As a returning flight simmer who’s forgotten just about everything these vids of yours are gold! Soaking up the proper way to fly the 152 and 172 .. great teaching by example! 🙂
Nice video, I really love the classic steam gauges of the C172, but I think that vertical speed mode does exist, if you press the ALT buton I think it cycles thru the ALT hold and VS, anyways love you tutorials and videos 😉
Quick update to my last post. I can confirm 100% that MSFS 2020 Deluxe (and Premium) comes with the steam gauge version of the Cessna 172S. The standard version of MSFS 2020 does not have it.
I heard you mention about if you lean the engine out too much you can damage your engine? It would be pretty cool if you make a tutorial about leaning fixed pitch, variable pitch, and the difference that the king air levers have over say a baron
Love your videos, very informative and easy to follow. Can I ask why you dont show proper shut down techniques after your flights? That would be awesome!
Well that sucks...I just bought the standard version, or whatever they call it, so I don't have the steam C-172. I think it was a scumbag move of MS to try to squeeze another $30 out of their customers to get it, especially since just about every sim ever made includes it. But then again, they're Microsoft.
I had the standard edition on Game Pass but wanted the steam gauges so I bought the premium edition but it's still got the G1000 and no steam. Please help! Thanks!
I have been getting conflicting views on where the 172 with steam gauges actually exists in MSFS 2020. Clearly this video shows the steam gauges, but with my install of MSFS 2020 it only has the Garmin version. Can anyone shed light on what version of MSFS 2020 does this steam gauge version come with?
What does "steam gauge" mean? I don't want to search through 20 minutes of video to find the answer. It looks like the gauges are the same as the normal Texatron planes.

Now I don’t want to buy the deluxe premium edition
Hello friend ! How you get those gauges lights ? It's beautiful ! How to get them please ?
I find that the heading bug drifts on the steam !! Any suggestions as to how to fix it?

The deluxe version I believe
@@Sheza58 i have the deluxe but it does not pop up in my aircraft selection.
Does the steam gauges version also exist on the XBOX version?
Yes I have it.
Anyone else on Xplane11 still? Im still flying 738s all over the county

Steam Gauges are analog, the face of the gauge resemble that of a steam pressure gauge.
an opposite would be non steam gauges like a G1000 system, steam= round gauges analog face
great video..talks to fast... i bit slower would be nice
If someone goes so fast as you talk, he is not a pilot. Sorry, a dislike for you
Turn the playback speed down
If your a pilot you would understand it
