This is insanely good, and the upgrade from 1 to 2 for 10 bucks is outrageously cheap. Awesome riffing !

Do you get more or less for the upgrade? Doesn't version 1 have more amps? What actually changes?

@@Metalpazallteway I know it's a bit late, but here's my view on it. From what I remember, ReAmp 1 has more amps than 2. Some of those amps are just filler that kinda sound like ass. With ReAmp 2, all the amps are great for their respective genres. 2 still has a lot of the memorable amps from 1. Also, the pedals in Reamp 2 are SO much better. I particularly love the Ratt and Plumes.

@@harlstrum833 I got the upgrade and honestly felt that just by me getting the Wah Pedal Made it that much better. Although I saw other videos and some people were saying the amps were missing more drive and didn't exactly resemble their original counterparts.

Reamp 2 really is an improvement in comparison to Reamp 1, which hardly impressed me. Sound quality became much better in general, the amps sound more natural. Less treble fizzyness and more balanced tones, while the character of the amps is audible.
Nevertheless this still is a typical AA budget plugin, good usable and cheap, but not really top notch.
On the other hand, a lot of different, at least quite good sounds, which you hardly get anywhere else in this price range.
I have tried some of these newer pedal amps, which sound worse than most amps here, but my real tube amps (or my own ToneX captures of them) still are a different league for me.
One advantage is, that Reamp 2 also offers some nice pedals, which you hardly or not at all find anywhere else as plugins, like eg. a Zendrive.
So at the moment the direction of the AA developments seems to be right.
The GUI or more precisely, the internal structure still could be improved. (Took me a while, to find the Reamp amps in Amp Locker.)
Another general complaint: Some documentation or manual would be helpful sometimes for all AA plugins.

I used the previous version to find matching bass distortion. So for high gain tones I used my high end guitar plugins and then I was looking for complimenting distortion for the bass.

    Do you know brusfri plugin?

Yeah. You hear that unshielded P90 pickup catching of the EMI? I could probably use it for this guitar in particular. None of my other guitars have quite the issue this one does with interference. But I also record in an untreated garage sometimes, so it could help for that too.

what do you think of it compared to the 1 ? has the quality improved ?

I think they have upped the quality on the tones overall. The ability to use the Amp Locker Cabs is nice. There is more fidelity in the high end of the preamp tones for sure, but I think there may still be some bugs to work out for some of the controls. Some of the master volumes don’t work in an expected manner, but I haven’t figured out if they are more modeled to emulate power amp saturation or actual volume. But, overall it is a better product.

@@BaritoneGoatStudio I think they generally are aimed to simulate power amp break up.
