    Bad Ass belt is a lot smoother rock rock crawling!!!

      I haven’t had any issues with either one. The Badass does seam to grip better climbing but also I’ve noticed it wear faster and slower on the pavement.

    You gotta clutch to a aftermarket belt if you want to test it’s performance.

      Check out my video where I tested the tuned clutch weights as well! th-cam.com/video/8NzQKFtwJ7k/w-d-xo.html

    Did you use my good dish sponge and put it back in the sink ? …

      Would you believe it was bad dish sponge and I bought you 3 more? 🫣

      No.. I would not believe that

    Kinda off topic but are your seats apex and how do you like them

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they are! I like them better than the stock seats but I kinda wish I had got the Daytona. they are pretty comfortable for me but they are a little tight the side bolsters on them are really big which isn’t a bad thing until you have to get in and out a few times lol also you have to modify the bracket to bring the straps closer together to run the click6 harness or it will dig into the openings. Not the end of the world since I’m building a custom cage soon but wish I had known that before installing

    Maybe I missed it, but were your Draggy runs done in Mexico like the tuner video? 😁

    I guess it depends on what your goals are. If you want to drag race stick with the stock belt if you want to climb up those Hills not slip belts go with the badass belt. We know the KRX has never been a speed demon as it is. 😮

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely agree It depends on your goals. I’m keeping the badass belt on for the better grip and wear. for crawling and technical rocks in low range It might still be the best choice. What was interesting to me was throttle response was worse with the badass belt and it started to bog down though. I think that may affect more than just the drag racers but just a thought.

      @Rebelsoffroad I got 1600 miles on my machine I replace mine about 300 miles ago because stock belt squeals a couple times I figured it was time since I had it sitting on the shelf. Seems to be doing great no squealing yet

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sinned96 that is awesome! I got like 100 miles on my stock belt before it slipped the first time in really thick mud lol this is my second badass belt the first one wore out and started slipping at around 600 miles but there had been water in the housing. I put the original stock belt back on for the first test. Now it’s all sealed up, snorkel and I don’t play in deep water anymore🤞 it should last a lot longer

      @@rebelsoffroad I just installed the Super ATV snorkel kit on mine I hope it got it sealed up good I noticed a huge gap in the belt housing exhaust piping I guess you would call it. I use black RTV to seal the gap. They would like the two pieces were misaligned I could see daylight through it if I looked at it right I'm like this isn't good I got to feel this up haven't really got the tested yet in the deep water

      This test proved to me that OEM is definitely better for throttle response, acceleration, and top speed! I think badass is better for grip, and doesn’t effect the sheaves as much but I think the badass wears faster also so not extremely impressed… thanks for watching!

      Gboost makes different belt with different compounds ,just depend the use, you have to reclutch for any aftermarket belt cause of different shift characteristic. Is no secret on any Sxs the aftermarket belt make it slower if you don't touch clutch.

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never heard that aftermarket belts make any sxs slower. it definitely is slower with this one but why would they all be designed that way? Tuning the clutching is next so we'll be putting this theory to the test! thanks for watching and commenting!!

    • @mandytuning
      @mandytuning ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rebelsoffroad performance belt is not made to make it faster as bolt on, is made to handle load and temps . You make it faster with power and clutch tune.

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mandytuning I would not expect a belt make a SXS faster but I am disappointed how much slower it it with it. Why don’t they design for higher load and heat without more power loss?

  • @adamharris2674
    @adamharris2674 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm not on board with these at all. Way over hyped up for no good reason. Should be called the Mediocre Belt. The KRX is one of the most tested and well engineered Sxs out there and the Kawi belt is better. Spoiler alert; both belts will wear grooves in the primary doing high speed, long distance, street driving.

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After this test I think they are definitely over hyped also. They are good for certain types of riders and I’ll keep it for the extra grip but they are not the miracle belt some people make them out to be. Thanks for commenting!!
