Junkyard Tire Kickin', and a Day at the Races!

  • Hi everyone! This week we stopped in to shop for classic car projects at the local salvage yard here... I'm always looking for more cars, and Agent 7678 needs parts for a police car project he is putting together... Reg has been collecting cars for many years, and now it's time for them to go!
My good friend Pete has put together a Nostalgia Drag race in a lovely town about a hundred miles from here, so we jumped in the Citroen to go check it out!
Agent 6667 stopped in again in his sweet 1966 Dodge Coronet, so we decided we'd better get out there and wreck some tires!
Hope you guys enjoy the new musical montage at the start!
. Thanks also to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments! If you would like to help keep our channel going, you can get a sticker, hat or a coffee mug at:

"a reasonably decent car" , that translate: relative to what I currently have sitting in the yard. Or it's not a shit box but would never get around to it.😜

You need a wagon, Scott! One of those Dodges or that 58 Pontiac. Then again the 60 Pontiacs were nice too! A shame so much was missing on that 59 Buick.

The Plymouth / Dodge 41 or 42 to save ??? why not both and a 47 for good measure .........one or 2 of those Pontiacs from 1960 .... Dean should check the Blue thunderbird with the black top ... could not tell but around a 1970 maybe ...??? ..... awesome Blue tire burner .... !!!!! Keep 'em coming !!!!!!

Yay! Here we go! And that intro!
Who would think that I was paying, for years, for cable TV & IP TV, full of these mainstream, scripted, so-called car shows and series. Sometimes with local spin-offs. equally full of technical garbage wording, despite translations & copywriting. These Discovery-sque shows cannot hold a candle to the natural style of #ColdWarMotors 🔥

Boy down here in Connecticut the old car junkyards are pretty much gone. They were in a lot of towns around here but the owners got old and when scrap was in demand in China, they crushed most of them. Thanks for the memories of Saturdays walking these yards looking for a piece of treasure in a trunk or just sitting in an old bus.

I love every episode you boys do, but this episode especially hit my soul. I was born in South Bend. The Studebakers, Oliver tractor, and Hoosier Racing Tires made me proud to have a connection with you boys! My dad was a circle track 1/4 miler back in the day and knew the guy who started Hoosier in his garage as a retreader for the guys at the South Bend Motor Speedway. I remember as a kid the guys who had worked at Studebaker all driving cars they had a part in building. My grandparents' next door neighbor had a salmon colored '59 Lark with a gray interior that he used to take we kids to Dairy Queen in. If you boys ever get in to town for a visit to the National Studebaker Museum, I would be happy to take you around. It's quite a good museum! Cheers, Russ!

I snorted Gatorade out my nose when you moaned about your classic knees. So great to spend an hour with you guys. The salvage yard was wonderful, as was the ride along in the Coronet. And the '58 98 at the end was the cherry on top. Chrome and turquoise, the perfect homage to the fabulous fifties. Thanks.

Keith, had kinda that same feeling, too. Jonathan W and his creativity seem limitless. One of his often made comments at a tough situation or condition, "...and that's not a problem..." About a month back when working on the hot rod he's building for a friend (out of a collection of rusted and bent 80 year old Ford pieces) several followers were commenting on his optimism and abilities for "silk purses out of sow's ears" one said, "Shoot, he built a car out of an oil stain last week!" 😉🙂👍👍

If I were closer I'd have that in my driveway. Thanks for the junkyard tour. Brings back good memories of my grandfather and I stomping around through all the ones in the area. Thanks Scott, Frankers and Agents!

Old cars to you are akin to old electric fans and cocktail shakers to me, you can never have too many. That 1960 Pontiac has great classic lines.

Loved the secondary road trip home. Spent a little time years ago in Lethbridge. Get the 41 ply/dodge

Nice stroll through the yard, love seeing the old iron around the world. The Kaiser's really showed how long they had been there by the size of the trees that had grown in between them.

When he fired up the Coronet, it reminded me of the ZZ Top song manic mechanic!
