Developer update on what I've been doing. I was making Kontakt libraries for Native instruments. I'm now learning about HISE which allows me to make plug-ins for music producers that use DAWs like Ableton, Logic, Garage band, and Pro Tools. What if that ... Resources folder is greyed out????
My guess is that a resources folder has not been created yet. You should manually create one with a .txt file in the location shown in the video. Let me know if that works for you.
@@BeepBoopAudio Thanks for the response. I had the folder structure, but had the wrong extension on the file! Sometimes they try to hard to protect us from ourselves. Bad UI/UX decision.

Yes and No. I used HISE which utilizes JUCE to create plugins.

The reveal part is a nice demo of what you can do.. but unfortunately it would have been nice to hear it in stereo. Or is it monophonic output with monophonic input? Like, is it's stereo spread 1 to 1 with pan position?

Doing more gear is truly the dream. I'm currently working on an update for Tremor that will hopefully increase the chances of it being a SMASH.
sounds like Tremolator by SoundToys, does it not? or what is the difference? I can't decide whether I should buy it or not.

Valid request. The plugin sits between 2% and 3% on my computer that has an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU. I wanted to account for less powerful computers, so I included script that deactivates the animation if the plugin UI is not displayed in your DAW. I also reluctantly removed glass glare from the animation because it was making it too beefy for weaker computers. That was a sad day because it was so beautiful.

Providing a free demo version of a plugin significantly increases expenses and support ticket volume for an individual in my position. I'm researching the possibility of this, but for now I provided a walkthrough video that demonstrates the capabilities of the plugin. Thank you for your patience as I experiment and learn about running my first business.

iLok? Welp, never buying that.
Not an iLok. I do also have to sign Pro Tools plugins (AAX) with an iLok, but the USB stick I showed is something completely different. Users do not need an iLok to use Tremor in DAWs that are not Pro Tools.

The dual band gating effect is really cool. I’ve never tried something like that before. Programming instruments and effects for a living is a huge dream of mine, so Ive been excited for you as I’ve seen your videos coming out about your story and this launch. Congratulations on building an awesome device and actually finishing & launching the damn thing (steps I never reach)
I'm glad you like the idea of the plugin. Also happy to hear you're interested in programming instruments. Finishing projects can be very difficult since every product can always be better. Beta-testers and viewers will ALWAYS have additional features that they desire, making it feel like your creation is never truly finished. Setting a deadline can be a powerful tool for personal growth. I believe growth is achieved more efficiently through many short projects compared to long polished projects. I wish you the best of luck on your journey to launch your first plugin.

interesting, but to me it is more like a weird delay than a reverb.
I agree that it ends up sounding like a weird delay. Sustained signals frequently don't pair well with normal delays that cause a cluster of sound. Tremor is an alternate method to achieve a similar effect as delay that works well for both percussive AND sustained signals. Referring to it as a "Rhythmic Reverb" is likely a result of my engineering professors pushing overly-literal wording.
Can you make the whole plugin change color with the timing of the tremor?.. 🤣 (first!)
My first "first!" comment! What and honor. The color of the knobs, sliders, and XY control change based on the selected modulation modes (Saw-up, saw-down, and square). This means there are 9 different color combinations.

I am having some trouble playing the audio clips on the website using an iPhone. Clips seem to not load and skip to the end with 0 length.
Yeah... This is an issue that I'm seeing pop-up and disappear randomly, but only for iPhones. Not sure what's causing it and why it only happens sometimes. I'm not a web developer, so I'm learning as I go.

You are correct. I experimented with dual-band delays for a couple days, but ended up going another route.
It makes a pretty cool sound when you automate that XY control? Isn't it obvious what you should do then? Add internal modulation to that XY control. At least an LFO, but a sequencer with control points would even be better. And since it changes the pitch, make it possible to add a stereo offset to the control points. That makes the sound much wider.

iPadOS + iOS is not a high priority currently. I have looked into creating a time-limited trial version, but that comes along with additional expenses and MANY more support tickets. I plan to research further to see if this is possible for Beep Boop Audio, or if it will put me too far in the red as just one guy starting my first business.

Fantastic plugin, really high quality stuff man, great job. I wish it was Linux compatible so I could give it a try soon (I do work with a lot of Win plugins via Wine though), but for now, just wanted to drop a word of support and I hope you find plenty of success on your new venture
Would love to make it Linux compatible in the future. There are so many additional factors I would have loved to tackle, but I didn't want this to become a neverending project. Hopefully I can make enough from Mac and Windows users to be able to quit my job, allowing me to focus more on making Beep Boop Products available for more people including yourself.
I use the exact same color correction curves in DaVinci, I can tell you graduated YT University Color Correcting school with honors.

I do mostly video work, but somehow found your video, watched the whole thing (Great work and wonderful story!!) - looked at your awesome website and saw it's discounted right now, but have no idea how to start using it, lol RIP
Turns out you can use it on an audio track for video editing software. I only have DaVinci Resolve, so I can't personally confirm what other video software it works in. PLEASE NOTE. The rate of the tremolo is exclusively based on session tempo (for now). You can set session tempo in music software, but I don't think you can for video software. So it is a fun effect to throw on a video track as long as you're ok with it not being perfectly synced with film music.
