I've been making candles since i was 12 and even i know some of these could start a fire
OMG, the pinecones! Throw them in your fireplace and they sound like firecrackers, on your dinning room table would be too exciting for me.
I wouldn't try the nail polish one. Nil polish is flammable which means the while thing might go up in flame.
Would boiling the water and replacing the nail polish with colored wax work?
Can we agree that some of these are not safe at all? I mean who uses tissues as candles?

2:12 Cooking oils are not flammable, but once they reach their flash point and are ignited they can burn very intensely. This one is quite dangerous.
As a candle maker, I strongly advice parents not to do 90% of what is shown in this video as they are serious fire hazards that could result to property damage, burn injuries and even death. You can follow 5-minute craft videos that require cutting old clothes or whatnot, but fire? There’s no hacking fire. Please don’t play with fire.
Ikr, like this is hella dangerous. Like using nail polish, a latex glove, Kleenex, crayons and plastic to make candles? Horrible, horrible idea. This is disturbing.
As a candle maker...I can't stop twitching everytime the wick is not centered...

The crayon one would not be very good for you
🌸 No 3: Never use crayons to colour your wax as it will clog the wick up, Plus even tho crayons are made from wax and are non toxic they will omit toxic black smoke into the air.
🌸 No 5: Don’t dip your candle into nail polish, Nail polish is Highly flammable and when the flame reaches the nail polish then the flame will increase causing your home to potentially burn down
🌸 No 8::If your wanting to put things like this on the side of your candle, then (a);Try a slightly fatter Candle (b) Don’t use plant that will cause your flame to spit (c) A Heat gun is much better to use.
🌸 No 11 & 12: Don’t use crayons to colour your candles EVER
🌸 No 13: This won’t work because the Tea light will burn a hole into the Spheres.
🌸 No 16: The wax would’ve went right to the tips of the finger, meaning the wicks on the fingers couldn’t be out so much on the fished produc.
🌸 No 18: Again don’t use crayons in Candles, Tea lights or Wax Tarts...
✨✨ TIP: Use Ecosoya Q210 Soy wax (aka Ecosoya CB135 - only difference is it’s form);
🌟Add 1 Tablespoon yellow beeswax into each per cup, to help take away the ions in the air that cause seasonal allergies & respiratory infections
🌟Only use Candle Safe Colouring & Fragrances
🌟Don’t buy supplies from Craft / Hobby Shops, Only buy a supplies from. a Legit Candle making company. ( need recommendations, simply place reply to this comment with your Suburb & Country)

Goodwill wholesale bins usually have TONS of candles
I buy alot of the coloured candles at reduced price after halloween Christmas and Valentine's. These are also when the nicer colors are easily found. I love 2nd hand shop for my big pillar candles and tealights 😊

If you have never made candles before and you want to learn how to make candles correctly, go to a company like Natures Garden who has been in business forever and will show you the right way. Crayons should NEVER be used to color candles as the pigment will clog your wicks. Not to be negative, but many of the techniques in this video are fire hazards.

I love your rubber glove candle but I would like to know how to get wick to come out of the end of the glove after the wax has dryed cause the wick is inside the glove to begin with and how do you pull the wick out the end of the hand? You have some wonderfull idea thank you

I would question the use of "glue" in the votive candles with the rosemary - I'm not sure how flammable glue can be.

Mould for shape
Colour (if you want)
And a wick
What else can you use for candle wax. Can you use a shoe string for candle wick. And what is the metal thing called to hold the wick in place ??

I recently started candle making
(like a month ago) I'm still learning I've never put my wax in the microwave. I boil water on low to melt my wax. Use scented oils & wax melts for
color/scent. Also I would NEVER use nail polish to add color to a candle It's flammable!!!! And what type of glue did she use in the candle that has rosemary in it??? Any candle makers out there that can give me any tips???
Don't use this vid for anything you do is the best tip I can give you. If you want to secure your rosemary don't bother with glue. Why would you want glue in your candle? Tiny bit of your wax will do that for you, don't use glue. If you watch the professional candle maker tutorials a lot you'll come up with much better (and safer) techniques. Good luck to you.
I know you said that you've never microwaved your candels but just take care if you're buying a big candel and using it to fill smaller ones don't EVER microwave it. Many candels' wicks are held down by something made out of metal in otherwords your candle might have a big metal piece at the bottom of the candle jar (see it at the time 5:08 in the video) so never microwave it.
I'd start with dont try most of these if you plan on lighting them.
I had to laugh at this video. I am going to try the sand hack to see if it works and post it to my channel. What I am NOT going to try is dipping a candle in nail polish then lighting it. Similarly I won't be using a plastic cup bottom near a flame. Some of these ideas a worth a hack video test for sure! I'm doing it!
