@TheMontoya760 If I remember correctly, should be 12V between positive and negative terminals. But check through the shop manual linked in the description, it has that info in there.

I made a goof in this video, and had to do it over later. Turns out, my headlight had a small crack in the corner. I found it by removing the assembly, plugging all but one of the vent holes on the back, and then clamping a bike pump onto the remaining one, and pumping it up. You can use soapy water spray to find the leak, or just listen for it. To fix it, I used permatex flowable glass sealant from autozone. Hope that helps!

@@evanc.1591 thanks. I will double-check it when I pull it out. I drive a far bit of gravel roads so it could be cracked. But I wonder if there are vents, then should it really matter? Wouldn't it still breathe or have let humidity in? other way this will all help me save money.

Turns out, mine had basically the same problem! The problem reappeared shortly after this when a bunch of moisture collected inside. I removed the headlight assembly again, and dried it thoroughly. I put it in some stacked up cardboard boxes, with a hairdryer stuck in the bottom. Closed it up, left it running for like 20-30 min until it was totally dry. I then attached a bike pump to one of the open vents on the back of the headlamp, plugged the other ones, then pumped it up to get pressure inside it, and listened for a leak. Found a small crack in the bottom corner of the headlight, and sealed it with Permatex Flowable Glass Sealant, bought from AutoZone. The new ballast had rusted up pretty bad, so I reassembled it with the original ballast that I pulled out in this video, and it worked! Turns out, the moisture had just temporarily shorted it, and it was fine once it was dried out. Hope that helps!

Double check to see if there's any moisture there! If there is, you need to find the leak and seal it. That's a mistake I made in this video, caused the problem to recur. I'll be posting a follow-up soon.

Not a bad idea, but I didn't want to lose the stereo of each source. I guess I could soft pan each? This is my first edit though lol, so I'm not totally sure how to do that. Maybe I'll revisit it soon.

Truly, this was destined.
