Done that a few times in my shop with the Ford Expedition. It's much simpler to lift the body prior to removing the cylinder heads as the engine is set back quite far. Who designs this crap!

Unnecessarily dangerous. All the heavy breathing and rushing around as if you’re on a timer is exhausting to watch. You will eventually learn through pain. Trust me, I know from experience.
