Excellent comment about the energy of the airgun. When I was a boy it was all about more powerful rounds. Then I dropped back to lighter rounds and learned how to really shoot. The last few years I have returned to airguns and am shooting better and enjoying it more.

Well done Simon keep knocking em down 👍 was working on a landfill site once and was having a brew with the fn19 Falcon in car not out but in case with a litter fence 20yards away with magpies and crows on it so with my high vis jacket on I got out of car went to back got rifle out rested on roof and shot 9 off the same post all looking down at their dead brethren just goes to show different camouflage for different environments and like you they all stick together until they pair up then it’s a different ball game 👍
@@simon6ppc246 yeah pain in the health and safety lol I did alot of crow control with shot gun and a pigeon magnet with crows on it had to do something because when the bird man came with his birds of prey they got used to his van lol crows dropped little up to 3 feilds away and landfill kept getting done by environment agency

Get on Simon a Pro sport eh, I think you’ll love it pal, I’ve treated my walnut stock with boiled linseed oil and it hasn’t half improved the look of the stock and looks mint. You’ll just love the firing cycle and the trigger is just incredible, I believe it’s better than the rekord and that’s saying something as Weihrauch’s are renowned for their triggers. I intend on going for the TX HC in a few months as I can get at my pension pot! Great video as always pal, I did a quick video for my pipe pals with the HW 97k and they are wanting to see the pro sport in action now, I’m not kitted out with the gear you have but I’m thinking of possibly getting a scope cam at some point but we’ll see.

Bought the alpex a few weeks ago, was a nightmare setting the balistic calculator up but now it’s done it’s a lethal bit of kit absolutely bang on from 10m to 65m going out tonight to try it in the dark for the first time, nice video mate

Hi Simon, Thank you for another great video. I hope you like your Air Arms Pro Sport when it arrives. They are a beautiful piece of kit. Your Daystate Wolverine looks like beauty, too. May I ask, please? There are quite a few models of the Wolverine. The carbon bottle, if I'm correct, holds roughly twice as many shots as the steel cylinder. Did you just plumb for the shot count? I think they're all bonny air rifles, though. I'd say the carbon bottle just slightly inches it for me. Though would the steel cylinder be lighter, with arguably still plenty of shots at around two hundred? Thank you, Ian.

Good evening Simon having watched your videos for a number of years I never though you would say pull a trigger of a rifle. I was always told to gently squise a rifle triggrer. Since I started shooting .22 rimfifre rifle with my father at five years of age and have progressed onto centerfire rifles I have always gently squised the trigger. I am now 75 years old and always have use this advise.

One question I notice that you managed to get x 6.1(time on vid 5.23mins) on your magnification. for some reason me and a few others, who have the most unto date firmware added can only get 3.5 then 7 and from there we can get incremental steps. what version are you running? Just wounding if your on an older version? Cheers
@@simon6ppc246 Simon just found out how it’s done When "fixed" reticle is selected along with "continuous" zoom you go from 3.5x mag to 3.6 3.7 3.8 3.9 and so on in 0.1 increments. If you select "central" reticle and "continuous" zoom you go from 3.5 to 7 then 7.1 7.2 7.3 and so on. From an AGF forum member.
I will be honest Sean you will hit a target or kill no better with the 4k but ye its clearer and just works better i really think Hik have got it right with this model for sure.

Ye they defecate all over the feed troughs and also we have wheat growing on this farm so i can control them for that to pal.

Ye go in the settings and you will see zoom and you can change it to multiple or continuous swap it to the opposite one its on now.
