all these journals??? Can you give tips as to how you finished them? I've had the same journal for 3 years just because I'm so inconsistent and feel like I need to finish this journal before I start another one.
There is nothing wrong in taking a long time to finish a journal. My record is 3 and a half years for less than 200 pages. Just keep writing in the pace you like and it will be done eventually
I absolutely adore that Journal #50 was such a fateful journal!! So cool!!! I am 31 years old, and I've been journaling since i was 15 too!! Sadly, in a fit of emotion, I threw away the journals from my teenage years (I was abused in my childhood, and had a fit of "I DONT WANT ANY OF THIS ANYMORE"), lol. I regret it SO MUCH. But, i do have all the journals from when i met my Husband, all the way up to when He Passed. And now, i write letters in my journal to Him every day. I'm at Journal #60
I just have a quick question am I too old to journal because I’m 34 years old now and I just got into journaling is that too old or can I still continue?
Oh my gosh I know exactly the book series you're talking about with the diaries...I LOVED those, I never heard of anyone else reading them! I think they were called Dear America or something?
This is VULNERABLE for me - but so are growing pains and making new friends and falling in love...aka all of the best things. Thank you for being here, thank you for watching
This is my new comfort video. I have a feeling I will return again and again and again to this vibey comfy video 🥰
@@rebeccastearmer4290 the video like just came out and I’ve watched it three times today! 🙂

✨ The Destiny Journal ✨
@@platonicsage1298 that is too true

It's a small world! We adore Qatar - it will always have a special place in our hearts
the most awaited video! what a trip, journal #50 was the only one I recognized from previous videos, it stuck in my mind because its so beautiful and unique
This is one of my favorite videos. I always find myself coming back to this video and her love story video. Beautiful. Especially since Tina isn’t currently making videos I come back to watch these when I’m in the mood.
Love seeing all the journals lined up like that. What a collection! Thank you for sharing with us.
Hey there!! My name is Virginia too!!!
@@itsabelletime Always lovely to meet a fellow Virginia. I usually go by Ginny.
I ❤️ this !
I never counted my journals but I have a couple huge crates of them….started journaling at age 8 …….I have also thrown a away about 10 journals as I felt they were too mundane and not worth keeping
sometimes I think about having a big bonfire one day to burn them all to represent letting go of the past ! ……….but I really need the documentation ……especially to remind me of all the boundaries I have had to make with certain people in my family and life
.I still journal today…it’s therapy for me …..
I need to take all my journals out like you and display them and do an Instagram photo of them .😃🥰👍🙏😍🤩 📖 📕 📚
I used the artists way technique of journaling ….for a few years …..3 morning pages a day .
Literally incredible, you’re such an inspiration, Tina!! Thank you so much for being so open about this amazing hobby :)
I’ve watched this so many times but I just love this video so much
Hi Tina this is AMAZING!
Why does her channel make me so happy? 🤣🤣😍
i've been secretly waiting for a video like this for so long and it's amazing to see all your journals! i've been journaling for most of my life (i started when i was nine and i just had my 10th anniversary on the first of this month) and you're such an inspiration. greetings from finland
Can you make a journaling “guide” on healing and prompty type things on how to find yourself? maybe poetry or brain dump ideas??? 🥰🥰
Your videos always make me so happy! You were beaming when talking about your husband-related journals. I’d love to hear about your love story through a flip through 🥺🤍
i watched this entire video and it has inspired me to pick up my journal which i havent done in a little while. it was also inspiring to see how you got over those dark times in your life and now you look so happy! thank you
Such a special video. Such a special collection of life Souvenirs.
i’ve been hoping you’d post a video about how you’ve journaled while you took a break ❤️ and it was everything i’d hoped! loved this video and love how you talk about journaling!
How did I not see this until now? Tina, I missed you! You're awesome, and as always, I love your journal videos. 😊
Absolutely loved this video! Happy to seenyou are back making videos. I stumbled across your channel just as you left the country. I binged a bunch of your old videos. Now I am catching up on your newer ones. Happy journaling.
here because howard stern talked about you on his show. glad to be here!
🥰 this was such a beautiful experience. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your passion and love with us. I can totally relate. I don’t know what I’d do without my journals..
I'm here because of Howard Stern!!
I heard about you from the howard stern show!!! awesome collection!!!
I loved this video! Thank you so so much for sharing your journey with us 🥰 it was so inspiring to see all of your journals (and emotional after journal number 50 🥰 I couldn't stop smiling!) I'm so happy for you ❤
I LOVE seeing all of Tina's journals again from her old flip through videos!! SO cool!!!
You are so i nspiring! I just found you ton 59:44 ight. Im going to watch all of your entries. ❤️❤️❤️
OMG. OH. MY. GOD. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
It's great to see you back Tina!
can't explain how much i loved this
Love this video! And I love that you show just writing, too. It’s nice to embrace that some pages don’t have to have pretty things :)
I loved this tour of your journals and your journey! Great video.
this video has been out for a week but I've only just gotten to sit down and watch it...
From what I have seen she keeps them in these huge plastic bins
TINA! I just came back from Michael’s and they have the three section journals with craft paper in the middle again this year! I was so excited; I loved seeing that journal in your videos a few years ago but couldn’t find one at my own stores. I definitely snagged one this time!
This is truly inspiring! :)
Thank you so much for sharing.
Wild, anyways, thanks for being open with us♥️♥️♥️
Ohh my god I'm gonna get a nice cup of tea for this one!
What a fun video! I loved traveling back through the journals with you.
Hi! First of all, THANK YOU so much for sharing your beautiful journey with us! I also really love writing and you inspire me a lot to keep it up. I can really see in your eyes how much you enjoy it and that's beautiful. It's a pleasure listening to you, always. Lots of love from Spain ♥
I also love how beautiful it is to see that every time you go through stages in your journals you go up the stairs :)
IM SORRY, IS THIS AN HOUR LONG JOURNAL VIDEO FROM MY FAVORITE PEROSN ON YT??
Guess dinner is going to have to wait another hour 😍😍
Idk how to describe it but Tina, just the way you talk about your own life with so much honesty, acceptance and self compassion has really really reallyyyy helped me accept myself and ly own life experiences, and embrace my own tough times and I'm just so grateful for that ❤🌿
Also, I wonder if you would ever consider publishing your journals...not the personal stuff obviously, but the beautiful creative and artsy bits, the collages, poems and musings... 🙈👉👈
I love this video!! I enjoy journaling as well in 2018 I started to decorate my journals!! I didn’t journal as much in high school but I started it then. I wished I did when I was younger but yeah.
How beautiful!! This made me want to call home and ask my family to find my old journals from storage and ship them to me🥰
Did you hear your positive press on Howard stern?
Have you lived in the second house all these years? How did you saved all of them?
I've been waiting on a girl like you
To come and show your journal collection
I've been waiting!!! Hihihi
Nice video Tina like always
I was waiting for this and wow 1 hour, 1 hour this is a dream🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I'm going to install myself with my favorite drink❤️
Omg! haha I got my first Dairy in 4th grade too and it was the same style locking diary.
I was stuck here before.. my advice is to just push yourself to finish it and you will feel so relieved and you can then start a new one
Thank you for sharing a bit of your story with me 💜 sending you virtual hugs today 💜
You have no idea how much this video inspired me. ❤
Thank you for blessing us with this, Tina! You're so wonderful
A beautiful video, I still remember the 2015 one! Thank you for sharing your collection with us, so much growth and joyyyy.
I just have a quick question am I too old to journal because I’m 34 years old now and I just got into journaling is that too old or can I still continue?
It is never too late to start journaling... and as they say better late than never 😊
OMG!
I look forward watching this tomorrow, with a cup of tea in my hands.
Oh my gosh I know exactly the book series you're talking about with the diaries...I LOVED those, I never heard of anyone else reading them! I think they were called Dear America or something?
This is such a beautiful video! Thank you for sharing these chapters of your life with us.
