I’d love to know where you are all watching from.. let me know in a reply. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
I'm from Germany 🇩🇪
San Antonio, Texas
The mountains of north central Pennsylvania
The high desert, Surprise, Arizona
i'm still in Rotherham, England
I always hated having a piece of wood like that waiting to be split, but what you did with it is a work of art.
Laburnum is just the most beautiful wood, I could never get tired of turning it. Great work Jack
Watching from Columbus, GA USA
I'm fascinated by how you carve out the inside of a vase like this so that the thickness of the wood is consistent. It's amazing.
it is like anything…if you know what you are doing and you do it often enough it becomes easier and easier then second nature.
This is beautiful and it's so nice to see a piece made from a huge lump of wood with no resin. But I have to say the thumbnail does look like you're about to carve a legless torso!
I love the slow motion-it really shows what the tools are doing.
The grain almost looks likes marble. Beautiful work
That piece is absolutely stunning! 🤩
The wood grain is beautiful! I'm blown away by how gorgeous that vase is! 🤯🤎
The grain and color are gorgeous. Excellent work Jack.
There are some incredible brain features. And it appears as two trees grew together at the base. Another special piece. I’m in Arizona.
Watching from Wallaville, Queensland, Australia.
Hello Jack. You never stop surpricing your audience. Great artwork. I am in the northwest of USA 🇺🇸. Take care, thanks 😊...
You do use some really beautiful woods Jack, and this one is no exception. I really like the grain and where the crotch is just amazing brother!
Understatement of the year! What a beauty! Well done! Thank you for sharing! God bless!
Hi great watching the item appear from the log, like showing it’s head above the water 👍 I like the butterfly in the grain. 👍🐝🌞
Beautiful piece! Missouri Ozarks, USA
OMG❗️This wood is very stunning inside. The more you started working it, the more the beauty came out of it! What an amazing piece of artwork you created! I would have loved to have seen a epoxy shine finisher on it -that’s just me but either way it’s gorgeous!
OMG the woodgrain!
Haha you like this one ?
I am watching from my bedroom. Love the wood. Great job
Usually when I watch one of these videos with a woodworker trimming a piece down with their bandsaw, I'm jealous and amazed at how effortless both their skill AND their saw ZIPS right through the wood.
This time, however, I was greeted with the familiar sound of the various metal parts, the guide wheels, the blade spinning and all of it whining in protest. Your blade also looked far narrower than most other's that i watch. My bandsaw has a thin blade and also whines ,and the blade likes to bend and flex with every cut, always makes using it an absolute adventure!
Watching from central Illinois!
Hey. The blade used here was almost full and ready to go to the big bandsaw resting place in the sky, I’m not one to waste time, changing this blade for a new one for rip cuts would have meant I’d never put this dull blade back on the saw, so instead I got one last use out of it.
A stunning piece of wood turned (literally) into a stunningly beautiful piece of art. I love what you do Jack Mack. You could not have made a better career choice. Portland, Oregon USA
You captured the elegance of this art piece. I’m so glad you didn’t add resin, it gets used way too often. The craftsman obligation is to bring out the wood’s final beauty. Well done. Thank you for sharing your video.
Awesome!!!! Amazing tree drawing. There just aren't enough words to describe your work!!!
Stunning!!
The simple elegant shap truly shows off the grain of the piece.
You turned it into a most pleasing vase! The growth rings show up beautifully! A truly amazing piece! 😍😁👍👍
Jack 🤩 What a hoggs leg of beautiful wood. The slit of the center wood is so awesome and natural for the piece let alone the finish you always make special to every piece! . Grr!!
Love it Jack! Watching from South Dakota USA

That’s beautiful Jack! I suppose you’re going to retire now, as I don’t think you’ll ever get another piece of Laburnum like this again. Thanks for sharing your artwork with me all the way from Rockingham, Western Australia. 👍🏻
I was just expecting you to drill a hole in the side and stick a pole in it ... would have made a perfect E.T. model 🤣
What an absolutely stunning piece of wood and I love that you left the big piece of bark in the side, I feel that this always adds to the piece ... beautiful 👍
