Saw your making a plugin vid on my rec page and love the way you edit these. I am interested in how plugins work

This is a great project! (I recently made something similar for myself by modding the poly step sequencer factory script in Kontakt and increasing the step count to 32 and track count to 12).
However, I suck at KSP programming so I would give you some of the grand ideas I had while creating my own drum sequencer:
Some advanced ideas for your sequencer:
1 Increase step count to 32 (perhaps spread over 2 sequencer pages)
*2 Allow for each kit piece to have unique step count, swing and velocity curve (or volume)
*3 Allow for tuning (in semitone or cents) to individual kit pieces
4 Allow for loading and saving sub presets for each kit piece (and the ability to randomize from existing sub presets per kit piece)
4.5 Allow for midi drag and drop for that individual kit piece (as single track midi file)
5 Allow for cycling through multiple kit piece samples (so one may quickly load a kick or snare from another kit)
6 Allow for saving custom kits (with kit presets)
7 Extend the option of double hits to include 2, 3, or 4 hits (useful for hi hat rolls and flams)
8 Optional 16 pad layout with midi assignable triggers (for users with pad enabled midi controllers)
Hope your project is successful and you earn from your hard work!
    * - 2 and 3 seem to be already implemented

@@BeepBoopAudio I like the accent feature, I'd also love randomizer per instrument lane and maybe per sound category too

Thank you for the kind words! I will definitely send you a copy to beta test before the graphics stage. Currently working on cleaning up the code and updating the Drag and Drop MIDI function to work with the grid features implemented in Part 2.

Hey, great video! I subbed too, I found your video via the pianobook newsletter which came out on June 5th, and I am glad I clicked on your link. I would love to beta test, as this is exactly what I've been looking for, a straightforward drum sequencer. It would help my young son (11) with his beats as I recently got him a book called Pocket Operations by Paul Wenzel, which is a great collection of drum machine patterns. I think this sequencer would be the perfect complement to that book. Cheers, and keep up the good work (and this was a great title, got me interested and was NOT click bait)
