I think they were probably saying if you heat the wax then you can pour all the parts to make one new candles. Lol

    • @stevejuggler
      @stevejuggler ปีที่แล้ว +88

If you let the water cool, the wax hardens at the top and floats and you can just pick it out and use it for more candles, or use it in your wax warmer :)

Okay, as someone who reuses almost every ounce of wax from their candles, we need to relax. Are we upset she’s using water? Whatever, that’s called a facial, everyone and self care is still in the budget. Go pick a fight with a Tesla driver, and leave people doing well enough alone, Y’all. ✌️

@@briezzy365 I’m confused by the Tesla part of your comment. Are you saying that people with money are the problem when it comes to being wasteful or that by having an electric car you’re somehow wasting more resources than a traditional car or is it just sarcasm that’s not reading well? As a society that is increasing our ways of being wasteful because social media loves videos on cutting things up etc I can understand why some are pointing out something like wasting water. Unfortunately one of the defining characteristics of being human is being wasteful. Honestly I thought she was using rubbing alcohol at first since I don’t watch her channel and don’t really care that it is actually water but your comment in general kind of had me confused.

Annie’s art studio: Annie, if you poured these just a little bit less tall, leaving more space at the top, you could sell them is “water candles”, with a little planchette to hold a packet of wax - impregnated wicks. They’re very pretty, and you wouldn’t have to leave a whole lot of space for your customers to be able to put a layer of water on top of your acrylic, and then a layer of oil in which to float the wick holder.
You would pretty much be the only person selling that product, and the fact that you have mostly filled the column with acrylic and inclusions would mean that they’d be a whole lot easier to clean because they’d be much more shallow containers to have to reach into for cleaning.❤️
Edited to correct the auto correction. Sigh; sometimes I wonder if there’s not a little imp running the autocorrector.

My mom uses them to put fake flowers in like a vase for them. She uses them and puts rocks or glass pebbles from the store in them so the fake flower stem can sit in them. To add a bit extra you can use a ribbon to make a bow around the middle. Make sure to heat seal the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying. My mom reuses different sized ones for different types of plants.
You can also use the ones with lids to store things like crystals, rings you wear, and other things you might use or collect.

I got 12 of these jars 🤣 wanted to use some sorts container wax. Not sure which is a good one. I don't think i can use candle sticks for jars tho. 🤔
I havea couple silicone molds i use to pour wax into for an external image to use as a candle. These jar candles last a long time. Not sure which kind they use. 🤔 Any suggestions on what type of wax to use for these jars?? 😃🫶

I'm confused. If that's a candle, why are you pouring epoxy instead of candlewax? Also, where is the wick? This is really nice I like dried decorations but is that a candle?

I don't understand what you're making. You're adding resin to things in a glass jar, what are they used for?

@@NiKiMa023 reduce reuse recycle. The first tenant is reduce. Reuse refers to not only the item at hand, but also not using more virgin non-biodegradable materials to repurpose the item.
This fails on all three tenants

@@SavageMinnow it’s not like this girl is dumping resin into the ocean💀 not everything in the world ends up in the ocean like some people say. one day this piece might end up in a antique shop to be enjoyed by someone else. y’all go for people for no reason.

Just a reminder for anyone thinking of doing this DIY (or similar) themselves: Please remember that epoxy resin can be extremely dangerous if handled incorrectly - please invest in gloves and a ventilator, and preferably take a safety course if you plan to use epoxy frequently 🧪

Do they have a screw on lid? If so, you could also use them to infuse things, like alcohol or sugar syrups. They'd look pretty on a shelf as they infuse.

I never buy these candles cause they remind of places where people have died. They seem very ominous but maybe I’ll give them a shot.
