Idk why more people don’t watch this channel. An eclectic mix of Ford motors, educational stuff and ripping on many things. Channel deserves more viewers/subs.
I’ve seen head studs snapping on coyotes a surprising amount recently. Like 3 witching the last 2 weeks. They’ve all been delayed breaks too. I wanted to tear my motor down and do head studs but now I don’t know that I will 😅
@@MustangLifestyleTV you might have heard this already but ive seen from about 13 different people warning to stay away from apex head studs. The horror stories from people talking about them is unreal. From everything ive seen which is a lot you had that issue from using those headstuds. Ive also personally seen 4 people post head gasket failures and other issues from these studs.
Love your channel. Anyway you can do a complete parts list for getting that predator blower to work? I am trying to put that blower on a gen 2 in a foxbody.
Since the motor is out I think it would be a good video to point everything out since there aren't too many videos walking you through this blower swap.
I'd love to see an in depth 4.6 4v budget build, I've been looking to doing some fun stuff to my 3v, and the Frankenstein stuff is buried in the forums, aluminator block, 04-05 aviator 9 thread heads, cam choices, boss rods, budget forged pistons, all the things you would need like the termi timing cover, I love the down to earth builds, and the unique stuff from this channel. I was so excited for the 5.4 swap, until we learned the engine was trashed. 😂
maybe try uploading shorts! cant hurt to try... really shocking how low ur subs and view count are it feels like your channel is a lot bigger. i love the content man wish i could do more
It would be great to see you get a Sonic Blue coupe at some point. After getting one myself I love how the shade of blue looks lighter / darker depending on the lighting. This build now will be really cool can’t wait to see what it does on the dyno with the planed build. I knew previously that the red fire coupe was long gone for good but still sucks as these cobras are getter lower in numbers quite frequently
Not sure if you got that stud out of the block yet or not. Last year I snapped a Coyote crank puller bolt off in the end of the crank. Then engine was still in the car and I managed to get it out. It was so far down the hole in the end of the crank I had to use a borescope to see if I was making any drilling progress. In the end I got it out and I didn't have to pull the motor. Lesson learned, don't waste your time with anything other than a Tungsten drill bit and you need to make a bushing that goes around the bit to keep it centered in the hole that keeps the bit from wandering. Once I got a hole drilled it came right out with an easy out. Best of luck.
I agree man, I’m shocked this channel isn’t bigger! You definitely deserve it brother, you grind it out and have great content. To add, you’re a great dude- I used to come to ur Wednesday night meet ups when my schedule allowed it.
I have only seen studs break when reusing tourqe to yield fasteners, just using cheap components or some of the counterfeit copies of quality components.
I like these more average Joe type builds. The GT350 and GT500 content is cool but so beyond anything I'll acquire any time soon. These Terminator and turbo Coyote new edge and fox cars are way more my speed and interest 🤷
Love The Terminator Content Andrew And I Do Miss The Old Red Terminator You Had, Sad That It Got Parted Out And Crushed SMH, Kinda Makes Me Happy That Turdzilla Is Still Around For You Enjoy Again Like You Did Back In The Day. That Old Yellow Terminator Was Pretty Cool Too. Anyway Love The Terminator Content And Looking Forward To Seeing The Old Silver One Back Up Running Once Again.
Man can't stand the New Edge Mustangs, it's not like I have a black 04 GT that I daily drive everyday, so click bait back at you, Always love the content, more so the New edge stuff, they are my favorite. Man that broken head stud sucks, looks like everything looked great in the motor and a part failure like that is a hard one. Head bolt/stud are extremely hard material, are how far down in the block make it very hard as well. Wish you all the luck bud, on getting it out.
Been watching for a while, great content in terms of educating and still having fun. On another note, just flip it upside down and shake it and your head stud will fall out 😂
weld a 1/8'' rod to a 1/8'' drill bit, make a brass puck that goes over the drill bit and fits snug in the head stud bore, drop the two in and ... that has to be a cobalt carbide tungsten 1/8th endmill bit because its a ARP stud. power drill high speed very light contact force like combing hair "no ouch tugs". then file the broken shank into a screw extractor by grinding one end into a square point heating and hardening it then hammering it in lightly so it turns the 1/8th hole into a square by shearing corners into the center of the 1/8 hole, then that's 1/8'' in on a 1/8th square so its a 2400 pound tensile point to turn it out 300 inch pounds. 2 hours
Been watching your channel for years now(Started when Scott was still on the channel and the Terminator still had an Eaton blower) super excited to see you build back a Terminator, and am extremely happy you made it this far! Hopefully when my Cobra is up and running again, I can come to you about getting it tuned 🤞

I agree i don’t know why more people don’t watch this video!
Glad i came back definitely watching the old videos! Bummer about the silver cobra! Hopefully fingers crossed it’s an easy fix!
Wish I lived in Florida man. I would let you tune my 3v in a heartbeat
I tune remote

Ever figure out what exactly happened to your redfire car? Like how they wrecked it? Sucks what happened that was such a nice car
Yeah I made a video on it. One of the new owners took it out in the rain and lost control
If you tell which video it is I'll watch it. That'll improve your view count.@@MustangLifestyleTV

Still planning for the predator setup to go on OG

@@MustangLifestyleTV were these the apex head studs?

Turdzilla has some tricks in the works
I like 3v stuff, mainly cause I'm building one as we speak, but I'll take anything mustang related. Keep up the great work brother.
Wow this will be cool video series,I have a 03 cobra and Eaton for life 💪🏻
I love your channel Andrew I can't believe more people aren't watching it!
Appreciate that!
Nothing some helicoil can’t fix 😂
This is precisely why it is recommended to NOT run studs to the bottom of blind holes.
ARP studs only
So andrew which one of these good ol new edges are going to get voodoo swapped? Set it up like a fathouse fab twin turbo kit
What’s the company name to call you have a question about you tuning my car remote
Reach out to me on Facebook or my number is listed on my Mustang Lifestyle website
Good stuff! Keep it coming
Great content as always! What a pita job getting that broken stud out. I'm looking forward to the Terminator rebirth. New Edges Rock!

Will the blower kit on the GT work for my Gen3 10r80 coyote swap foxbody? Im interested. Thanks
Predator blower won't work without a spacer because of the di if you had a cowl or something to clear you can do it.
Works with a space to clear di and hood clearance will become an issue. Otherwise no problems
@@MustangLifestyleTV What about the procharger kit you said you might sell is what I'm talking about. Thanks

arp or apex head studs?

Drill the center with long Cobolt bit then easy out or left hand drill to remove it pice of cake I did the same thing on my motor I broke 2 studs
Bummer…
