I'm a 70's baby so, it's only right that I love Bellbottoms!💗 This is my first of many D.I.Y. Videos and I must say it's been long overdue and I feel right at home!! I'm obsessed with denim & bellbottoms so this is what happens when I combine the two with sewing & creativity!

What a helpful video, Diva! Thanks so much. I love the idea of using a circle skirt shape. Would this also work if I don't' make the gathers, but make sort of a flounce, instead of a gathered ruffle? Keep up the great work!

Hi! I love this video, thank you for making it. I have a question, I tried to search the exact pattern you used but its not readily available. Would you recommend using a child's size circle skirt pattern or adult?
Angie L Hello thank you for watching! It would all depend on the width of the pant leg you’re using if you wanted to use a child’s circle skirt pattern. A Adult pattern should work for adult sizes. You would just have to gather it to fit the pant leg circumference.

Cheyenne Murphy Hi I’m sorry for the late response! Another way to do it is you can just use a rectangle double the width of the pant leg circumstance. And follow the same gathering steps and attach it to the pants. I hope that made sense! ❤️

Even though the bottom is going to be gathered, do you still have to get a smaller size circle skirt pattern?
Unicorn Dreams no you don’t if you use a larger size circle skirt pattern you’ll just have more gathers and a fuller look! I hope that explanation helped! Thanks for watching! ❤️
