Hi 👋, Martin, great to see you still making amazing pieces of art, I love the sun ☀️ burst 💥, with gold , I just recently made a very large fruit bowl, about 75c x 40c , then carved out the ends which took me nearly 3 days., I made it for a present for somebody back in the UK,
Stay safe, keep up the great work , Phil from the moulin France.
Hey Phil, how are you doing, I hope life is treating you well. That sounds like an interesting bowl. keep up the good work! 😊
Very fine. Beautifully done. Great imagination.
Thank you very much! 😊

Thank you for watching! 😊
Clever opening to your video. Beautiful work as usual. Not so fond of the gold. I’m old school. Love the look of the wood.
Thank you very much Carol. 😊
Splendid job, Martin. What's the new gizmo to cut-out the starburst, please? Just wondering.
Thanks very much Don. It's a laser cutter/engraver. here's a link to a video I made for it. th-cam.com/video/8gzawi2WAPE/w-d-xo.html
Hi..NICE..LOOKS REAL GOOD..DOWN UNDER..
Thanks for watching Dave. 😊
It’s not clear to me how you created the sun rays. What was the machine that you put the bowl in? I presume a laser but how were the rays produced on both sides? And how did you manage the depth of the laser cut?
The laser cuts from one side all the way through. If interested, here is a video I made of the laser machine. 😊 th-cam.com/video/8gzawi2WAPE/w-d-xo.html
Super
Thanks for watching! 😊
👍👌✌️
😊👍
Another piece of art really like the way you use this new technology to it's best could you tell me the gold paste as the few I have tried don't give me the effect you get thanks Jamie
Thanks very much Jamie. The gilding paste was unbranded from ebay. I have not noticed any difference in branded v unbranded. So not sure why you are having a different experience with it.
I love your lathe. Never seen anything like it. What is it?
It's a VB36. 😊
Hi.AGAIN. BOY THAT WAS CLOSE ID PRESSED THE WRONG BUTTON...DAVID..
Hope it wasn't the big red one, signed don't press!!! 👀😁
Very nice. I wonder what it would look like with actual gold leaf gilding. 🙂 I might have to try gilding a bowl or platter or something. What could possibly go wrong? 😂
You will have to try it and see, Thanks for watching! 😊
