Crazy to think that this ending is non canon. I really liked this mission, the escape really makes your heart race the whole duration of the thing. The free for all, all gone to shit really adds a hellish and grim atmposphere. The omnipresence of the outnumbering CSAT forces are totally here to make you feel that you cannot win against all of this and the only thing to do is gtfo here. In this scenario the world is fucked anyways. And the fact that you cannot save nor revert in this mission, and the "you die, you die : end of the campaign" seems like nothing. But it really feels like you have one shot at this, and that you're not the protagonist anymore. You're just a meaningless pawn trying to get off this god damn rock. Maybe to emphasize that again, this ending is non canon
The gameplay was nice, good to see one of my favorite missions again!!!
Well... At least Miller's got the Device 😀 So no Earthquake Armaggedon for us !
Might be nuclear fire here and there but hopefully there will be some... Old churches stil standing... 😐
@@Damocles16yeah this is basically the WW3 ending. Where CSAT absolutely and completely loses their collective shit because we have the device and then war with NATO ensues because they don’t want it used on them.
CSAT after NATO managed to take the Eastwind device: *Jackhammering the button labeled ‘Mass Invasion’*
NATO after CSAT loses their collective shit and launches a massive invasion of Altis and obliterates the NATO forces there: *Rapidly spamming the ‘Send Reinforcements’ button*
CSAT and NATO after these events: *Rapidly spamming the ‘Declare War’ button*
i love this campaign but i always get stuck on missions that require you to command a squad
its always such a fucking slog to command them
Now I think about it, Since Miller quoted himself He seems to respect, amazed and a little bit fond of Kerry ability to winning against every odd, what if that man did come back and bring Corporal Ben Kerry out of this situation, Would Kerry be forced joining the CTRG by any means possible ? XD
Oh yeah, By some wiki Info, NATO did go on Full-out war against CSAT few day after this event, so This ending is pretty boring and unsuitable for being canon, since it just an very one sided story development.
CSAT starting war against NATO simply because they fully believe NATO were there just to robbing it's secret weapon since east wind was designed to used to Destabilize a country and using that chaotic moment and power to rob one country and so the AAF had no more use to them hence They decided to forcibly invade and hopefully be able to retrieve east wind device, IF someone like NATO get a hold on the weapon but not the secretive unit (CTRG) , CSAT would publicly lose all of its reputation and position .

Loved this mission the most aside from the one where you wake up on the beach unarmed aside from the pistol. Both gave me a feeling of freedom and opposing overwhelming force. I loved the fact that while you have a target, you have total freedom on how to get there.

Ah damn I didn’t know that about the mine detector screen!
I got killed by a mine in some wetlands, by far the best mission/atmosphere in the game, you have one shot at it and it feels like the apocalypse
@aa-hf2bjthat’s the point where I would just spawn in an attack helicopter in somehow and start blasting ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ through my headphones or speakers as I turned the CSAT forces into Swiss Cheese.

idk?maybe u can trigger some more tasks if u go somewhere else on the map ??
@@RedEyeMouse yeah, but as you remember, you've been warned to stay away from towns. I guess, you will die eventually by script from the landmine, but I am not sure
@@RedEyeMouseimagine if you manage to take out all CSAT forces and trigger a secret ending where you win and CSAT retreats hastily basically you pull out and play the NO U card and CSAT just get curb stomped.

I found a easter egg in Arma 3, when I go into the game files, steam/steamapps common/arma 3/addons/dubbing_f_epb/b_hub/ambient_talk ctrg elements are talking, you need pbo manage to open the addons folder
what are they saying?
